Plot wise, I'm not sure. Yeah winging it plots usually do end up like that. It sucks.

PLOT

Your an average, every day human living an ordinary life. However, things take a turn for strange one day when you return home to find a rather lost looking Elf in your bedroom. Stranger still is the story the Elf tells you. Your not your average, every day human. Oh no, your a direct descendant of a great warrior that fought for the Elvish people many centuries before. War has once again broken out and the Elves need a hero. If it finally sinks in and you believe what the Elf says, would you return to the Elvish world and aid them?
(Gay, straight or hetero. Plenty of room to work with too =) ))

Nope, the one who has problems with names is Grim.The big choice between them would be do you want more humor or more seriousness?Because you're not getting any jokes out of Gwyn unless they're not intended and terribly morbid, but Grim's a lot less serious and has more funny moments.

Hell, good luck getting any emotion at all out of Gwyn..8D;

The obvious plot would be that your character has a month/a week/any other short amount of time to live and he doesn't know it, btu hey, he has three new friends!..They're..kind of morbid and awkward, but hey!Friends!

Blah blah Gwyn shows some emotion finally and falls in love blah or Grim falls in love blah blah flip hourglass innocent whistle character doesn't die.
Or character does die and we get an interesting rest of the rp in the afterlife. o-o; One failed rp I even had Gwyn's higher ups decide to make the other person's character into a reaper, with Gwyn as his teacher/caretaker.

But that plot and it's many variations you can imagine is, like, most generic thing ever for this 'race' of characters for obvious reasons.

..Also I'm bad at plots. >w> I always end up making shit up as I go along! o-o; OH WELL I'M NOT TRYING TO BE MOTHEREFFIN' PROFESSIONAL HERE. I was going to say a well renowned Writer's name but the only one I could think of is J.K. Rowling. If I actually have inspiration I think part of my writing is most influenced by Lemony Snicket(Or whatever his real name is) because I myself narrate it a bit sometimes. 8D;
