Cool, we'll do the other plot then :3 I think Seventeen did that pre-and-post debut thing, and also NCT?
How about we write the whole group equally? I think there'd be quite some scope there. The group could be small, so we could play 2-3 characters each.

Kat Dakuu 05-10-2017 01:44 PM

Cool cool. So we'll do a five member group?

I figure they can be a start up group at a new company so they have to forge their way from the very bottom and do all the promotion things with no stops. I think the way I did it before was some of the group had already been training together for a while, while slowly preparing for a debut. A couple of the members joined right at the end, which is where we started the story. That way, you can still have a little of that meeting and greeting stuff that works at the beginning of the rp instead of everyone having already trained together for years as is usual in kpop.

hanahaki disease 05-12-2017 03:18 AM

Coolio! That'll be much more fun that having them be a rookie group at a big shot company haha. So should we each play one member that joins right at the end? As for the rest of the group, do you want to play two characters or three?

Kat Dakuu 05-12-2017 01:17 PM

Yeah, that's the idea. Well, I already have quite a few idol characters created so I would be happy to write three unless you really want to. And we should definitely use profiles since some of the characters should already know each other some.

hanahaki disease 05-12-2017 04:07 PM

Cool ^^ what will the profile skeletons look like? Name, age, appearance, role (like vocal, lead dancer etc.), personality, should we include relationships (with the other members) or something?

Kat Dakuu 05-12-2017 05:57 PM

That all sounds good. If we want to figure out some relationships beforehand we can. I think we need a quirks or extra section so we can say all those things other characters would notice but aren't necessarily going to fit in a personality section.

Hello Kat Dakuu: !

I think I have an idea mixing unrequited love, exotic dancer/customer and cupid/human, if you're interested in hearing it? I can totally provide prompt-based writing samples if you require it, as well.

Kat Dakuu 05-22-2017 05:08 PM

Hey there! oooh, that sounds really interesting. I've mixed exotic dancer with guardian angel plots before, but not cupid. That sounds like fun. Tell me this plot of yours!

Heard 05-22-2017 05:22 PM

Kat Dakuu: Of course, I'd be glad to! :D

A cupid is a being with unusual characteristics, made by Love for Love's sake. You see, as their only reason of being is to create happy couples, a cupid has an ingrained predisposition to fall in love with loveless humans, the love they feel along with the knowledge they gain though their intense interest bringing them to being in the best position possible to be a matchmaker. The downside of this is that they do fall in love, deeply so, and yet are forced by their very nature to let the one they love go to another; someone worthy of their true love. Fate is not so cruel, however, as to force a cupid to stay in love for too long - as long as they complete their match successfully, they will lose all memories of ever being in love in the first place. As a result, most cupids have a difficult relationship with love, despite being deeply attracted to the idea of falling for someone. Love is both a necessary nourishment and a deeply upsetting drug.

For the plot itself:

My character (cupid-customer-serial crusher) was in 'Need of Love', aka they (their gender can be male or female depending on how I end up creating them) feel the urge to find a new 'protege' asap. That's why they go to one of the places with a good chance of having desperate singles; a bar with exotic dancers. There, they see your character and, following the next week or so, form a 'proper' infatuation. From there it would largely depend on how our character end up and how they mix as my cupid try to find your dancer a significant other while simultaneously falling in love.

What do you think?

Kat Dakuu 05-22-2017 06:00 PM

That sounds very interesting indeed. What sort of orientation do you like to write? I have a dancer character who is male that I've used before, but I can also do something different if that doesn't jive with you.

I'm up for any kind, so there's no problem is a MxM, if that's what you'll prefer?

Kat Dakuu 05-22-2017 06:52 PM

Cool cool. Yeah, I think mxm would work well for this plot, so we'll go with that. Anything else we need to discuss before we start? Do you like profiles?

Heard 05-22-2017 07:46 PM

I do like them! As far as anything else goes, I can't think of anything at the moment.

Kat Dakuu 05-22-2017 08:02 PM

Cool. I can start it then and I'll ping you to it when I'm done.

Heard 05-22-2017 08:20 PM

Thank you, see you then!

Kat Dakuu 09-22-2017 07:19 PM

I'm looking to start one, maybe two new rps.

Dakota 09-24-2017 10:31 PM

I would love to start an Rp. I was thinking that I really like the idea of widower/flirt, and I also like the addict/addict, and arranged marriage. I have also thought that something like Mental patient/ doctor could be fun as well. if you are interested in rping with me just let me know.

Kat Dakuu 09-24-2017 10:35 PM

Hey there. I'd be most interested in doing the widower/flirt pairing right now. I'm pretty flexible as far as things go. Is there a particular role that you would like to play?

Dakota 09-24-2017 11:47 PM

I'm good with either. although i have experienced quite a bit of loss and might be able to portray a pretty good widower.

Kat Dakuu 09-25-2017 12:32 AM

That's fine with me if you want to play the widower. I'd probably prefer to play a flirty type. Do you write m/m? I can imagine the story working really well that way because it would be like flirting so pointlessly, knowing you would never get the straight man who lost his wife or....well, I imagine it would work just as well with a divorced individual as well.

Dakota 09-25-2017 02:24 AM

I honestly have never tried doing MxM but i'm not opposed to it. i could give it a shot. although i do have to say my male characters arent always the best. it could be that he doesn't know that he might like guys. and so it puts a bit of a obsticle in the way.

Disciple 09-25-2017 04:48 AM

@Kat Dakuu If you're still looking, I'm interested in the assassin/plant creature story.
I normally play male roles, but if you prefer it be m/f I can play female.

Kat Dakuu 09-25-2017 05:19 PM

Dakota: Okay, that works for me. I love obstacles. Are you thinking an office type setting, coworkers and all. Or maybe something more exotic? I figure they've got to be people that interact on a daily basis.

Disciple: I'm definitely up for that. I'd most prefer m/m unless you're adverse to it. If you want to play a male, that might be best. Are you up to play the plant creature?

Disciple 09-25-2017 06:06 PM

Hell yeah! Never really played a plant creature, but whilst I waited your response I was getting a profile of it together.
Even got a language for him ha ha ha.
