Exactly! Our game's setting would be almost identical to Final Fantasy as far as the look of things and how technology goes. But instead of things being powered by a magical mist, they would be powered by steam. ^_^ So there are airships, steam trains, galleon ships (like this), etc. However some magic would exist so if you like your character could have powers. The fantasy element also comes in because there would be more races than just human. Also it allows for man eating plants, giant spiders, and all that fun stuff.

Hmm, I don't really have anything else. Is there anything you'd like to discuss or anything you want me to keep in mind?

cool cool. I can deal that. Sounds like your description is specific to FF9? >.> That's the game I know best. I don't remember the myst being in any other game after all.

eh...surprisingly, I don't have much else to say. Usually I'd have a lot of questions but today I don't. Will we do character profiles or just jump in?

Exactly. It would be like a mix of FF9 (one of my favorites) and FF12 (my other favorite XD). While myst was only in 9, nethicite gave off a myst-like substance as well in 12 if I remember right...Fran the Viera went haywire whenever she sensed it around. If you haven't played 12, then two things. 1) I never mentioned nethicite or viera sensitivity to it. [ninja] 2) It's pretty fun and I recommend it.

I like doing character profiles. I'm actually working on the mechanic's right now and will put it in the first post. :3

I tried to play 12, but I got stuck (more like epicly lost) in the very beginning. I've never finished a game and mostly just watch my brother's play.

Goodness, if only I could! XD Finding the right pictures and working out their backstories takes me a while. Sometimes I "interview" my characters in my imagination as I'm creating them. It's a weird trick I learned at a creative writing event.

I learned that trick from memes but also in creative writing classes. Normally I don't do all of that for a character though. I close my eyes and picture a person and a personality starts to come with it. Depends on if its for a story or rp and what kind of rp though.

I really like the HumanXMonster idea. It sounds like it would be rather interesting in all honesty....

This is a really, really good plot! I really enjoy this one and not many want to rp it.... If you're interested maybe we could twist it a little and one of them is a monster disguised as a human and ends up being a room mate through a mutual friend (because the other needs an apartment but doesn't have the money to live alone and vice versa)?

I'm fine with playing either so whichever you would prefer ^-^ I can also play both male and female so any prefrence is really fine with me.

We are both very unpicky XD Would you like it to just be a scary monster, one that preys on humans, or just something other than human? That would help me in my choice XD

should be something monstrous to some degree. Doesn't have to be something out of a nightmare though. XD Should be something that the other character could call a monster though.

I have a character named Keira... she is kind of a dragonoid. She can take on human form and her wings and tail turn into tattoos...

ah...I'm kind of sick of dragons right now. ^^' I was writing them a lot in my last short story. Although if I were writing a monster for this, I wouldn't probably go straight to dragons as well. ^^;;; Ah really, what am I saying?

I have a "demon fox" and a "Demon butterfly"....
The butterfly is an original character for a story, but she's pretty cool.

The demon inside of her is a butterfly but it feeds off of souls and blood... she looks completely normal but she wears a mask (like kakashi from naruto) because her teeth are like a sharks but not crooked XD
