I thought it was *Boot to the head* OWWWW. so I have this big long list over on my request thread and I was thinking maybe.... a gen RP with any Idea we come up with? if your still looking?

Aaah hm.. This does have me thinking. A space Navy story you say? Care to go into more detail? Are you comfortable with fantasy being involved? (although if you think about it a certain way.. Scifi IS fantasy.. lol)

ah Sci-fi as fantasy... yah it does have a blurry line does it not? Pern is Sci-fi but because of the dragons it ends up fantasy.

well lately I have been reading David Webber who is known for his Space Opera Honor Harrington, though I have been reading his young adults. so my thoughts are depending on who plays the Alien (please forgive small spelling mistakes) it could be a first contact story where the captain finds the alien lost in space in a life pod while the captain is out in their own small craft. they bring the alien back to their ship and has to win over their crew and then later would have to win over their navy. all the while trying to make the alien know that they mean no harm to them?

The only problem I find with wanting an alien is that creating 'aliens' is difficult sometimes, so I end up going the way of Star Trek where most aliens look human but with extra bells and whistles, so to speak xD

so have I, I just wanted you to know that I was sorry for my spelling. there are times in the night when I am to tired to really try to spell out the words and so I just throw my hands up and hope that my partners understand. Also I really dont mind human like aliens... if I were playing the Aliens I would be playing a race I created that once were humans... but now are different.

because good RPers are had to find and you have great Ideas. I dont like seeing some one get kicked out when they made a mistake that would have been fine in other places. I also keep getting pinged for one word posts... but then it has not been a mod. the one word rule is that you cant posted on word unless it is in answer to another post, or it pertains to the thread.

Not to be nose-y either of you, but I thought I would just clarify Lunna's point a bit. One word posts are not considered Spam if they are relative to the topic at hand. However, simply posting a smile-y or a single word as a means of bumping a thread is more of a spammy application. We do not frown on bringing your thread up if you post something relevant like "Still Looking" or "Anyone interested?"

Little late on that one.. But thanks for hammering the already deep-set nail in, I guess..?
