I kinda like my name, but the only reason why I like it is because I was trying to put in the name of the school what it was about, which is presenting a vast range of students from all different backgrounds with a diverse education.

I like Merri's idea to make the initials spell ACADEMY though.

I'm going to go ahead and throw Z into the academy. I don't see why the three founders should have to add the roleplay sample, seeing as we're the ones founding it. XD

I might remove him from it later, but I've been playing around with this idea for a little bit and I think I've pretty much adapted him to fit. -Nods-

Student or teacher: English Teacher
Character's name: Zaitsu Siiya
Gender: Male
Age: Looks to be twenty, is actually twenty-seven.
Appearance (Please try to describe with words. If you must use a picture, link it.) : Hair is somewhat short and always at least a little messy, and the purest shade of black. His eyes are bright red and often times seem to give off a soft glow (not menacing, not evil, just a slight, soft glow). Roughly 5'11" with a small build, though muscular without being obnoxiously so. (In other words, toned, but not like a bodybuilder.) His skin is very pale, but not ghastly white.
Race (Keep in mind, humans don't have powers) : Demon/angel hybrid, though maintains a human appearance. His race is known by only a handful of ACADEMY staff members.
Anything else you might want to add: Rip him apart based upon vague details regarding him (or at all) and I'll make you regret you ever heard his name. (A warning provoked by an earlier event where this character was shredded by an uninformed critic who never even stops to consider the heavy, deep symbolism I embed in my characters.)

His skin is slightly tanned (very slightly) and his eyes are a piercing shade of blue. His body type is that of a classic thin geek. He sometimes wears glasses and temporarily dyes the very tips of his hair.
Race (Keep in mind, humans don't have powers) : Like Malory, I don't know if he's human or not. That's something they won't tell me. =S
Bio (Optional, but don't go and give us the character's whole history) : Malory's best and only friend, he sees a side of Malory that most don't get to see, though he himself doesn't get to see much of Malory's true nature, and knows nothing of his friend's past before arriving at the school three years ago where they met.

He has a gentle nature which can turn aggressive in an instant if someone crosses him. He gets irritable when people try to pry into Malory's life by asking him all sorts of questions about him.
Anything else you might want to add: He loves to pick on the students in lower grades. He considers it their right of passage to put up with tormenting their first year.

Hmmm...the thread seems inactive. If it's not a problem for anyone, I'd like Mr. Allerdyce to teach the accelerated/honors English classes, an advanced lit. class, and philosophy. If anybody else really wanted these, it's a big school so I'm sure several teachers could teach the same subjects.

Toxic, I don't think your teacher should take on so many classes to teach. Sorry. I was thinking maybe two classes max for any one teacher. Or maybe three, depending.

Hrm, well I'm planning on having two of my characters teaching English classes... And my other characters would be in their classes and not the classes of your character. We could always have the option of putting them in more than one of the same class with different teachers...

Yeah, one character is enough for me to keep track of I believe. And yes, Wolfgang Allerdyce is about as Stu a name as you can get, without sounding Japanese-ish...haha.

Why do I get this feeling that you aren't going to take this seriously and you're going to end up making your character do the same shit your characters did in the last roleplay we had together, and in the end destroy the structure of time and space?

Because I tend to give that impression...but I swear to not attempt any utter derailing of any plot you folks collectively develop. Mr. Allerdyce isn't really a spotlight-grabbing character, if that was your concern. He's more of a supporting character, kind of odd set dressing almost...haha, the thing that happened last time was half my not knowing what the heck was going on/frustration that nearly every character had some dark and horrible past their players actually expected not only ME but my characters to be interested in as well.

Number one: I'm here at the beginning, in the OOC, so I should know what's going on.

Number two: I'm not going to get frustrated again because I've lightened up about that whole issue.

Well, just remember that if you fall behind in the posts of the roleplay that you need to read everything to catch up before posting again, so we might not risk the integrity of the entire damn roleplay.

Righto. I've gotten much better at that, I read some months worth of an already started Roleplay on another site before I requested to join it, so I think I'm improving in all said horrific habits...I should definitely be able to get at least a post per day in anyway, so no worries.

Ah, now see, that's a problem. Because that stunts the whole roleplay if too many people are waiting for a reply to happen. That's when we get time differences between characters movements and things get confusing. I demand more consistency than that, because I hate roleplays that get like that.

For a play-by-post roleplay one meaningful post per day is pretty consistent...I'll do more if I'm fortunate enough to be online when other people are posting.

Not really. See, if several users are online at the same time and roleplaying with each other, the passage of time continues moving. There won't be a specific post order (who posts before/after who) so it's not very consistent to only have one post per day.
