Salutations fellow RPers of Menewsha. As you can probably tell, I'm looking for more people to roleplay with. It can be a lonely life when you only have one on the go. I was fairly reluctant to create a thread here because I don't really want to be swamped with requests, but after I accidentally killed all the requests threads that interested me, I decided that beggars cannot be choosers. So here I am! Now that the pointless introduction is out of the way, lets get down to business shall we? (: ❥I class myself as a very literate roleplayer. I am by no means a Grammar Nazi, but I do not like RPing with someone who has constant spelling mistakes, can't seem to punctuate their posts, also I absolutely abhor people who don't use capital letters at the start of sentences, for names or for the letter I. So as you can probably tell, I don't find RPing with someone who is not literate, so please, if you know yourself that you're semi, I'd prefer if you didn't put a request in. I'm sorry, and I'm not trying to be mean, it's just that really bugs me. D; ❥I do RP in both first and third person, so that's not a problem. I prefer using third person as it's easier to control multiple characters that way and I just feel that it helps the reader understand what's going on. In RPs I find it irritating when the perspective changes between posts, so before we begin I'd prefer if we decided whether or not we were going for first or third person. (: ❥I play both male and female characters, so that's definitely not a problem for me. Of course I have my preference (male) but that doesn't mean I won't play females. Of course when doubling up I'll play both. ❥I'm incredibly flexible when RPing, so that isn't an issue. If there is something your craving that isn't on my list, then feel free to let me know. I like RPing lots of different things, so you never know what I might be up for. ❥I don't mind romance in an RP, but I prefer there to be more of a plot than just random humping of characters. I love playing MxM romance, though I will play yaoi, yuri and het. ❥I understand that everyone has lives and I'm considerate of why you may or may not be able to post. I expect the same level of respect from you. If I can't go online for a few days I'll let you know. I do tend to get ill quite often, but if I can, I will let you know what's keeping me from replying. ❥If you're getting bored of our RP, just tell me. I can handle it. I'm a big girl with thick skin, so I won't hate you if you want to stop playing. (: ❥I don't really have a maximum or a minimum post length in mind, but I do prefer longer posts over shorter posts. As you can probably tell from the rambly bit of crap that this post has become. xD |
Ideas, Pairings & Plots
This post contains all my ideas, my pairings and my plot ideas. As I said, just because something is not on this list, does not mean I wouldn't want to RP it. All you have to do is ask. If anything has a strike through it, it means that I'm playing that already. I'm not interested in doing the same plot with separate people. Sorry. Also, if anything has a star next to it, it means I am craving that RP. Historic ❥Highland Clearances * ❥Jacobites vs Red Coats (If you're not familiar with the story, I can explain it to you) * ❥WWII (either from British or German perspective) ❥Potato Famine Fantasy ❥Medieval ❥Futuristic Original ❥Post-apocalyptic* ❥Zombie invasion ❥Detective agency (think Monk meets Sherlock Holmes) ❥Amish style ❥NASA (I was thinking Armageddon/Day After Tomorrow sort of thing, shooting up to space to save the world from all sorts of destruction. Just not a giant meteorite) ❥End of the world Pairings ❥Alien & Human ❥Pharaoh & Peasant ❥Assassin & Target Plots ❥Sort of a cross between the 'Y2K Problem' and what people expect to happen on the 21st of December 2012. If you're not really familiar with either of those it's basically just a disintegration of the digital world and the earth at the same time. The RP would start out normally to get us into the story, but soon little things would happen that suggests something isn't right, and then quickly we get into the action and the mayhem that comes with a dying planet. (xD) With no digital assistance, freak weather (picture snow in the Sahara) and unstable ground, the whole planet is quickly brought down into that "every man for himself" mentality. -Post Apocalyptic |

I can RP anywhere from semi-lit all the way to advanced lit. In one good, chunky post I can write anywhere from three to ten paragraphs worth of stuff. Maybe more if I'm feeling super-motivated. I prefer playing males and, in the case of romance, male x male romance, but I'm open to male x female and female x female too. I'm not really in the mood for anything specific, but I do have a big list of pairing ideas, if you'd like me to PM it to you. :heart: Do get back to me if you're interested! |

I think that would be a good idea too, also because when I play characters that are already around as a main, I spend loads of time making sure they're realistic... |

I do that too, hence why I prefer not to xD Would you like to double up? So one of our characters can be a patient and the other a doctor? Best of both worlds. |

My name is Rae, and I'm literate. I only like hetero romance, if it happens at all. My posts can be long or short, depending on the day, though short is at least a 5 sentence paragraph.
I like this apocalyptic world thing. I'd prefer to play a female...as for species, well. I'd love to make her an elf, but I don't know if this would be a good idea or not. Any other ideas? |
