-not good with conflict- x_x Good news is my formatting's..uh..coming along. XD |
@Faiyth
That's good Faiyth ^^ I'm sure it'll be awesome. |
I sure hope so. XDD After all this work. x__x
|
*blinks* okay, it's really awkward in here now. So is everyone having a good evening/ wow it was raining earlier but now it's cleared...just as the sun is beginning to set
|
lol, the Sun has good timing. XD
I'm about to head off to do major grocery shopping with my mom. That'll take like 2 hours ish. |
I'm not having a good time. It's hot as hades outside and my car ac has lately decided it will only work intermittently. I just got home after 5 o clock traffic... UGH.
|
D:
Urgh. -lives in Florida- I feel ya on the heat. The humidity is crazy too. Anyways, bbs~ |
@Lunar
Oh, wow. O_O That sucks.. But then again I kinda wish it was warmer where I live(in Michigan). we had a really cold summer. We only went to the beach 3 times. There was like only 4 good weeks of actual summer I think..and they weren't even days in a row >_< It sucks when your car doesn't work though. I know a lot of people who are having trouble with their cars. Traffic is always horrible over here too. It's a college town, and one college is right across the street from another (It's really weird.. unless that's normal, but ...I don't think if it is.) It's good you made it back in one piece though ^^ @Faiyth See you soon ^^ |
South Texas heat is not fun. T_T
|
I'm originally from Arizona, so I love the heat. I thrive when its 100+. Of course the humidity utterly thwarts me and now I live in the Jaw-Ja. I am still adjusting even after being here for 5 years. I still forget that I have to specify "unsweet", that they have no concept of spicy and that I can't get good green chili down here. Also sugar on meat grosses me out and everyone around here seems to like things honeybaked. Blech.
|
Born and raised in 100 degree heat doesn't mean I like it. I can just stand it better than most. T_T
|
The downside of thriving in the 100+ heat means I am weak vs. cold. *laughs* It gets like to 60 and I need a sweater. I'm a mega-wuss in the cold.
|
@Lunar
Wow, all the way in Texas, huh? That's so far away >_< I know a lot of people here that are from Texas though..and some of them have moved back because there aren't many jobs here in Michigan. ^^" I used to live in California, but I think I was too young then to really care about it being hot. @Moxie I have some family in Arizona. I've never been there though. Really? No good spicey food? That sucks >_< *shudders* Sugar onmeat sounds so wrong.. Why would you put sugar on meat? |
@Moxie
Me too! Our winter is like 60 and we're all bundled up like eskimos. @Fuyumi Texas is not so far. I have a friend that just moved to S. Korea. My ex was living there too for a while. My bro is living in Hawaii. Plenty of places farther away. |
60? and you get bundled up? Here 60 is like..just right you know? a little chilly, but fine..
|
As a desert person I am a wuss versus cold. Totally and completely a wimp. If they turn the AC up too much at work, my fingernails start to turn blue. Mega-wuss.
As for sugar on meat- its the whole brown sugar/molasses marinade thing along with the honey-baked hams and turkeys and stuff. gag. |
Oh wow. They turn blue O_O you really would suffer here in Michigan...at least during the winter time and fall. Spring doesn't last very long either, then we have summer..and this years summer, as I said before wasn't that good at all. It was so cold T_T'
that really does sound gross. I don't tink I would want my meat to ever taste sweet in any way >_< |
I don't like sweet things in general, so savory things made to be sweet- bleh. I like my BBQ vinegary and not sweet. And spicy. Nom nom nom.
{start over-generalization} People down here seem to have a sweet tooth like nobody's business. Almost everyone I know who is from here eats sweet things whenever they can. I mean the tea may as well be sugar syrup. *shudder* The south is weird like that. The only reason they put salt on things is to make your taste buds open up so things taste sweeter.{/end over-generalization} Okay, that was a bit of an exaggeration- but not much. |
...really..wow that's amazing.. I don't think I'd ever move down south anyway, because I like the weather here...*sleeps better when cold*
Is it at least pretty there? |
Its green and some of the hills they refer to as mountains in the southeast are nice.
I love the southwest though. Big tall mountains, cacti. I love the cacti. And when it rains there is a lovely smell everywhere. And it is not brown and gross like most people think. There is green and it is nice. |
Oo..that sounds nice. Is there like any pretty forests? *hasn't traveled that way*
