Thank you very much! I do like to entertain others with my work, especially outsiders beyond the RP my friend and I are doing at whatever time.
Yes, he is. I can't draw to save my life and because of this I like to have... artistic characters. Because if I could I'd be a graphic novelist, I just lack the ability. And he just interested me the most in the end, I can't really pinpoint why.
Ooh? No problem, I get just the same when I'm watching or catching up with a show~!

that's funny. I'm an artist and it's very rare for my characters to have an artistic bend. I only have one character who does art like I do. Other art characters are something like photography. >.>
cool. But my vid isn't loading so I'm back.
So uh....what do we need to discuss to start the rp? I don't normally start with a pre-made character so I'm a wee bit at a lose.

Heh, maybe it's a fantasy-like thing? Living through one's characters, in a way, sometimes...
Aw... That's a true frustration of the computerized age....
Hm... I suppose the worldly plot? Like, what keeps the story going? Or is it a series of small stories in one big, rounded main plot? I do like those... And a mutual understanding of how and where to begin?

probably. But that would explain why I have lots of characters that work with computers. I can code...and I hate it. I think I just feel weird making characters too like me.
indeed.
How about we start with how the story starts. We can figure out some ploty stuff out of that I think. I dunno. I don't often flesh out more than a vague premise before I start.

Ooh, computers are my weakness... I can't understand a thing about them so I'd rather die than make a character even relatively understanding of technology.... on a more specific scale, that is.
Sure, that seems pretty accurate a place to start. I suppose I've just not had an RP without fantasy, future-based, or some form of element beyond real-world in so long it's kind of hard to keep it that way. Will be a good... change for me, I suppose?

yeah, I go to an art school so I don't have to do smart math and computery things like my brothers and most of my friends.
haha. I won't shank you if fantasy develops in the story later, but we can start nice and real world. Hm. Now how do two characters like ours meet? seems they would run in very different circles. I don't think I'm being very helpful coming up with stuff.

Oh? No wonder I love your art as much as I do (saw DA)~! My household all has a very specific skillset when it comes to house upkeep and maintenance, it seems...
Nooo, no shanking thank you! Fantasy is nice sometimes, isn't it? Kind of... finicky, though, depending on how much or how little you want in a story. A nice, normal and real world seems perfect, though.
Meetings... They're always so difficult sometimes, aren't they? How about... well, I guess it depends! There are two manners to meet, in my opinion, and I shall lay them out:
First, Shin, if I'm not mistaken, is a... a trainee in a KPop band? I think I read that right when I read it... Perhaps my character is conned by a couple obsessive friends to go see the band play, and kind of stumbles into your character sometime later...
OR! My character has just published his first book, finally. He's at a big Q&A at the bookstore since it's doing so well, and your character decides to drop by....
Two plausible courses of action, to bring two of very different circles together.

^///^ aw, I always appreciate love for my art.
Fantasy is great, but it seems I'm a bit dumb with it sometimes and lack creativity. That's why I do real world so much.
both of those seem like good plans. The only other ways I can think of that they meet is in a bar, or something like the bus if they take the same route somewhere every day. Hm...so many choices.

Well it's very good art. I actually hope to see an art shop from you sometime soon!
Aw... *hugs* It's okay. I'm quite fantasy-oriented so I could come up with just about anything as need be! I'm like a well of every idea, ever...
Hm... The bus..? I'd say I could see my guy (named Char, by the way, because I have no idea why...) taking the bus sometimes... since he's just getting a taste of fame for his new stories and doesn't even have a car yet... The only spot left on the bus, one has to sit by the other and probably feels obligated to speak... Oh, and after that they actually meet again at one of those other two situations?

Well, there is one coming actually...sorta. I have a freebie shop for now, but after I make Seito her freebie, I plan to use that as the example for a bribe only shop.
well of ideas? That's cool! Put the two of us together and we'd have all the real world and non ideas ever to exist!
Sounds like a marvelous idea! It's like fate. They can keep meeting randomly until the want to actually meet each other and start going out of their way to or something.

