I would like to rp with you. I'm guessing I'm a bit on the same level as you are.

I was thinking of a Past, Fantasy, steampunkish rp.

Sailor- I'll work on putting together some profiles and we can start the thread later then.

I don't like to limit myself to a small list. It gets old fast and I have a broad range of interests. ;D

Erm...Not really. Perhaps something involving a nobleman who hires a servant and they start a love/hate relationship?

What if he isn't the one who hires her? Maybe he works for the Emperor/King/Whatever doing research and she is hired on as his assistant. Even if they don't get along she needs the job and he doesn't have the authority to fire her because the higher ups hired her?

And perhaps, later in the story their Emperor/King/Whatever gets poisoned and turns crazy. Then he and she will defend him and find out who is behind it?

Hmm. What if some ancient technology has been uncovered and they're working on harnessing that into usable machines? They could dabble in weapons or vehicles or anything really. We'd just have to figure out what that technology is.

Yes like turning salt into energy, they could do something like that. Or they find new materials to work with.

I like the idea of turning salt into energy. They could be working on a way to use that technology based on salt water so it can give off the impression that it's normal steam energy because of the water when it's really running off the salt. Very tricky...

Hmn, yes indeed. And there will be lots of problems at the start with it. Because salt can be tricky to use. And they could make ships sail on salt water =D

Where will they be? Do we use the normal world map, or do we create our own world?

I think it'd be fun to make up our own version of the world rather than sticking with this world's map as it is. A nation of islands (like Indonesia but maybe a bit smaller) could be fun. Or at least a coastal country... maybe something like Peru where mountains cut off part of it from the mainland...

I am interested in Steampunk. Mostly because I love the style, but never heard of it being a role play plot before xD

Steam punk style is pretty awesome. As far as rps go I'm mostly seen it as a sort of a Victorian time period with modern style inventions and whatnot added into it. Kind of an excuse to throw historical accuracy out the window. ;D

I've kind of had a plot idea kicking around my head about a clockwork city where the clockwork has all stopped for unknown reasons... but that's kind of all I've got for that idea so far. >.<

That Could be just enought to work with. I have an idea for my character too^^ One of your average witty inventors xD Only everything fails.
