Well, to be quite honest, I am sick to death of wars in the royalty plots. xwx; Nearly every plot centers around a war. How about an assassination attempt instead? Your stable hand's daughter could have been trained as a soldier, disguised as a boy, and somehow ends up saving the prince from an assassination attempt, so she is knighted and assigned to protect him until the country/empire trying to take over the prince's kingdom is found and taken care of. The king could be on the verge of death, and that's why they're after the prince. What do you think? |
I think that's an awesome idea. Rather than wage a war the opposing country/empire stages an assassination attempt. With the prince gone it would be easy to install a king of their own on the thrown and take over the country quietly. |

I'll set it up if you like. Are we going to do profiles? I think it'd be good to start the day of the attempt but before it happens. Say, early morning then have the attempt be that evening or night. |
I was thinking the same thing: Start the roleplay in the morning and have a parade for a holiday or something in the afternoon and that's when the attempt happens.
Thank you, for setting it up. I don't usually do profile anymore. I just describe what the person looks like in the first post and then let their personality and such unfold throughout the roleplay. Is that okay with you? |

I'm on a yaoi kick today, but I was hoping for arranged married rp, where, the Prince is force marry this Princess but wants to be with his bodyguard. I of course, am good as a uke. Though I give the role of the princess to you, and you could be either the guard or Prince. That is if you want to rp this.

Rei: *Sigh* I've been looking to play more female characters than male, but if I'm playing both I guess that will balance out. I don't understand what uke means. I don't do the whole Japanese thing really. I know it means one of the two things it means, but I don't really care to incorporate it into the roleplay. Characters are characters and they have their personalities. The fun of the roleplay is seeing how those characters work together. I think it would be more beneficial were I to play the guard and the princess, seeing as the prince has to interact with both and I don't think it would be much fun for you to be posting to yourself. The princess and guard have less of a likelihood of having a lot of dialogue.

Well then, I'll be the Prince, and yes this is why I suggested this plot to you in order to give you some female time. I meant it, as in the relationship part, my character is more likely to be the consider the "girl" of the two. We can always add in another character for your girl to have her own happily ever after. |
