A while back a rp partner of mine and I used to base all our rps off of anime pictures we collected online. One of us would pick a picture and come up with the genre or pairing we wanted to do with it and then develop a starting plot and go from there. I miss doing things that way because it was fun and creative. It also sped along character development. ;D

So, what I'd like you to do is take a look at my photobucket account and see if any pictures catch your eye. If one does, fill out the form and post it here or PM it to me.

For the record;

- I prefer hetero romances but I might be talked into Yuri or Yaoi romances... maybe even as a subplot.

- I will play a female or male main character. There are certain rps/plots/pairings that I will not rp as a male for. I don't have a list of those but I will let you know if it comes up. I doubt it will, though.

All that not your style? Try this, then!

I can't stand when my search threads are messy so everything is really blunt and stream lined here. Some of it is repeat information from above. I'm very open to trying new ideas and building a plot based on the genre/pairing/etc you are interested in.

My style:

• I will play female or male characters depending on the rp.
• I prefer hetero. I'll try yuri. I won't do yaoi.
• I play multiple characters. My main character and plenty of side characters throughout the rp.
• I make up new characters for every rp.
• I talk out plot points and sometimes need a wall to bounce ideas off of. So you be rubber and I’ll be glue. ;D
• I tend to be online everyday and will try to post as often as I can.
• I like to post two-three paragraphs per post or at least one decently sized paragraph per character but I am capable of more or less. I don't set out to do it, but I tend to match what my partner gives me.

Rules:

• Use spell check and grammar to the best of your ability. In general terms I’m looking for a literate partner.
• Put some thought into it. You responses, plot, twists, etc. I always do and really appreciate some devious mindedness on my rp partner’s part as well.
• Real life happens. I get that. I do not have unrealistic expectations of you being online constantly and solely for the purpose of rping with me and I expect you not to have them for me. That being said, I am online a great deal.
• Don’t come to me with a list of pre-made characters. They bore me and I hate the sensation of getting sloppy seconds.

Plot Ideas: I was thinking the guy could be a prince of a ninja or samurai clan, and he soon has to be a satiable wife which he doesn't want to, but will do so for his people, but before hand he wants one last time of fun. So he ventures out to a festival to have a last chance at fun, where he meets a young lady who catches his eye. He decides to have one last fling, but he picks a proper lady for his wife, and starts to chase after said girl, eventually falling for her, yet his clan's customs say they can't married, and the fact that every thing girl knows about him isn't the truth, is what holds him back. Though the member of the clan who would take the throne if the prince did not, plots to steal the throne. It's a rather rough idea, and we can totally change it.
Other information: I would want to add two more characters, so you have a chance to be a girl if you wish.

I'm pretty sure I only half followed all of that. O.o;

What would make him chase after the dancer girl if they have their fling and he goes ahead and picks a proper wife? I don't like playing unfaithful men in that regard....

I actually have a slightly better plot in mind, I was thinking the prince was a vampire. Expect he would be the normal, I suck anyone's blood I want, but more of the kind, that has to find his one mate, the one person in the world who he can drank dry and they won't die. The way they figure a person is there mate is by there highly sweet scent. Yet the Prince needs to find his mate soon, so he can take over the throne, yet he can't seem to find her, so he is sent to another clan's festival in hopes of finding her, in order to keep his evil relative from taking over. He then happens upon the dancer, and realizes, she is his mate, yet when he tries to whoo her, she refuses his charms, he realize he has is work ahead of him, if he is to win her heart before the festival is over, and it doesn't help that his relative his trying to keep that from happening.

Is that a better one?

A bit better, yes. I'd think that for someone to be his mate it would be someone he'd want to turn... Maybe this version of vampire is only able to turn one person? They can drink from many and kill by draining those they drink from... but they are only able/allowed to turn one mortal into a vampire? It could be a special rule of the ruling class? And he's passed up countless opportunities to find the right one and now time is running out?

I'm not crazy about the relative thing... mostly because I don't see vampires as having actual relatives... and because I don't want to be stuck playing them, too.

