I love RPing. It's a great way to pass the time and get your creative juices flowing. However, I like writing--a great deal. So, when I say that I'm a literate role player, I mean it. I'm talking, like, at least four intellectual paragraphs for each post. I'm looking for someone who can match that ability.

If you fit that qualification, congrats, you can proceed to look at what kind of RP I'm interested in.

I like:
~Fantasy/SciFi
~Historical
~Romance (but nothing cliched and/or stupid)
~Modern-day Fiction/Fantasy (different than SciFi)
~Ideas based off of traditional fairy tales

I dislike:
~RPs based of of any series of any kind. Books, movies, shows, anime...Use your imagination and come up with something somewhat original.
~Nothing cliched. If you want to do the typical vampirexhuman, for example, make it worth writing about.

Also, I enjoy playing male characters the best, for some reason, and I'm more than happy to--in fact, I probably will--create more than one character with which to write about. I also prefer writing in a forum.

One final note: my computer has crashed recently. So, I can't promise that I can post as much as I would like. If I don't respond to a post for a while, it's not that I've forgotten you, just that I haven't gotten access to a computer. Thank you for your patience.

I've extensive experience as both a vampire and mortal player in storylines involving vampires, but I am fairly well versed with a variety of interactions. I am not opposed to romance, either traditional or Yuri (Sorry I don't do Yaoi), as long as it is kept tasteful and PG-13 "ish". Also, I prefer original storylines, I just use fiction examples to communicate the style. I have an aversion to rewriting already done fiction.

My preferences would be, in the style of the David Letterman top 10 list (and I will play either) -

10 - Vampire/Human
9 - Angel/Human
8 - Wizards (in the style of Harry Potter)
7 - Superhuman (X-Men Evolution style)
6 - Paranormal Human/Human (Humans discover paranormal)
5 - Paranormal Ghost/Human
4 - AI(android)/Human (in the style of Chobits)
3 - Sword and Sorcery (Inyuyasha like)
2 - Modern Martial Arts with elements of magic (like Ranma 1/2, the 1/2 concept is intriguing to me)
1 - Alien/Human

Would you be interested in a steampunkified Arthurian legend styled roleplay?

(By this I mean the format and general feel of the tales, only with steampunk rather than medieval elements.)

Tee:: Is the number one at the bottom of the list your most preferred? If so, or if not, you have a good amount of ideas that we could brainstorm with.

Hallowed:: Very intriguing idea. I would never have thought to combine those two genres together.

@Fake Blue Rose - Yep, number one is most preferred, simply because in my recent roleplaying, I have played the others more... like number 10 is my most played and I haven't even tried a few of the top ones at all!

Hey, I'm looking for a roleplayer as well. I enjoy roleplaying about fantasy. I don't mind if you pick the plot. I have a lot of characters for many different roleplays. Hope we can sometime ;D

Cheshire:: Haha. Naturally. I don't have a specific plot in mind, however, if you do, I'm more than happy to hear it. And I prefer not to have a skeleton, it kind of ruins all the surprises that might be in store, although I do like to have somewhat of a direction. Posting in a thread would make my life so much easier. It's just so much more organized.
