I'm not sure I understand what you're talking about.

Wow.. yeah, re-reading that was grossly confusing. Sorry about that!

I was thinking about if we added a mechanic to the digital world that when digimon were too close to something that is being deleted by the self destruct feature they might malfunction similar to the way that programs malfunction when files go missing from them or if you keep magnets too close to computer hardware, etc. It would simply add to the danger element of their adventures if our characters came upon some crazed digimon-- but it could also give them some direction. There would clearly be some way to 'cure' this madness, though I am not sure what that might be at the moment. Basically it's a mimic of the black gears of the first season except instead of being controlled by Devimon they would simply be insane.

I'm not terribly interested in making this an action-centric, battle-laden adventure RP so don't let that worry you if you're a big fan of content!

maidenroseheart: Yup, I know. I've been pondering it. I had a couple of ideas, but none of them felt all that feasible. I've done a few before where we dropped characters into a world without modern technology, but they kind of fizzled. I kind of like the idea of a modern fantasy, since it offers more challenges in some areas. I'm just not sure what else to do.

Mythos; I like the idea of using something similar to the black gears. A villain who thinks that those without magic abilities are meant to serve those who can perhaps? So he would go about destroying governments or different local authorities in an attempt to set up conditions in which people will turn to him for help. Just a random idea. Just brainstorming.

I might suggest that we start this on the 18th- I will be travelling between the 8th and 15th and visiting from then on until the 17th and will need an additional day to get settled back in before I could get started on an RP. Hopefully this isn't a problem? : )

I think I can post once every two days. It really depends what I have to work with and whether I will be able to further the conversation/situation with something worthwhile to read. Sometimes my creativity is low, but I always try to get something interesting in. If no one's gonna pressure me to write a certain length, then I can post several times a day, if you're online same time as I am.
