So, I'm having a hard time finding Roleplay's that aren't entirely about romance and things like that. If you know any good ones or have an idea you would like to start with me, please post links etc here =3

Now, I don't have anything against a little romance, but I'd really like to do a roleplay that's got other stuff in it too

I've been in non-romance RPs before. They were usually group RPs though. I wouldn't mind doing a one on one non-romance RP with you.

I'm good with both group and one on one, though when I do one on one, it's usually with each person taking the roles of multiple characthers ^.^

do you have an idea for starting one? all the rps i've seen in the mene forums seem to either be romance or school based and I don't want to do either of those DX

I used to sometimes play as multiple characters XD
It really depended on what the RP called for though.

Man, I can't remember the last time I did a school based RP. I used to RP on a site where most of the people were adults (I was one of the youngest there) so no one did school RPs. Anyway, I like fantasy based RPs, medievil or modern, and if I knew what kind of RPs you liked, I'd be able to come up with some ideas. I'm usually very good at coming up with RP ideas ^^

I like fantasy, sci-fi, paranormal, or haunted house kinda things and the lot =D

I've actually already come up with one idea. It's about people that can shape-shift into animals. Does that sound interesting? There's more to it if you'd like to hear it ^^

A modern setting would work best for it but it could also work in an older setting but the plot would have to be altered a little. It's about a person in their mid or late teens who has the ability to shape-shift into animals. He/she has always kept it a secret and has never met another person with this ability until late one evening when he/she is walking home from a friend's house. This person goes down an alley way for a shortcut and startles a dog and is attacked but before the dog can actually hurt this person, another dog appears and chases it off then the dog that just showed up transforms into a person (someone in their thirties or late twenties) and the teen learns that he/she isn't the only one of his/her kind and asks this older person to be his/her teacher and teach him/her about shape-shifting. And it pretty much goes on from there.

I think it would be best if you played the teen and I played the other person. Mostly because I like RPing as people much older than myself :D
Also, since it's your character, you can pick any gender you want but I'm assuming you'll create a female because your avatar is a girl ^^"
And my character would be a guy but if you prefer, I'll RP a woman. I don't mind. In fact, on one site, my favourite character to RP was this thirty one year old female pub owner. Man, I loved her XD

I was also thinking that maybe your character could come from a broken home. Maybe her parents are divorced and ignore her or something along those lines and she comes to see the older character as a type of parent figure. I always thought stories like that were kind of sweet but you don't really get many stories like that TT-TT

I kinda like the idea of describing how they look. I first go into roleplaying so that I could practice writing for my stories and I think something like that would help me ^^

I have this idea that might work for you. Its one that I have tried starting with a bunch of other people but they all tend to just die.

A girl, a dragon, and some space travel

A teenage girl finds herself along on her plant. She does know now but time doesn't pass her. It stays the same in a forever night. She has to survive this for most...okay forever. One day when she found a treat, an apple barely hanging onto a dying tree she sees this blinding light. At first she doesn't know what it is so after getting her apple she runs down the broken paths of the town to where they landed in a valley. She stands on a low cliff and stares as actual people walk out of the ship. Her eyes widen in disbelief and she doesn't know what to do. She wonders if they see if, if they'll save her from this place of fighting hunger, and mutant animals to survive. She sees that one, a tall teenager, spots her and she goes to speak but finds that no words come out, and her body goes limps as she passes out. Her body falls form the cliff and he somehow manages to catch her. He wonders where this girl came from and why she's living on this planet that's been deserted for over three thousand years. He decided to take her back to his ship and get back on the stars so they can make it in time before he has his dragon race.

This is an rp with dragon's, space travel and a strange girl that didn't seem to grow for three thousand years.
