Fantasy, you say? (Done looking for now!)
 

Okay. I have far too many characters in my head and not nearly enough ways to let them out. So here’s my solution: Gasp! I’ll roleplay! Here’s some stuff about me and my roleplaying. :3

I know this post looks long. but it's mostly just lists. ;_; You only have to read the bold stuff, and can ignore the listies if you want!

• I’m terrified of roleplaying with people I’m not even acquainted with. So this whole thing here is me trying to broaden my horizons. Please have patience with me!
• I really like fantasy. Whether it’s adventure, romance, modern, medieval, whatever, chances are, I’ll be happy.
• If you’d like to do something that is not fantasy… well, run it by me. We’ll see if I’m willing to step out of my box. :3
• As far as romance goes, I’ll do girlxgirl, boyxboy, and boyxgirl. If you have a preference, I’m all good with it. I betcha thought you’d never see THAT, did you?
• I’ll only roleplay with literate people. Meaning please type out your words and such. And use punctuation. And such dandy things. I’d really like to not have this restriction, but it’s so distracting. D: Sorry sorry!
• I’m a really laid back roleplayer. I honestly will not get mad or bug you if you take a few days to respond or something! I do, however, expect the same courtesy. Reminders are fine, but please do not pressure me to post or remind me more than once.
• I’m queen of typos and my grammar is not always perfect. But I do try. Really!
• If you don’t like something I’m doing, tell me! I promise I won’t turn into a monster about it. Once again, though, I do wish the same courtesy for myself. :heart:
• I may have to tell you I’m just not feeling it and don’t wish to continue. I’m super sorry if that happens. And of course, if you don’t like our roleplay, feel free to tell me if you want to change something or just want to be done!

• Chinese culture-style fantasy (Fu Dogs, Pi Yao, Feng Huang, Chinese dragons, Huli Jing, Nian, and so on)

• Ancient Cultures (Grecian, Egyptian, and Matriarchal cultures especially!)
• Tribal groups
• Magic School
• Modern World
• Questing (to retrieve something, defeat an enemy, etc)
• Political (Rebels, royalty, war, and so on)
• Vampires
• Werewolves
• Sorcerers
• Elves
• Prophecy
• Anthros (Furries? I don’t really know what I’m supposed to call ‘em!)
• Wolves
• Animal (Be these animals in general or a specific kind of animal)
• Anything centering on a particular race of fantastical creatures (Fairies, centaurs, unicorns, sea nymphs, griffins, gargoyles, Kirin, something we make up, whatever!)
• Horror
• Orphans
• Merchants
• Thieves
• Any ideas you might have! I’ll consider (and probably like) basically anything.
• If you have a plot idea, TELL ME. <3 Or tell me to think of one about something.

As you can see, I’m pretty open to anything and everything. Except, I’m wary of fandom roleplays. Here’s a few things you might be able to persuade me to do, though, if you’ll allow for OCs being in them and also offer me bribes of cookies! >:3

The name's Brandon, and I come bearing gifts - or well, a gift. Hell, more like a proposition. Anyway, bear with me. :)

I love Fantasy, so you're in for a treat there! That's my specialty, and I've rarely stepped outside of the realm of fantasy for much of anything else.

I also love adventurous stuff, so perhaps this can be an adventure-esque fantasy roleplay? Perhaps a quest of some sort, but... We'll see how cliche our ideas come out to being. xP

Other than that, I'll gladly settle for solely a fantasy RP. I'm not much for anything else (romance is awkward for me, although it's occasionally necessary for character development), so... Yeah.

Perhaps it'd be best if we kept JUST to fantasy, come to think of it. xD I can't imagine intertwining adventure in there without making it cliche or... Annoying to RP. P:

At any rate, more introductory notes:

I'm Brandon, as I already said above. 8D I'm sixteen [and a half], a soon-to-be Senior in high school. My main passion in life is writing [duh], and I aspire to be a screenwriter when I "grow up". My second passion in life is humor... I'm a very sarcastic/dark-humored individual, so don't be surprised if my sarcasm takes a turn for something morbid (that is, something rather oddly perverted, with a twist of... lime?).

