Hello, hello, hello! My name is Leigh, and I'm lookin' for a role play. I'm not too strict so long as we're both having a good time, but I do have six guidelines I'd like you to keep in mind:
1. Don't be a jerk. 2. Quality over quantity is lovely, but I'd like at least three sentences per reply; a few paragraphs for an intro. 3. Don't god mode, power play, etc. 4. Be patient. 5. Don't be adverse to doubling. 6. I'd appreciate it if this could be long-term. Bold is super-awesome, and I'll love you forever. <3 However, I won't say no to anything on this list. That's why they're there; I like them. Uhm. Everything's broken up into sections, so this shouldn't be too hard to understand. I also have plots / ideas for some of these, so just ask. If you have anything you'd like to contribute, I'd love to hear it. Sure! I saw your thread up, but you had that other person. I wasn't sure if you wanted anyone else. C: This is probably one of the more under-thought pairings I have up on my list, so I don't have a plot made for it specifically like I do the others. I have a few ideas swimming around in my head depending on what your feelings about what should happen to Amy are, though. We could work on adding more pairings later on.
Out of the past two seasons, The Doctor's Wife is probably my favorite episode. It was absolutely lovely. Haha. That's fine, though. Just means you should come 'round here again when you do watch it. P: Oh. Just remembered. I do have some plots involving: 1. A slightly extended break-down of the TARDIS on Earth. 2. This whole thing where they all accidentally track a fatal disease onto another planet 3. Being slightly out of sync with the rest of the universe (kind of like how Ten hid the TARDIS in The End of Time). They can still see everyone else, touch things and what have you, but no one else can see them. There's more to it, but this is just the gist of it. |
Hmmm well, with Amy I usually change it to where Amy was more of a sister figure to Rory instead of a wife. Although, If you have any ideas on how we should get around him being with Amy, I would love to hear them.
I'll probably try and watch it tonight or something. I'm terrible at the moment, I've got so much stuff to watch and just can never be motivated. From your plots I think the first and the last ones are my favourites, so if you would like to use them then you can chose whichever one you prefer. |
I'd kind of like to keep this closer to canon than completely changing their relationship. They kind of grew on me. Do you have any ideas on how to do that? We could take the slightly angsty road of Rory still loving Amy, but also starting to gain interest in the Doctor. Idk. I've never done this pairing before. It's kind of exciting. xD I apologise for not knowing how to voice what I'm trying to say. If we use the third plot, we could make it so only Rory and the Doctor fall out of sync, so they have to depend on each other more than Amy.
I fleshed it out more for someone else as: Stepping out of the TARDIS one lovely day, absolutely nothing out of the ordinary happens. Which is, in itself, entirely ordinary; it usually takes at least thirty minutes for trouble to kick up. Eventually, they start to realise something's up. A woman runs into Amy, looks at her, and keeps moving without a word. The Doctor starts chatting with one of the shop keepers, only for them to ignore him. Which is odd, because if they don't appreciate the interest, they at least look at him like he's a crazy person. After some investigation, they come to find no one can see them. The people around them can feel them, and they can touch things and whatnot, but no one can see or hear them. Except for some people. About a third of the visible population is getting the same treatment as them. Not seen and not heard. Apparently the rest of the city (planet, etc. Idk) just sees it as people being spirited away. They don't understand those invisible poles they keep running into are their family and friends. Over time, the effects come to be more drastic. Even touching becomes impossible; people are falling out of sync not only with their peers, but with their surroundings, as well. Team TARDIS to the rescue. If you really don't like any of the plots, we can think up some of our own. I don't want to shove them down your throat or anything, haha. I'm a slightly indecisive and unhelpful person, if you didn't notice. Sorry again. D: |

I'm more then happy to have them both together and make it a little more angsty. I haven't done anything like that for a while, so it would be more then enjoyable for me. I do like the third plot, I think we should use it. It's interesting and full of drama, but gives a really good reason why Rory would be further away from Amy. Do you have any characters you would prefer to be? Just because we're going to need The Doctor, Rory and Amy...and of course anyone else that stumbles into it. Poor unsuspecting people! :3 |

Considering I'd probably fail at playing Rory, I'd prefer if I could take the Doctor. I wouldn't mind picking up Amy, either, so you don't have to be the couple. Do you have any other canons you'd like to be? We can add in OC's later if / when needed. |
Umm...I dont' have any other characters that I really need to be in it right now...if we need to put any more in then I'll try and take them, so that you're not doing everything all at once. Also, if you need me to be anyone that you're characters are talking to, like random people, just let me know.
Wasn't sure if you would rather hold conversations with yourself or not. ^_^ I'm more then happy to play Rory. It wont be perfect, but I'll try my best with him. |

