Hey if your interested in the shapeshifter and human, I'm game. Don't really want to do a romance though. Is that alright? What genres might you be thinking of? Steampunk is fun.

Not really. Figured you would want to be the shapeshifter. So I will be the human. It could be set in like Boston or something in the 1800s? Don't have to be historically accurate or anything, it is steampunk after all. Plot ideas... I could be a daughter of a wealthy shipping merchant who ran away from home and is hiding from those trying to find her: good and bad. Started to live my own life... as a... hmmm... Herbalist!

sounds like a good start and yes I would like to be the shapeshifter. We could have it that when she is running away she heads into a old abandond house. Yet inside she finds that there is a big machine being built and my guy could be be building it and using his shapeshifting powers to help. But when he sees her he wonders what she is doing in his house. Yet he makes sure that she doesn't see his powers yet since it freaks out most people and he starts to help her as he builds his machine.
