The year is 2091. The recent discovery by Dr.Minamoto answered the cry of Icarus from the world beneath: the ability to fly from the invention of the Air Treck. Bladers everywhere answered the challenge from the foolish prodigy, buying Air Trecks in their foolish quest to claim the sky for themselves.
With numbers come competition, with competition comes camaraderie. Different kinds of AT gangs banded together, some for fellowship, others for sports, hobbies, what have you.
But where power rests, there are those who corrupt it. Soon enough organized crime got a hold of these, rapidly challenging the inept policemen as they fought their way to supremacy in the Underground world. Other AT-Technicians, out of self-preservation, also formed such gangs only to fall under the lucrative promise of the black market, corrupting them in the process. They no longer fought for honor, respect or to reach out to the sky, they fought only for personal gain. The world devolved to lesser society and worse, to nothing more than rats and predators eating each other out.
Their notoriety earned the Air Treck Technicians the common title of Storm Riders, and in turn public opinion turned on these youngsters, easily pushed into the fold of dangerous mobsters and criminals using ATs as well. In time even the governments grew nervous from the mere existence of these Air Trecks, only to have their worries grow to nightmares after hearing about the existence of Regalia. The person who would hold these could bring about a new world order, possibly even the potential to rule the world.
With this, they would not have it. What started as a few widespread banning of ATs became martial law as Governments condemned Storm Riders to be thugs, terrorists, thieves and everything in between. Harsh police tactics were used against such gangs. Any owner of an Air Treck belonging to a 'suspicious' member of such a gathering was enough to warrant arrest without parole.
Fed up with such persecution, it was the hubris of Icarus that ultimately devoured the Storm Riders from every corner of the world, fighting back in every way they could. Self-expression turned into violence, ultimately turning the very people who supported them against themselves. Found with no one to support or remotely aid them, Storm Raiders fell one by one, the emblems they once wore proudly the very mark of their shame as they were led away to prisons. The inventor of the Air Trecks and rumoured developer of the Regalia, Dr.Minamoto, was labeled a terrorist and put on the most wanted list of many countries.
Enforcing a strict martial law, Governments everywhere clamped down the wings of the dreamy youth, trapping the young generation with prejudice, presumptions and over exaggerated propaganda...
Or so they thought. In the summer of June 9, 2092, the Tokyo Police department was in for a surprise: a remote Train station was vandalized. Stickers of a 'gang' called "Airheads" or "Noize Tanks" were put on every square inch of walls that wasn't already painted with the quirky emblem of a barking dog with earphones or a Boombox with a gunbarrel on tracks. When such 'graffiti turf battles' incidents became far more widespread, it became obvious that the Storm Riders are once more making a re-appearance.
But what lies in front of them is a battle they cannot turn away from. Ultimately a nightmare to some and a dream world for those who could reach out and grasp it...

I seek:
- A capable Roleplayer, a Literate or Advanced at most. No semi-lits. Self explanatory, I want to put in a good effort and get the same.
- Someone who is mature enough. Why? The original Air Gear series got moved to 1000manga. There will be nudity, blood and far more violence than the original series, so this leads into the next rule. You are dealing with blood thirsty criminals who break people's legs and where Crime is, Prostitution follows. I don't even want to talk to you if the mention of the word 'Whore' makes you go all batshit religious. I don't have time to waste on it.
- This will take place in PMs. Respect rules, I guess.

- Someone with a good knowledge of Air Gear. Knowing about Jet Set Radio Future is a plus, since the RP is largely based off of the following.
- Someone who isn't afraid to double up if needed. I will give open options to the designated roleplayer should one be interested.
- An example or a Link of an example of your Roleplaying ability. I will need to assess the Roleplayer to determine one's Worthiness.
- Someone who will play a cheater, a liar, a bad person in this RP yet knows their limits. I will play a blasphemer who hates religion but I expect the other person to know that I am not what I roleplay as. Not everyone is hunky dory happy in this world, so adding realism to it is my way of saying "This seems fun".
- A great mind. Sure I will be leading the RP this way, that way and possibly convince my partner to follow my lead, but largely, to those I trust, I give them the authority to God Mod and Control my characters at certain times whether it be hastening the plot or advancing it quicker. I have rules on the aforementioned rule of course, but I expect someone to put in some input as well. If I wanted to just do it my way I'd be writing a Fanfiction. But I'm not.