There seems to be quite a few Doctor Who related threads popping up on mene lately. I saw yours adn I really couldn't resist taking a peak. I'd be interested to try a Jack/10th Doctor fic. I love the pairing and I can never find enough of it on fanfiction so it'd be nice to Roleplay it although the Master/Jack idea sort of caught my imagination too...hard choice definitely but I like the idea of Jack and The Doctor together. Finally there's someone that can't leave him alone cuz Jack can potentially outlive THe Doctor since he's a fixed point in time. |
I apologise for the late replies-- to both of you. I've been out of town for the past few days. P:
@Amber - I'll start working on that intro, then. Finals are being dumb these next two weeks, though, just to warn you. Summer should be free-sailing. @Mirani - Jack / Ten sounds wonderful. As I mentioned above, finals are these last two weeks of school, but I'd love to plot with you in the mean time. Plots one and two I listed for Amber are still up for consideration, but I also have this: The Doctor doesn't get to Rose in time. The energy eats her from the inside out, and eventually it becomes too much. Of course, sorrow ensues ("If only I had--." and "Rose, Rose, stupid Rose."), but when a recently revived Jack stumbles onto the scene, he's completely out of the loop. Rose is dead; the Doctor is pissed-- a good deal at him for some reason, too, judging from the way the man looks at him, shifts away from contact, but there is a time and place to address that. Right now, they still have a body in the TARDIS (which, as Jack had pointed out testily, had been in the beginning stages of dematerializing when he had flung himself through its doors) to deal with. As if things couldn't get any worse, the Doctor starts to regenerate. He might not have absorbed all of the radiation from Rose, but it is still enough to kill a Time Lord. How does Team TARDIS (now down to two) deal? If you have any plots in mind, I'd love to hear them. |
Hmm...I quite like that idea actually. It would definitely be interesting to see that and it'd definitely be fun to RP when The Doctor first regenerates and Jack's there to watch it happen. Plus that sort of eases my worries. If we set it during Torchwood time then I'd be born between Doctor/Jack and Jack/Ianto (and I'm still recovering from IT).
I'll maybe need to rewatch the episodes to jog my memory a little since I havne't seen it in a while but I think if we start just when Rose dies adn Jack's running for the TARDIS then it'll work brilliantly. No worries about taking a while. I'm going through something similar right now with my highers. I've still got Psychology and Spanish to sit so I'll be a bit busy with taht until next week as wekk so that's not a big deal. So would you like to play The Doctor or Jack? Also will we need to double up character wise? HWat about The Doctor's companions? Will we follow any canon story lines? I'#ve always wondered what would happen if Jack ever met the weeping angels. I mean, they can't exactly kill him by sending him to the past as he can't die or change. That'd certainly be interesting to see. |

Yeah. I cried during COE. So sad. The whole Ianto / Jack thing was handled spectacularly well in those last few episodes. If only it could've been a bit more like that in the rest of the series instead of just throwing it in with the rest of the random sex. I've never played Jack before, but I wouldn't have a problem trying him out. I also wouldn't be adverse to Ten. Whichever you really want to be, I'll take the other. We'll double up later on when we have to interact with people. As far as following canon story lines goes, we can pick out the ones we like and take it from there. The Torchwood thing at Canary Wharf, for example. Well, I like that one. P: Companion-wise, I'd love it if we could eventually get Donna in there. |
-grins- I have a feeling this'll be quite interesting. Maybe later on we could have a few characters 'push' Jack and The Doctor together a bit if they're being a little thick headed (cuz let's face it that's bound to happen at some point). It'll be quite fun. Plus if we do end up doing the thing with Torchwood and Canary Warf it'll be interesting to see what it's like for Jack when we're used to seeing him on Torchwood's side.
Hey we could maybe have them randomly run into Ianto somewhere while they're there since he used to work for Torchwood London! Hmm...is it alright if I play Jack? I think I can play him a little better than The Doctor right now. (probably because of all the Jack/Ianto fanfiction that I read. I'm addicted to it!) |

Hmm...maybe The Doctor should begin. The whole thing with Rose and then trying to run. It's at taht point that Jack will run into the TARDIS just before it can dematerialise and then The Doctor starts regenerating. I think that'll work for the first couple of posts. Are you alright with starting it?
