So I am new to Menewsha. But I have been rping for about four years on Gaia now. I am still a member there, but decided I need a change of scenery. I've decided to bring some ideas I've tried starting over there to here. I have plot lines for all of them, but if you have any ideas yourself please feel free to share them. I'm looking for a group of eight, four girl characters and four guy characters.

1. Our story takes place in modern day earth. There are four girls and four guys, each with their own unique power. They are all best friends that grew up in the streets together, outcasts of society you could call them. People are afraid of their "gifts". They made a pact to always stick together. During their childhood, a man named Shindou became extremely powerful and controls what people call The Darkness. The world's only hope were these four children, they just didn't know it yet, but Shindou did. He sought to destroy them, but then came up with a better plan. He realized that killing the children would make them realize that they are a threat, bind them together more tightly than they were before. So he decided to take the males away from the females and train them. He offered the males something they couldn't resist, power, a chance to get revenge on those that had tormented them their whole life. By separating the children, Shindou could then take over, with the males on his side, turned into killing heartless machines, he could get rid of the females. Except when he took the males away he didn't reveal this part of the plan. They had no idea that they would be sent out to capture their childhood friends and keep them from ruining their masters plan. A few years had gone by. The Darkness is growing along with Shindou's contorl of the world. The males had completely forgotten about their female companions and were focused on their training and strengthening their powers. The females were left behind in the town where they grew up to fend for themselves. So what happens when the males are finally sent out on their mission to capture the females and bring them back to Shindou's layer? Will the females give in to the darkness and become as ruthless as the males, or will they convince their childhood friends to leave Shindou and the darkness behind? Enemies will be made, others will fall in love. Not to mention Betrayal when two of the girls decide that joining the Darkness carries more hope than fighting it.

2. Addiction. This one word can change lives forever. Whether it be an addiction to drugs, alcohol, or even sex, it's still there. Some can avoid it. Some have the will power to say no. But some are just too weak, the allow their addiction to take over their entire lives. They even find the time during school to get their fix, during lunch, in between classes, under the football stands, in the bathrooms. They've had to get more creative as the school got smarter and picked up on their hiding spots. Well, now it's summer, no rules, no school teachers breathing down your necks, no drug tests... well except for the at home ones, but their parents aren't that smart. This is the story of eight teens. They all know each other, some really well, some just from hearing about them and their addiction. As they got older the addictions got worse and worse.

So what happens when their loved ones, friends and families, decide to volunteer them for a new rehab/reality show? They are going to be shipped off to a beach house and participate in an experiment. Instead of talking to a psychologist, they are going to be slowly but surely cut off. For the first month "supplies" will be delivered every two days by a friend of choice. For the second month they will be delivered once a week by chosen friend. And for the final month, they will only get one supply. For those whose addictions aren't delivered per say, it will be up to the others to cut that person off, the cameras will help. After three months the goal is to have everyone cut off and not relying on their addictions.

3.Ok so here it is! There is this nice and quiet neighborhood called Berlinington. Yes it is a name of a city in Germany, but bear with me here! We're still in America kids. Anyway there is a gigantic house in the middle of the neighborhood that is filled with adopted kids of different ages. The family name is Degeatano. None of them get along well with the others in the house and the neighbors despise them. They are trouble makers and like to cause nothing but havoc for everyone in their path including each other. Since the adults have to go off on a trip to Africa the kids take this as an oppurtunity to do whatever they want. The guys are left in charge, sexist right? Well that's how it goes. Some of them use drugs, others drink themselves unconscious, some try and hurt each other as well as everyone else, while others show love & affection toward one another. Who will you choose to be? Where do you stand in this sick, phsychotic family?

4.Teenage Girl Dead: Body Found By the Train Tracks
A teenage girl, about 16 or 17 years of age, has been found and declared dead by the train tracks on the outskirts of Charleston, South Carolina. According to the ME she has been dead for less than 24 hours. Officials suspect homicide, due to bullet entries in her stomach and a blade induced wound on her throat. Her family has identified her as Charlotte Reese, a student at Charleston High School. Officials are still investigating the crime scene, but suspect that the murder took place somewhere else and that the tracks were just the site where the body was dumped. “There are no leads on who might have murdered this young, innocent girl, but whoever it was will be brought to justice,” according to the police chief in charge of this investigation.

This is the headliner that greeted eight teens one morning. They all knew Charlotte, went to school with her, but they never really talked with her. She was a nice enough girl, it was just no one really took the time to get to know her. They are sad about it at first but eventually they forget about it and go on with their lives with no second thoughts, after all, what happened to poor Charlotte will never happen to them. What they don't know is that the murderer is right there in their little group, preparing to exact revenge on all who did him wrong... including his girlfriend.

Sorry!! Ehehe, ooh, I really like the first one, its more original that I've seen around here, but I always have a hard time on what gender to play, since I can play both~ Do they have any specific powers or can we make them up ourselves?

You can make them up yourselves. I find it more interesting that way since people tend to come up with things I would never think of if i had them be pre-made. And in my experience it's always harder to get people who play guys.

Huh, then if there aren't enough guys I'll be willing to make another one, but usually my guy characters are either the gag characters, just plain stupid, or even extremely girly, so prepare for any of the three, or even all three in one~ xD

haha okay. Oh I forgot to mention I usually post 1-3 paragraphs and would be expecting the same. As well as okay grammar skills and writing in third person.

I can do that, most of the time, if everyone else writes like that, then usually I pick up on it and I may get carried away and write that extra paragraph, =3 Is there a specific skeleton I have to follow to make the profile [though that is pretty obvious...]?

Yeah there will be as soon as I decide to make the thread. I want to get a few more people who are interested before I go and make it.