I could play the bad guy, this type of vamps, wouldn't be what we are use to, and wouldn't be twilightifed either. I don't like the turning of vampires, what would be the point of having a mate, who's blood you feed of it you turned her, since vampires don't have blood. I was just thinking there is only one person, who is able to be your mate, and his only rush is so he can gain the throne, and once the bound is done, the woman, stops aging, as long as the vampire stays alive, but if the vampire, dies the woman starts to age once more, if the human dies once the bond is made, the vampire goes crazy with blood lust and ends up dying, and they only end up dying because the other vamps are forced to kill the vamp in bloodlust.

Seems silly to me for a vampire to take only one mate when they live forever and mortals lives are so short.

And when you say 'mate' I think companion... not dinner.

The no aging thing is kind of neat... but I don't really see the purpose/difference between that and turning the girl except she'd still have blood.

And a heart beat, and can sleep, dream, go out in the sun, eat food. I would figure that most vamps in the story would just use their mate as a food source. With the no aging thing she wouldn't die unless she was killed or her vampire died.

I dislike the turning part of vampires, so If I do vampire rps, I tend to get rid of that element.

Another way to explain the mate/bond thing, was that a vampire many many hundreds of years ago, did a spell so that every future vampire would have an person who would be their endless food source, so they would have to risk exposure.

I'm having trouble in finding the words to express how I'm feeling about this...
It's like...
Without the prospect of turning someone... it's just forcing me to play an extremely limited character without any of the sense of danger vampires normally have. I don't quite see the point of him being a vampire at all that way.

I don't mind him turning others, just not my girl, because if he turned her he would lose his food source. Anyone else is fair game.

Though I can understand, if you rather not, we or I could try to come up with another plot.

I don't like the idea of her being his only food source. =/

I think there are just too many things in this idea that I don't like, so maybe coming up with something else would be better.

Well I don't have any more ideas in the front of my mind, do the pictures inspire any ideas for you?

I don't much care for the female's picture...

But if I was going to come up with a storyline for the guy based on the picture I'd have it be a modern/steampunk fantasy rp. Where he's in his 20's and helps throw a town's celebration of some part of their local culture, perhaps at an older temple. He's something of a spirit guide and is actually from another time/world that is parallel to the one the celebration is happening in. Only allowed to travel between the worlds on that one day each year or whatever, he has to find a girl to bring home with him who will act as his companion/queen/servant/whatever. Each year he has the option of finding a new one... perhaps it has something to do with magic? Like the girls from this world have the potential of magic and they need mages in his world so he comes to recruit one each year? And this year could be different because he falls for the girl he picks to bring back to his world?

Though I do like the plot, how about we use magic part as the reason he goes, like his world needs someone with strong magic to be the queen and keep the world safe, and that each year when he falls for them, he has the chooice to to choose a new one, but he always does because some how they fail him/break his heart. Like some girls were simply to weak or others fall for other guys, or their magic get tainted, so he defeats the girl he once choose and goes to find another. If that's alright as an add on.

I love steampunk... it's a great excuse for a Victorian time era without being historically accurate.

Skipping the queen bit, I think that if each girl he brings has a shelf-life of one year lasting in his world without a ceremony only he can perform that would let them stay forever it might work. Like they have a one year trial period and if he finds them unsuitable, as he always does for one reason or another, he returns them to their own world and picks a new girl?

That works for me, are you going to pick one of my pictures to use, since I got to pick who you play? Well he looks at least.

We'd need to figure out the time era and what not before I can do that since you turned steampunk down...

I would say a that the festival takes place in the modern world, while his world had a feudal feeling, with fantasy elements.

I don't like the feudal time era... or the general Asian vibe in past settings.

Sorry meant, medieval, with the castle feel, and slightly older ways, but in a way that's not like modern girl's medieval times would have been like.

I really would prefer a steampunk setting... or maybe just something like a WWII kind of world. A bit simpler than modern times without having to be medieval. Something that mixes in fantasy, of course... a Victorian world that replaces machines with magic...

Well I don't want a WWII, setting if the war would be include, but using how times where back then, minus the mass killing, and war, that would be fine.

I understand you prefer a steampunk setting, but I don't like steampunk, I'm sorry.

I kind of need to understand what you do and don't like before I can make a solid suggestion. I don't like throwing things out just for constant rejection...
