Uh, I guess I wouldn't mind it, as long as we stuck to only being able to bend just one element. If we wanted to add more elements later, we can do that, but only if everyone else gets to bend another element.

Oh, I would just make her a water bender, the only person who should be allowed to bend more than one element, is the avatar of that time.

Someone else who believes in following the rules of the avatar world! :hug: I actually stopped doing avatar rps for a while, because I got sick of people making their characters able to bend anything they wanted. => A <= Though, we should also take into consideration that the Avatar world has been evolving... The school should be able to teach them to bend other things, respectively; like how Toph can bend metal? Like, air benders could learn how to bend the weather (fronts and such are controlled by the air pressure); water benders could learn how to bend all liquids; and fire benders could learn how to control light and heat.

Well, I figured earth benders would have metal bending, and that Water Benders could bend, water, sweat and blood, like Katara could, but I don't want to go past what the show establish, because in reality, the bending skills over time would be lost instead of gained, especially in a modern world, bending would be replaced with weapons. Light, isn't apart of fire though.

I disagree - Have you seen Fullmetal Alchemist? In most fantasy alternate-realities, "powers" are often used with the weapons, making it nearly impossible for people without powers to be effective soldiers; so for example giving a water bender the ability to bend gasoline would be a great battle technique. But, if you don't want to overstep the boundaries of the show, that's fine with me. Also, one of the first things you learn in chemistry is that combustion (fire) is a chemical reaction of light and heat. XD

Not in physics class. I'm in sociology and we learn that things from the past tend to disappear. But yeah, I'd rather stay inside the show.
