Would you like to do some kind of crime frenemies thing... maybe a cop and someone they put behind bars, but still goes to visit? I don't know... something more original than that!

Hmm well I had an old one where it was a convict x gaurd soo kinda friendemy too. Sadly the rp died before any real romance happened. It was a long build to even friendship XD but it was alot of fun!

Hm... That would be very cool too. Esp. If the gaurd was a hard ass. Any kind of prisoner and prison personnel is always HAWT ... OHHHH maybe even a warden!?

That was the reason they went to jail? Like, they started out in an area where polygamy was accepted, then they moved for some reason (bigger space, job, etc) and were arrested for their lifestyle.

Oh yeah, that could work out, but I'm going to have too look up cases in which polygamy was prosecuted because I don't know the typical sentencing for that crime! I like it though.

I think it's twenty years in jail, or something near that. I may be wrong though. XD

Alright, that took a bit of research! The deal with polygamy is that the crime is actually "felony bigamy" in the United States, that is the illegal marriage of a person to another when already in a legal marriage. In the states that consider bigamy a felony crime (about 75% of them, in the rest it's a misdemeanor), this carries a charge of no more than ten and no less than 2 years, plus a big fine. The person that is multiply married ( the man with many wives, the woman with many husbands) is the one charged, not everyone involved.

@Staring.Blackwood: Really? That sounds awesome. Lately, I've been especially interested in womens' prison dynamics. I don't know if you know this but in prison men form gangs, but women form 'families.' It functions in some of the same ways as gangs do but there is a Mother/Father with many children. Anything in there spark an interest?

@Dissociative_Dreamer: Um, frenemies always sounds good but I don't understand how an RP can be based off a song?

Hm...maybe the person got five years, but the wives broke him out?

@Art: That makes me so happy in my deep, kind of fucked up place. It would have had to have taken them awhile to accomplish the break out though, he may have already been in prison for as much as a year? I like that plot!~
