Maybe the prince's bodyguard, who had been practically his best friend his entire life, just recently died in battle and the prince isn't quite over it. So this new bodyguard is hired to take his place, but they don't start off on the right foot at all - partly because the prince isn't happy with the idea of somebody just replacing his best friend. And as time passes, their relationship could start to grow.

That's a good plot. I never would have thought of it. ^^

NomNomCake: Ooh, awesome! So, a plot for this could probably go in a few different directions. I only have vague ideas, so I guess I'll throw one of them at you. Basically, Sam and Dean are dealing with a vampire problem in some small town and one vampire in particular is getting tired of seeing his/her (totally up to you) kind being killed. So he/she takes Dean hostage in an attempt to get the boys to leave town and let the vampires live their lives in that town. And, of course, it'd be interesting since Dean's pretty convinced that there's no good in a vampire and he'd probably do anything to kill yours - while yours would be trying to convince him otherwise. Like I said, it's a pretty vague idea, so we could jump in and wing it or we could build upon it or something. So, yeah, feel free to add, subtract, or tear apart! xD

I was thinking maybe the servant is new and is forbidden to speak to her master, as told by the houskeeper, but when she accidentally talks to him, she's scared but the master actually enjoys talking to her. And then maybe he has to find a wife soon, but he wants to be with her. Something like that? :D
