I just... wow, I am so sorry, Poppet. If she was your daughter's best friend's mother, she can't be really old and you probably knew her quite well... I am sorry, my condolence to you, her friends and her family, even though a stranger's words they will never know might not mean anything, but I really mean it.

I will be still here, too, whenever you want to come back and write. There can never be too much time spent with your loved ones (until it gets on your nerves, then you need a small break for yourself). Thanks a lot you guys, I really appreciate the support. She was about 20 years older than me I believe. I just can't wrap my mind around it. We were just eating dinner with her and her family two nights ago. She was just dancing with her daughter at my sister-in-law's wedding last night, hours before she died. I can't handle it really. I'm half in shock and mostly just sick, physically. My heart is completely broken for those children. I can't even begin to fathom how much pain my own daughter would go through if something happened to me.

I'm so tired, but I can't sleep. I don't want to sleep at all. She passed in her sleep because of a brain aneurism. Here one minute, healthy, happy, with plans to go to your daughter's dance recital, and poof. Just like that. No warning whatsoever. I can't believe it.

That's absolutely heartbreaking. Death of someone close can be a startling thing but after you process your feelings about it, you have to live the rest of your life to the fullest. That's what they would want for you to do, alive or not. But don't go forward in fear. Go forward with hope and determination for tomorrow and everyday after that. The hard times are there to teach us and make us stronger. Be encouraged and celebrate her life by enriching your own and your daughter's, and if you can or feel called to do so enrich her kids' lives too in your own special way. Hopefully this helps but this is just an opinion.

I lost my father when I was barely three and I know what a damn big hole losing a parent leaves in life, hole you don't even know what should be filling it. So, I am truly, sincerely sorry about what her children and husband, and rest of family is going and will be going through.

And this sickness, it really creeps on you, and strikes unexpectedly, but there are ways to discover it early and then it can be treated, but it's probably quite expensive. If you really feel disturbed by this thought though, it would be worth investigating perhaps.

I'm sorry if I'm poking my nose into your business, it is not my intention, I just say what I can say and there is so little, practically nothing to say at these moments. I don't really want to make it more sad and depressing as it is either (in case it is in my power), by rambling on about it, so I will just shut up.

[yes] The information is all in that link though. Of course, we could tailor it a lot more if it was a one on one.

I prefer one/one, everytime i start a group roleplay it dies out. Literally every time. My last one about a few months ago died after three or four days.

That's how they go, sadly. That's the only thing I hate about group role-plays. It's such a hassle getting everyone on the same page, and then multiple people always end up flaking out or not posting for days and days at a time.

So, what are your thoughts on the idea then?

About the scooby doo dark idea, I'm not sure. I know I like it and wanted- Probably something where we both could control a character or so. We're making our own characters? Or using canons?

Great! Well what characters do you have in mind? I'm not usually up for playing males, but since this one has four main characters, I'll certainly make an exception if you prefer it that way.

I was thinking we'd have:
The leader and trap extraordinaire - male
The smart nerdy one who deciphers clues - male or female
The cowardly one with the pet - male or female
And of course, the ditsy one who's always in trouble - female

Doesn't matter, to tell you the truth I can play either male or female, however, playing guys is easier for me. But we can do this however you wish.

They sound fine to me. You pick your characters and I can play the others. I have quite a range of different old OCs for random stories that involve different personalities. So its not too hard to pick a personality and go with things.

Hmm. Well if guys are easier for you then you can play them both. *shrugs* I'm not a big fan of having male main characters these days. So that really works out. Of course, I'll play male side characters, like the girls' dad's, friends, and villains, no problem.
