Doctor Who anyone?
 

Hello all! I'm looking for some people that would possibly be interested in doing a Doctor Who rp.
this would be a new face to the Doctor (i would probably "play" him). and maybe a new face to join him along with one or two old faces. (lol)
i havn't completely thought of an idea yet, but it's slowly coming. so far, i'm thinking it could be one of those missions where he has to save the world from complete distruction (again).

I'd definitely be interested in joining! I'm a huge Doctor Who and Torchwood fanatic!

Can I PLEASE play Captain Jack???? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's my favourite character in the series (besides teh Doctor and closely followed by Amy Pond) and I'd just love to try and capture his character. I don't know how well I'd do but I'd love to give it a shot at least!

When would this take place exactly? Is there a certain time that this would happen when the Doctor regenerated?

I would be interested also! I'm not good at playing canon characters but I'd be willing to try.

You mean what's his name...Matt Smith? David Tennant was FAR better!!!!!!!! (Then again I'm kinda biased since he's technically Scottish and so am I...but that's besides the point!!!!)

The story wasn't good.. -rumors say that the new production company dosn't like Doc Who and made it sh*itty 'cause they want to close the series...-

If they do I think there's gunna be an uproar by fans all over the world. Doctor Who is an obsesion1 The first episode I ever watched was the episode with teh weeping angels (the original episode) and that one freaked me out so much! Then the second episode I ever saw was the episode where Jack came into it :heart: :heart: :heart: :drool: :heart: :heart: :heart: (Yes I was watching them out of order. I just ramdomly saw a doctor who episode was on, turned it on and it was the WW11 episode where Jack came into it. Jack is the BEST!!!!!! New series of Torchwood this year!!!!!!!!!!! Won't be the same without Ianto though...:cry:

In Italy we've to wait next year for teh new Torchwood series
and well I agree with you... One of these days I'd like to watch ALL the DOc Who episodes, from teh first season first episode XD

I read a fanfic once where someone had come up with the idea that when the Doctor regenerated he'd become Spence rReid XD Brilliant idea! Can you imagine it?

And yup I think Spencer could be a great Doc Who regeneration XD

I pretty loved the Arachnos Queen too and Dalek always fascinated me!

Finally someone else who agrees! For some reason a lot of my friends don't like Amy :( She's my favourite ever companion! Of course her actress comes from inverness and that's only about twenty minutes down the road from here so...I may be a TINY bit biased but she's still an awesome character! Not to mention the one that plays Jack is originally Scottish too so......

well Scottish actors are great in my opinion!
Sean Connery, Robbie Coltrane (he's the dwarf in the LoR Company and Hagrid in the HP) and others I don't remember XD

and anyway.. Martha is a great companion too... she and Tennant Doc who were great!
Amy was the principle character in the last season of Doc Who... and I know that she was in the Pompei destruction episode with Tennant and Donna..
Do you remember the young girl, the daughter who had powers and might become one of Sybil priestess? Well she was that one!!

Oh yeah! Martha was great! I'll admit I'm not all that fond of Rose. She's okay but...she annoyed me a little and her relationship with the doctor was more like...I don't know but I know I don't like her much. Donna was okay but Martha and Amy are better.

Seriously? That was her? I didn't realise. I'll need to go back and re-watch it!

Is she the wife of the Doc? Is she another future companion? Why she was in a prison? Who killed?

There are definitely a lot of questions involving River Song. One theory that I heard is taht she's Jack's daughter. According to the fanfiction author she heard that at some point in his life Jack was pregnant (yes he was the pregnant one) and maybe she's that child that he gave up and maybe it's Jack that she kills. I hope not but I want Jack back soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm not sure what to make of River Song yet. We'll just need to wait and see. She has some of my favourite lines in the whole series so far.

Exactly! It makes sense to me. I'l probably wrong but for now that's my theory of who River Song is. Not sure about her connection to the doctor just yet but we'll need to wait and see for that I think.
Have you seen the latest episode that's just been released? The one where they're on a pirate ship adn Amy dresses up as a pirate and grabs a sword to try and help the Doctor and Rory?

Also on note about Dr. River Song she first appeared in a David tenant episode. The one with the Library and the forest shadow things. She whispered something in his ear which prompted him to ask how she knew that name for he never told it to anyone. She also had a future version of his sonic screwdriver. I suspect a potential settling down for the doctor.
