Dear Potential Role Play Partner(s),

First off, I apologize if this is too much to read... But read it anyway~ Please and thank you!

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my letterthread. As you can obviously see, I'm currently looking for some 1x1 role playing. Or a small group consisting of 4-5 people.

I've been role playing for years and I'm constantly going in and out. Mainly due to my hectic life (and how boring myspace (guilty!) role playing got), but recently, I've slowly gotten back my muse and I've been itching to find some new friends/rp buds. I try not to be gender picky, but yes, I am a girl so naturally, I'd like to be the heroine; however, I'll be more than happy to play a male character. (Be warned now... Manly-ness is NAWT my thing.) I prefer MalexFemale/Hetro, I've played with FemalexFemale/Yuri, but that got a bit too creepy for me and I'll make exceptions for MalexMale/Yaoi, depending on the characters. Also, I love romance; I'm a huge sap when it comes to romance, but I don't enjoy jumping into a relationship spot on. The whole love at first sight we can do, but I do prefer some development between our characters before something official happens. [I.E- Twilight... Yes, you heard/read me correctly! This will be explained later on... xD] And before you jump off the boat (sorry just getting your attention), we DO NOT have to do romance if you don't want to.

As a heads up, I have little to no plot ideas for the following... I enjoy surprises and originally.

But before I go into that, I have a few rules. Its mainly common sense... And highly popular these days.

1. NO GODMODING OF ANY SORT. kthnx.
2. Literacy is a must. Use the English your teachers taught you.
3. Looking for quality over quantity... Ten million paragraphs of the same thing over and over again will annoy me to no end.
4. If something comes up and it causes you to have to pause our role play... Please, let me know. Or else I'll get this feeling that I'm getting boring/ignored and I seriously hate that feeling.
5. I don't like pre-made characters (on your part)... Those characters are your characters, not mine.
*6. This isn't a rule or anything, it's just a heads up on my part. I normally write 2-3+ paragraphs but I don't expect you to do the same. Write what you can... Just try to lay off the one-liners if possible.

A soul calibre rp never thought of something like that before. Just for curiousity sake how would one begin to run a fighting game into an rp.

Lawlz-- It's nothing too complicated. I started one with a friend and it goes along the line of any other role play. You introduce the character in some sort of awesome way, throw in some action scenes (via the fight, a fight...) and viola, a fighting game role play!

Hi there! I'm a little new to this site (just started yesterday) and I don't really get the whole role playing thing. It seems pretty interesting though and I read through your whole message. I'm willing to duel you! I watch the original series of Yugioh and I love it. I personally hate 5D (Gx was ok...i guess). 5D's new ways are too over the top and confusing! It took a little time to get the original game down and 5D is just making it more complicated! Card Games on motor bikes?! I mean come on! The only bad thing about the first Yugioh is that too many friendship speeches are made. And they are pretty sappy. But I love it anyway!

Anyhoo! Role playing is fun, it helped me become a better writer and gave me ideas for stories. And I'm serious too... Ehehe. But yeah, I take it you've never dueled rp before? I've tried it once (with a KAIBA role player... x.e) and I got addicted. I watched most of GX, mainly because my boyfriend often streamed Anime on his laptop... And as for 5D, the closest thing I got to dueling with the rules is the current YGO! World Championship 2009...

But that's a bit off the topic... Sooooooo... If you want to sometime, we can set up an rp duel or attempt one. I probably need to look over those rules again.

Just so you know...I tend to favor storylines that start out kind of small, with a good bit of character development, and a few twists and turns along the way as it slides into something a bit more...(now what is a good way to put it...) epic? I'm fine playing male or female... human/non-human.. pretty much anything. It can be a romance.. but it does not necessarily have to be. OH! Also.. Did you have anything in particular in mind for an Ancient China RP? Like a particular time period? I am an enormous fan of the Three Kingdoms period, and I'd like to try me some Spring and Autumn, too, if you're looking for something in either of those? >>~?

Besides, I think we should plot a bit just so we can get a good idea as to where we start. But I'm just as stumped as you are when it comes to a plot... But I've adored the whole God/dess falling for the mortal and they embark on this journey for some reason... And then the lead girl dies... Why do the sad ones always appeal to me? Its rather cliche in all the dramas I've seen.

And to answer your question: Fairy from Wonderland, The Butterfly Lovers (the movie with Wu Chun, Hu Ge and Charlene Choi), Chinese Paladin, the Myth and the Legend of the Condor Heroes. I'm a big Hu Ge fan as you can see...

I will have to look into those, hehe. I would like to get a bit more into historical dramas, for funsies =x;;

I am most familiar with the Three Kingdoms period, myself, but we could do something else if you'd like; I mean, I figure we're not being too huge about complete historical accuracy anyway? I guess you want to do something supernatural, too -- that might work better in one of the earlier periods. (( Have you read/heard of Feng Shen Yanyi / Creation of the Gods / Houshin Engi? =o ))

Haha, yeah-- They're really good, I seriously recommend them. My favorite being Chinese Paladin~I really love the main character's--Li Xiao Yao--persona. He makes you laugh a lot.

Twilight, pokemon, fantasy, romance, band, school, vampires, or werewolves all sound good to me. I think it's funner when you have three to four people in it because then you get different tastes of how it goes. Consider this my way of saying I will roleplay with you even without a group lol.

What would you do with Twilight?

Yello! xD My name is Jujubes. You can call me jujubes, Juju, J.C., or Jenn, your choice. It is nice to meet you.

I'm a literate roleplayer, going on, I believe, seven years as such. I can play male or female, though, honestly, I'm a bit better at males, despite the genitalia I possess in real life. ^^; I guess that's because my first roleplay character ever was male. He was a black wolf named Talon, and his descendants live on in my current canine OC, Vulcanis/Vukasin. For humans/humanoids, I usually play one of my three OCs: Matthew Roland, a bisexual/homosexual 16-18 year old (depending on the plot) male, Leucion Ir'All Ah'riar, a female human/elf between 20 and 35 years old, or Quetaiachim Malachai, a female human/shape-shifter between 16 and 19 years old.

I like fantasy and sci-fi roleplays most, but I also adore a decent high school/university roleplay. I enjoy playing Matt as a werewolf (Vulcanis is his four-pawed alter-ego in such cases), and I could possibly pass Queta off as a vampire, though shape-shifter works best for her. Leucion is almost exclusively an elf, and she's been an elven pirate several times. I loooove love/hate relationships, drawn out lead-ups, and those 'I-don't-realize-it-until-it's-almost-too-late' love stories.

I'm looking for someone with decent talent to play with because, at the moment, I'm only in one other roleplay, my own. At least here on Menewsha, and I need an outlet for my non-canine muse. xD

Well I can play as an original or as Jasper.... I would love to play as Jacob if you would like to be renesmee but of course when she is a little more matured lol it's fun that way :) Or any type of romance you would like ^_^
