So I've never done an Avatar (of the James Cameron persuasion) roleplay before, but I'm intrigued... and if we can cobble together a plot, I'm super-interested in giving it a go if you're still looking!

My first question, then, is if you read the entire first post. I'm always looking for partners.

I would love to try a rp with you. I do believe we've yet to try rping together, correct me if I'm wrong though. I was wondering if you happen to rp Teen Titans, it wasn't on the list, but worth a shot. Also I would like to mention, I'm a full time and working college student, there are times towards the end of the semester, which is in may, that I can just disappear. I do my best to warn people, and sometime I may take a little break if all overwhelms me, or if I like you I just get stuck on a post. Wanted to warn you of this, encase you'd rather not deal with me if I get in one of those moods.

Well for a Teen Titans rp, for once I'm not looking for Raven/Robin. I'm looking for someone to play Robin to an oc, I really want to use again. Though if you'd rather not do a Teen Titans rp, I would so love a Avatar: The Last Airbender rp.

Rei Ann: you did, but the fact that you knew that's what I was asking for makes up for it.

So.

I'm not all that confident in my ability to play a good Robin, sadly. He's a rather intense, obsessive character, which isn't quite within my skill set. However, an A:tLA rp isn't out of the question. What did you have in mind?

Damn you Robin, why you gotta be so complex. I'm sorry for missing the word, I read it twice and saw nothing. I'm sorry, the computer at work, sucks, it's hard for me to read on this screen. Forgive the Rei. Damn, I just had to reread it to find it, and it took me forever to find it. YOU WILL NOT RUE THIS DAY! Hope that doesn't come out to horrible bright on my end. I found it and won the quest. Anyways, well I'm an avid Zutara fan, I sort of have an idea, but it always make Aang look like a bad guy and less completely upset, but they are in war and sometimes in war sacrifices have to be made. I do have other Zutara plots as well. Before I jump into those plots, I wanna make sure your find with Zutara. We can double, so I don't hog being a girl and force you to be only a guy.

Anyways. I can do Zutara, if you want. I also sort of had an idea for OCs, too, almost kind of an AU sort of thing, if you want to hear about it. OCs are always fun because then we don't have to worry about keeping anyone in-character.

MagelingI tired an OC rp once, for Avatar didn't like it. I refer to the Airbender one as Avatar. The other one is the blue cat people. I'm an odd ball. Yay, Zutara<3. Well this one would give us a little bendablitiy[not a real word, I guess.] with the characters. So wanna here the first plot idea? I was inspired by how Katara acted towards Zuko in the last season.

Rei Ann: How weird, I'm not getting pings... Anyways, maybe the OC one just wasn't done right? Depending on what ideas you have, I might still be leaning towards OCs, but let's hear your ideas first.

So I was thinking, it takes place around season 3/4 before Zuko leaves. Aang is looking for a fire bender teacher in the fire nation, and the group been pretty good at staying undercover. Then one town there were at is attacked by fire nation slave traders. Both boys rush in to stop the men, and the girls try to help. Eventually the team is overpowered. This results in all of them being captured, and the man looking to maybe get revenge on the fire nation, or something. Tells Aang he'll let them go, if he can keep Katara. At first Aang refuses, but then starts to realize this is the only way he can save the world. So he agrees, and the rest are let go. Not knowing everything.

Katara is taunted by the owner, and they start to train her to be a good servant/slave. Katara rebels and get beaten a lot, eventually she becomes hateful, and dark. Much like when Zuko betrayed her, and this is spurned on by the owner trying to crush her, by telling her that her friends sold her away from their freedom. Something inside her snaps, and Katara decides she'll make Aang pay. So when the full moon rolls around she uses blood bending to escape. Which she runs into Zuko and his group. Now I'm not sure what to do from their. I figure they can accept her and Azula wants to use this to their advantage to destroy Aang, and their group. Zuko could be on board and then could do whatever you wish.

Now I know this might be hard since it's Aang, but I couldn't see Sokka selling off his sister for anything. Plus, it is war time, so I wanted to use this to give a little more harsh reality to the Avatar world. He would feel terrible about it, and plans to get the other too safety, and then to turn around and save Katara.

Alright, I'm not entirely sure I like the idea, to be honest. I can't see Aang selling Katara off, either, he's just too nice. It would go against everything he believes in to sell off his best friend/crush to slavers, even if it is to save the world. He gave up the Avatar State for her, remember. And Zuko is too paranoid to really believe that Katara would turn on Aang and them, and if he did accept it, he would be a bit paranoid that she could just as easily turn on THEM. It wouldn't be much of a problem, one waterbender against Zuko and 'Ozai's Angels,' but it still seems a bit far-fetched.

I'm not saying your idea is bad. I just think there are a few too many holes in it.

Well I don't think Zuko would either, but I could see Azula planning to use the girl to lure Aang, to play along with Katara's "change" to stop the Avatar, and I could see Zuko staying, to snap Katara back into reality and get her to go back to Aang.

As for Aang, they could have been told Katara was sent away already, and that could be why they left. Then the guy could have lied to her. I could see him doing this, because knowing the Avatar was alive and releasing him would give him power over royalty he could try to blackmail Zuko.

It would be plausible in Zuko's case, but I still wouldn't buy that Aang would just leave. He spent almost an entire season actively looking for Appa when the bison went missing. Even when he was pulled off of his search, he still tried to look as best as he could. So I don't believe that Aang would just accept that Katara is gone and keep going. It just doesn't seem like Aang. And even if Aang did, Sokka wouldn't. Katara is his baby sister, he would do everything to find her, in spite of his habit of overreacting to everything.

Do you know of Young Justice?

Nightmare Of Dreamz: I know of it, but I'm not familiar with it at all. I only have a vague idea of it.

But it would change what the Avatar group would do. I figure the wouldn't expect them to believe the man's word right off the bat, but he provides them with papers, manages to trick Toph into thinking he told the truth, and lets them know where she was sent. So they are heading to that place to get her. I guess it might help if I said that. XD So when they learn they were tricked it when the see a very angry Katara again, that girl doesn't take betrayal well. I think I like the edit to the original idea a lot more.
