Hello and welcome to Blakeney Manor. My husband, Sir Percival Blakeney, is out, and will not be joining us today. I do appreciate you taking the time to drop by though. As a social lady of entertainment, it simply does not do for me to sit around so bored and do nothing!

So anyway, let’s get down to the reason we’re here, yes? I love roleplaying. Plain and simple. As a former actress of Le Comédie Française, it is a must that I will entertain and be entertained. To become someone else other than myself is enjoyable. “Why?” you may ask. My answer is this: I am in my element when I am here, where I am free to be someone else that I’m not. My life is very lucrative, but oftentimes, it is good to just escape the real world and let one’s imagination soar through the skies and into the universe.

"So why exactly am I searching for new players?" - The Proposition

Now, I am involved in several roleplays at the present, but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be able to take more on. I am always looking for new and exciting ideas to keep my interest piqued and my writing skills in good shape. However, not every one of the roleplays I’m involved in survive for very long. Perhaps I’ve lost interest, others have lost interest, the creator of the thread has disappeared, or the plot is stagnant. You see my dilemma here? I enjoy long-lasting roleplays, but they must have a decent plot and level of literacy, as stated in the title of the link that led you here.

Group roleplays are interesting in the way they are, but sometimes, things just don’t work out as one expects. Others are usually waiting on a single person to post before moving on, and as stated earlier, maybe that person has disappeared due to one reason or another. This is why I like to have one-on-one RPs here. As a part of a one-on-one RP, you have my direct attention and we have no distractions inside the RP itself. Keep in mind, however, that real life will always be calling, and I won’t be here (although being here is my life, in a sense).

"How do I know you're any good?" - Credentials and qualifications

If you’d like to see my credentials, I can tell you that I’ve been roleplaying since I was twelve and my style has evolved. I’m twenty-one with a thing for my perfectionism of spelling, and adequate-but-not-perfect grammar. I won’t be listing the defunct roleplays that I’ve participated in before because it would be too much of a hassle to backtrack and look for everything, but I can tell you I’ve done Star Wars, Ouran High School Host Club, Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts, and quite a few original roleplays.

Anyway, enough of that. Here's what I'm looking for and I hope someone is willing to be one of my takers.

College: Not just high school, but COLLEGE. High school drama is definitely a minus in my book.

- I like a lot of movies and series, so just give me a title or something before I list out every single thing in my library.
- I'm picky with anime so there are a LOT I'm not familiar with, especially if they were made within the past six or seven years. Just ask me and I'll approve/disapprove it.

"A touch of forewarning..." - Rules of the Game

I’d love to meet and greet with new people. Hopefully we’ll get along. Do remember that I have the right to turn you down if I don’t want to roleplay with you. For the most part, I am on good terms with the people I am involved with, roleplay-wise. In some cases, a few people can be annoying here and there. Other than that, I do my very best to provide you with a decent reply and attitude if you should show me the same courtesy. Unless you’re on my block list, in which some people have been sent that way, so I won’t be talking to you at all.

• I prefer to play females (mainly because I am one and pretty much know how to act like one) but on occasion, I do play males.
• A certain level of maturity is highly appreciated. There are only a small handful of people I can RP with that aren't within my age range (I'm 21 and in college) who I am comfortable with. So you have to prove to me you're literate and well-equipped to not act stupid. I get it, some of us need to be laid-back every once in a while but when you're acting like a child on a daily basis, it's not cool. I'm an adult, for heaven's sakes!
• That being said, please give me an RP sample. No one-liners needed. If you can’t be bothered to write at least one paragraph for your sample, don’t bother posting here.
• If they are needed, we’ll double up as minor background characters to move the storyline. This is usually imperative, so expect it to happen.
• I prefer paragraphs. Whether it's a minimal one or multiple paragraphs, I don't care. Just at least have one decent paragraph per post and I will try to do the same.
• I speak English. I hope you do, too.
• That said, spelling is a must. Sometimes I can't get what people are trying to say and it kind of irritates me.
• Write in a normal, grammatically-correct format
• No begging/trolling/flaming/bashing
• Man up and let me know if you want to DROP the roleplay. Don't just up and quit on me without a word of notice!
• I can change these rules whenever and however I want.
• Like I said before, I'm a college student, so my replies will come whenever they come. HOWEVER, I check back on my threads on the daily, and do my best to write a response.
• I know you're busy, so I fully understand if something is pestering you at the moment preventing you from replying. Don't worry about it. We've all got lives. Just let me know what is going on so I don’t think you fell off the face of the planet.