Other stuff, I am sure, will be discussed/revealed as we go along. =D

I'm not precisely rusty in regards to roleplaying, but I am most certainly rather unaccustomed to avatar community forum RPs, so it might be some sort of adjustment for me - specifically since I just came back to Mene. Regardless, I'll be dedicated and reliable. So don't worry about that! :B

Facade/Brandon- ...Which do you prefer to go by online? Feel free to call me Rommy, or of course, Iltu, or some variation of either. Rom, Tutu, whatever you decide. I'm adaptable. XD

I'm quite certain I cannot go wrong RPing with someone who introduces themselves in such a kind and rather amusing manner! What sort of fantasy are you hoping for? By which, I suppose I mean, more modern, lacking technology, how prominent is magic in every day life...? Or have you a care? Also, have you any plot or setting ideas? Unless you'd like to plan something, I myself prefer to introduce characters and let a plot build from their interactions- so long as one does build.

No romance is fine! I'm quite content with or without.

Lavndr- I love other typo machines! They make me feel less bad when I make a typo!

I'm generally the type that stays in the medieval fantasy era, but I truly NEED a good modern fantasy RP... Those are so hard to come by, so... Yeah. If you think you can supply me with one o' those, then that'd be great!
Also, I tend to favor RPs where magic is pretty much common knowledge and acceptance, seeing as how it's hard as heck to RP the flipside of that - and doing so tends to get boring, since secrecy is all fine and dandy for about a millisecond in my mind. xD

I agree with you in regards to just having a plot form along the way. Sometimes people put too much energy into pre-planning something, which in turn kills the mood, etc. So I'd much prefer to just play it by ear, so to speak!

Oh, I'm excited! A modern fantasy sounds great. I've got tons of characters for modern fantasy, but almost never get to use them in RPs. ;_; I only get to write stories about them on my own!

I guess if we're both eager to not plan, we should just get the ball bouncing...? I honestly don't mind what kind of setting we start off in, I can roll with it. Would you like to start, or shall I? :D

I'm not really all that inspired in terms of where to start off, so normally when I feel that way, it all turns out to be a boring city, or a boring... Blah. Yeah. Boringness. D8

Just as a side note, my character, Rehkar, is a shapeshifter, so don't hesitate to make some sort of random appearance up for yourself in order to reply realistically. xP The only trait that stays with him through his shiftings are his pale yellow eyes, so... Yeah. 8D
I'm not picky about what shape he takes, so go crazy - he can always shift into something more... him. :B

I enjoy "literate" roleplaying and some fantasy, as well, although I am not too fond of stereotypes. Elves, sorcery, political...these categories interest me. If you have any plot ideas, that would be excellent. I would probably go for ones that others turn down.

And hello, Lumiel! Welcome to the wondrous thread that is Tutu's, err... Humble abode? Yeah. That. ;D

Lumiel- But of course! I think you might have to be my last one for now, lest I get in so over my head in roleplays I can't keep up!

Of those three, sorcery sounds the most fun to me right now... As far as plot goes, perhaps something along the lines of an order of sorcerers that is called to action against some foe, and the few that end up going to deal with the problem end up way over their heads- like, the foe, whever it may be, is alot tougher to deal with than they bargained for, and they have to learn that magic is not a fix-all solution? If that doesn't appeal to you, I can try tio think of something else, in the same or another category.

Facade- I did happen to notice that, yes. :P

And my character reffering to my character as a fox or cat girl made me realize that heavens, I'm not sure what she is. XD; Her tail is more squirrel-like than anything else, and her ears are like those long elf ears, but with tufts of fur at the end. o_o; So I'll probably just make up a name for what she is. At some point.

I just made an educated guess. It's actually GREAT to hear that she's neither of those, seeing as how they become rather redundant in terms of RP characters' races. I guess what I'm saying is, they're over-played. :B
And ooh, that sounds like such a better combination than I originally imagined. xD

I'll admit, I have plenty of cat/fox boys/girls, but I have plenty of characters of other races as well. :B And goodness knows they need some RP time!

...And now I realize that squirrel is a bad word to describe her tail, because squirrels don't have purple tails! DX

I've been Facade since, I think, early '04, when I was originally on IMVU. Times have changed, though, and I haven't been on IMVU for YEARS. Funny how things change.~