Ah, I saw that. I also saw that you were going to open a shop and was kind of... lurking. More. Than I normally do...
Oh, we'd be like an ocean! No well could hold our ideas...
I do love the concept of fate. Or dumb luck as a few characters of mine would call it. Eventually intrigue would become so inescapably curious they'd have to go out of their way to meet somehow, perhaps without actually admitting that they are.

that sounds about right. Because why would they ever admit that they were purposely trying to meet. I think this shall be fun. Anything else that needs discussing?

Oh, I've waited six months for a single drawing once, don't worry. I'm a very dedicated stalker----I mean, lurker.
They are, aren't they? Love oceans. Especially idea oceans~!
Hehe... Char is definitely not the kind to admit such a thing! Too stubborn in that regard. Shall be fun indeed---I've not used this guy in a long, long time.. And I have a picture of him at last!
Hm... Nothing beyond the more universal plot, the one that encompasses the smaller ones, which can be saved for later as you said. I'm pretty ready, myself~!

What sort of universal plot can we use? o.o Anyway, I say we get this thing started tonight. Want to just start by posting char. profiles?

Aw. I love real oceans. So beautiful...
Hee... Sounds like it'll be fun~
Hm... Well, I guess it could be decided upon after beginnings are put in stone. It's what the whole RP would feed off, I'm sure. Or one of several massive plot roller coasters! Maybe...?
And I don't mind, I go with whatever the other person likes to start with. Shall I begin a thread, or would you like to?
*Also, I'm horrible at naming RPs or stories in general beforehand, so you know*

I'm a cat through and through. water is not my friend. I think I live in a desert for a reason. Mountains and dry land as far as the eye can see!!
sure, we can keep talking after we start it up and figure something out. a roller coaster of plot sounds fun though.
I can start it real quick and I think I can come up with a title too! I'm good at titles as long as they're allowed to be cheesy.

Okay, one of those computers was about... Oh, thirteen years old. And the other was so buggy it deserved to be thrown off the balcony.... I've said too much I think...
Aw. I used to live in the woods in the states, in a cabin built right on a little pond. Sure it stole my shoes once, but I loved that pond...Although if one climbs onto the topmost roof of this house, you can see the ocean over the trees...
Oh, of course! Talking leads to ideas which leads to more ideas which leads to a massive RP that goes on for ages.... And I love long-winded RPs...
Hah... Cheesy isn't so bad! It used to be popular, that's why it's cheesy now~!

wow. The longest I've had a computer is the mac I have now and I've had it for 2 years? I only got my first computer when I started college. That first one was a bitch though. I named her Eris after the goddess of chaos. She became my lil brother's after it needed to be reset like a day before school started. Had to buy a new one on the spot.
that actually sounds like an amazing cabin. I haven't ever been to a place like that. Only cabin I've stayed in is in the mountains.
haha. I like mine long winded too. It's sad when something dies before its time.

Well it was an old thing I got from my parents after moving out. GOD I hated it... I just called it Bastard... Pretty self-explanatory name there, I'd think!
Indeed... I loved that place, though I like moving around so much now I can't really see myself going back there... ever, really.
I know, it really is... There is a particular RP that I used to do on a friend's account that had absolutely amazing potential, so much written every post, such intricate characteristics and backstory.... But she had to go. And I wish I could go back there and continue writing. Kind of makes me sad to think about, know?
Ooh, I must go put up my post now!

yes, that is self explanatory. very.
it must be nice to travel. I don't get a chance to anymore since my dad prefers vacations that don't involve toting his children around the world like our vacations were when I was a kid.
I totally understand. I sometimes want to cry over the death of an rp, especially if I loved my character and I thought it would go far. But I also want to cry when a story properly finds it's ending and has to close because it's so sad to see it go.

Oh, quite nice. We've been from Alaska to Mexico and now we're in Peru. We don't have any intentions on moving again for at least another year since it's so hard to get accustomed to different time zones...
Aaah, I know... I try not to think of the true end of an RP because I don't like to think of the end, but what's going on right now. And sometimes when it ends, it could always have a 'part two'. I like to think that way...

Yes, that part two thing. I've done it before! part 2 died almost immediately. I think the only other rp I really ended was a short story to explain the past lives of our characters in another story because they had died tragically and been reborn.

I was born in Italy. Lived there a few years before my parents and some immediate family moved to Ohio for some very, very strange reason...
Aww, really? That's sad to know... Seems that a part two would be just as loved---if not more loved---than part one! I'd think so anyway...
