Dang, this is gonna be a hard decision.... How much of YYH do you know because I kind of stopped after the Dark Tournament Arc. I know bits and pieces of what happens after that, but I haven't gotten around to watching it. I've read and watched Pretear though so I'm quite knowledgeable about that anime.

I stopped watching about the same time =p Though by next gen, I meant kids of the originals, so I don't think it matters much?

I know it was kids of the originals, but you could have paired up Hiei or Kurama with some character I have no idea of. (Like this Mukuro chick who apparently everyone loves to pair up with Hiei in all the fanfiction I've been reading)

Sadly not, it's been so long any idea I might have had has now been forgotten.

Let's do YYH first! We'll see what happens and if it ends up dying (I hope not) we'll go to Pretear!! And we'll go with the normal plot of the children being the new Spirit Detectives! Though we have to figure out a few enemies. And we'll lead the plot to another Dark Tournament since we both know how that goes.

Sounds good to me. Could always have their parents kidnapped or something, this forces Koenma to remake the spirit detectives with the kids. They are then forced to join the tournament and win to get their parents back?
