I mainly stick with medival. Haven't made any more modern characters yet. Can you do made-up worlds. I can contribute to making up the world if needed. I already made two. xD |

Thats good, because nothing stunts creativity more then being bound to an era. I also like using alternate universes so if someone wants to have a modern meets medieval its totally possible without cheesetastic time machines.
So can I have a brief description of some characters? I will have to dig some of mine out. |

Oh, wow. XD I have over seventy characters, so that'd be a lot...a few of my favorites are a couple of identical twin mermen, a master female thief, a fallen male tyrant who thinks he's a God, a hyper little cat boy, a complete bully (male) who loves furry coats), a green-haired virtuoso boy, an albino girl that is half-human and half-bat, and a few angels, elves, and demons (of mixed genders) . |

Though I can't use just anyone. And I usually use more then one if thats ok. The ones I'm up to using at the moment is my Phoenix girl (not very developed but useable) my abomination (think ent demon) My puppet master (voodoo lady) and a character thats simmilar to an elf whos race does not have a name yet. There are more but their sheets are somewere in my hardrive...somewere. xD |
If I thrown in all the characters I don't bother with at all anymore, I'd probably be somewhere in that range...XD I don't mind more than one--I welcome it, as long as we keep them all on track and active somehow.
I have many things that are lurking around in my hard drive, that I've forgotten about. I'm just too lazy to dig them up. :sweat: |
I usually redo all my characters every so often. I'm also a fan of omitted pasts. Because nothings more of a downer then a character angsting. xD But if I need to add one its ok. Though they end up average unless tragedy/bad things are there for a point. I use past RPs as their past unless their new. Like a growing thing.

Usually, I'll have at least one bad past experience become known. And that would explain some of the character's...issues, because all of mine have at least one kind of issue, whether it's a giant amount of memory loss or multiple personalities.

Ehh I'm not a fan of mental disorders. Had WAAAAAAAAYYY too many, so may I ask you avoid those unless it adds to plot well. DX Though amnesia doesn't bug me as much as long as its not corny. I'm thinking of using my abomination character to start then adding another later on. (if it fits) Hes kinda amnesic though he doesn't know he is and will never get his memory back.
I usually pick characters before plots makes it easier to get a good one for them to run around in. |

Ehh more on the vampire? I normally don't RP with them. And I don't mind a half breed demon/elf as long as its not corny/bland.

Hm, let's see...her name is Dizzy. She was born to well-off parents and ran away at the age of eleven, thirsting for adventure. She joined a small pirate crew, and somewhere along the way--she can't precisely remember--she was bitten by a scruffy vampire she only remembers as Eli. She became a pirate, and spends her days sailing on the open sea. She's very calm, cool, and collected, and is a born leader. She has a bit of trouble remembering her home life, but she does know she had a brother back home--an older one.
The half-breed is the cook of her pirate crew, so I thought it would be a good idea to keep them together. |
