A Monster RP
 

Hello. I would like to see if anyone would like to participate in a monster RP. Below are the details. :)

All monsters were once children who signed the monster contract. A binding document which changes the child into a creature with pointed teeth, red eyes, and other various monster attributes. Only children who have had bad lives are recruited. (abusive parents, orphans, run-aways, children who have seen murders, etc)

During the daylight hours monsters can hide under their “human” skins, looking like a normal person. Only the most observant can notice the creature underneath. When the sun goes down all monsters have to show their true form. They can be stronger or faster than normal people. They also have sharp teeth, claws, tails etc.

Monsters are forced to follow the orders of their Monster Overlord. If they do not they are severely punished. Many who disobey are never seen again. Those that do come back are never the same that they once were. Broken creatures, shells of themselves.

A small group of 4 monsters have finally worked up the courage to escape. They want their human lives back and can no longer follow their Overlord with unquestioning loyalty.

I am looking for 4 semi-literate or literate people to play the renegade monsters.

I would like your input as to if we should have an additional 4 people play the monsters tasked with capturing the escaped monsters. Would it be easier to keep the RP moving forward if these monsters are NPC’s or if they are player characters?

I honestly do like the concept. What kid hasn't wanted an out? And what person hasn't reflected on choices they made as a child/when they were younger and realized how wrong/misguided they'd been.

While it seems like it would be more difficult, I feel like it would be more fun for the antagonists to not be non-player characters.
