Introduction:

Hello! My name is Lei Kitten, but please feel free to call me Lei! I am new to Menewsha, but I am not new to writing and roleplaying. I stumbled upon this site and figured it would be a good chance for me to get back into roleplaying once more! And needless to say I am excited and ready to get the creative juices running!

But first a little about me. I just graduated from high school, so I have a bunch of free time. I dance a little, and by dance I mean I learn dances from music videos that consist mainly of dancing and learn those dances to remake the music video. That side project has yet to start, but it's on its way. I love reading books, so if you've read a great book let me know. I love puppies. And I will probably use the blog thing for my characters when I get them in order... and I really love Chinese food. I am getting some after I finish editing this.

My Experience:

I've been writing poetry and short stories since around 2003 and seriously roleplaying since 2006. I've roleplay on Gaia, back in the day when it was a legit site to reside upon. But I have been away from the roleplaying community to pursue dance and spoken word for the better part of this year. But I am back in the game as a roleplayer now. I do consider myself to be literate, to advanced literate. But I claim them to be subjective because I can only give a solid amount based on the amount I am given to work with. I do despise one liners because I can't work with that at all.

Really I am open to anything right now, and this section will be completed later as I remember what things I am interested in. Also, if anything has a strike through it then I have done it quite a bit, and would not want to indulge in it again until other pairings I like have been done.

I will come out and say that I'm not normally one to post in RolePlaying request forums, but I'm getting to be bored with some of the people I write with. Either they are never on, or write in odd ways I can hardly understand.

As you may already see, my name is The Pale Marionette, but shorten it to Pale if you find interest in talking to me. I've been writing since I was seven years of age, and am self-taught by nature.

I examined your post and have been searching for someone open to any kind of writing, not just narrowed down to this or that in particular. If I do say so myself, I seem to meet those requirements you list of what you want others to be able to do. I'm certain I'm friendly, as many people refer to me as. I'm extremely creative, in reference to endless story ideas I come up with right on the spot. I'm very literate, as I hope you see, with an exceptional grasp on the concept of grammar. I always let others know if I'm going away for more than a day, and am always committed to an idea or storyline once it is suggested or proposed. Long-term RPs are always much more interesting, leaving room for quite a bit of change in plot and characters both.

Though if you have made it this far, I will continue by saying I'm rather busy during the weekdays. As an exterminator and private investigator, my days are hardly planned, and I can be called away at the drop of a hat. Half the time evenings consist of sitting in a car waiting for something to happen, so I have a laptop with me to keep up with what may be going on.

I'm always looking for any type of writing, mostly original since I'm not the best with fan-based. Action, adventure, fantasy, mystery, horror, Victorian, alternate universe, etc. The only two I have a bit of trouble with is sci-fi, and romance. Never quite grasped those genres.

So if you are interested at all, I will always be around. PM me, since it's faster that way, and perhaps we can throw ideas around?

Hi there Lei I would be interested in doing a role-play with you. I will do anything. i can play both genders but i warn you some role-plays i prefer to play a certain gender. c:
also i do have a good handle on my grammar and i am on mostly everyday all day due to I am home schooled.

Alright, let me go through your list of requirements:
-Fairly active; some days are better than others, but I usually can get in two or so posts a day

-Very creative (I like playing with situations and character types a lot)

-Unless something happens and I have to go like NOW, I'm very good about noting when I have to go
-Long-term is all I am really interested in; you can't DO anything in a short one

I'm a big fan of playing really off-the-wall characters and personality types (as evident in my posts), and I love fantasy; while I hate the whole "zap! oh I saved the day" sort of magic, I love it when it's being more subtle and mysterious, and very out of control.
I'm not craving anything in particular, but I'm pretty open to ideas. I do like talking a little about the setting first, and format the situation/world of the roleplay before we actually roleplay, since I think that helps tremendously, so you can PM me if you have any ideas of what you'd like to do. =3

Right now, I can't really think of anything. I am pretty drained from a sadly drama filled day, so I will have to come back a bit later after a nap to get a good plot going. Throw out some of your favorite ideas here on the thread where I can find the replies easier. In private messages, well I forget to open them up since I take care of threads first.

Well, after checking out some things on the forum here, I've got a few ideas for situations/pairings like,

- Modern seaside, Human and Siren
- Medieval-Fantasy anything (also like eastern medieval, like Asian or Indian) (I often play humans, but I like matching them up to non-human partners ;))
- Futuristic setting, rogue pilot/pilot-for-hire and alien

Hah hah, so unoriginal... lolz. I usually work with what other people have for a starting point... Does any of that sound appealing to you? Like I said, I normally play male humans, but we can mix it up depending on what we decide. =3

Human and Siren? Now that is something I have yet to do!
That caught my attention quite quickly. And in a modern setting as well, that is quite the twist to Humans and Sirens. I can see something along the lines of some human going out to sea to try and sail across the world in less than eighty days and ends up crash landing on an island where sirens reside.

Yeah... And I'm very good at the stubborn, "I don't believe in that" human type. ;) They are insanely fun to play... Yeah, I saw that as an option somewhere, and I just have this surfer type in mind that would be perfect. =3

Oh mai! That sounds perfect. So how does our littler surfer guy end up on an island with a siren, who strays from the normal actions of a traditional siren?

Mmm... probably trying to find a secluded beach to work on his surfing, only to lose control of his boat? I'd work it out in the intro... not fully sure at the moment ^_^;;

That sounds great then! :3 I am so ready for this rp. And it's perfect o: My free time is starting to build up on me. Tonight and tomorrow the only thing I am doing is looking for jobs/applying to them.

I am going on a vacation on Saturday for a week I think, but I should be able to reply every so often during it (I will have access to a computer =3)... beyond that I do have a good deal of free time this summer. Good luck on the job hunt!

I just woke up and thanks for the wish of luck on my job hunt. It is going okay I am applying to multiple places trying to find a job. Hopefully summer jobs will open up, so that I am able to start making money to get my own laptop .... and a car. Need one of those.

And have fun on your vacation when you go. And reply when you can when you are gone, I am patient. I myself will be on vacation in about a month, for how long I dunno and I don't know if I will have access to a laptop or pc of some sort. I'll let you know when the time comes.

As for the roleplay, I will get right on that within the hour.

I am working on the reply right now. I had to refresh my memory on sirens, and funny enough they are bird women and fish women. -Lawl- It confused me while I ate my breakfast, but now I got it all straight. So I am going to get on that reply.

I'm mostly where I can't have a car anyway, and when I do, I have people to drive me. =P I personally hate/am scared of driving, so... yeah. XD

Yeah, modern versions of sirens differ greatly from Greek ones... lol.

That's pretty awesome. We have wide open spaces. Luckily, my friends are always where I am so I can get a ride, but with them going off to college, I need a car.

Yeah they do. We have fish sirens, they had bird sirens. But either way they were out to kill people

Aw... at my college I couldn't afford a car anyway. The parking is expensive!

I am living at home and the only free 'car' is a truck. I can't afford to fill that up without a job. But my dad said he'd help me pay for one once I got a job and he found a good one that runs and doesn't need butt loads of work. And I have just finish replying to all of my roleplays. :D I am so happy
