It's basically classic monsters in a modern setting. Kind of like Underworld. They have Vampire, Werewolves, Demons, Mages, etc. who operate under the radar of human civilization and manipulate human culture from the shadows and such.

If you've ever played the game Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, that game takes place in the World of Darkness.

Sounds very interesting.

The main idea I've had for a WoD/Marvel crossover has been about werewolves investigating the Xavier Mansion. I like it because it's a fairly simple concept that would be easy to implement, since both involve shadow organizations and the Xavier mansion is in a suburb near a wooded area (or such is my impression at least). I just think it would be fun to have Glasswalkers meet the X-men, the Glasswalkers being an urban werewolf tribe.

As I said, though, the concept is fairly easy to adapt for pretty much any Marvel property.

Just let me know where you'd be interested to go with it. I figured I would handle the Werewolves since you don't know that much about them and everything. Are there any specific Marvel characters you would like to see involved? Like, did you want to go with the Avengers? Is there anything interesting you would kind of like to explore with the concept?

If you are alright with using the Avengers. I'm only familiar with the Marvel cinematic universe at the moment. I'm wanting to read the Marvel comics eventually, but not sure where to start. It could be that strange sightings have been occurring in the months following the events with Loki and the Tesseract. Maybe the werewolves are a bit interested in the Avengers and want to learn more about them?

Possibly. The most likely things to draw their attention would probably be the Hulk or Ironman because they would likely suspect them of having some connection to the Wyrm(basically the werewolf version of Satan/Cthulhu) or the Weaver(which is... kind of hard to explain. Imagine if there were a spiritual entity associated with the Stepford Wives.)

With the Avengers, since they're associated with SHIELD, there's also the possibility of turning it around. Maybe SHIELD sent in a team of agents to investigate a small group of gun nut survivalists that happen to be Werewolves and they never returned.

I like that idea very much. Which of the Avengers should make an appearance?

Whichever ones you would like to bring in. Ironman would be a good one, as I said before. SHIELD would definitely hold Banner in reserve, though. The situation would be too volatile to send him in initially. Captain America would be a good choice. Black Widow might be good as well.

Sounds good I've played Banner and Black Widow in the past. I'm not sure who you want to play.

I'd like to play Fury for sure, but I don't expect him to be around all that much except possibly for exposition. I can play Cap, Tony, or possibly Thor if you want. There are a couple werewolf characters I'd like to play(OCs mostly because the WoD was a tabletop rpg) as well. I'd like to splash in some vampire mooks at some point too.

Well, I'd love to try any of those, but right now I'm sort of craving something bookish, so maybe the librarian/doctor or bookstore owner/actor plot bunnies... I don't really care whether we do that as part of a fandom AU or make our own world.

Make our own world up. Which roles would you prefer ?

Oh, goodness, that is super tough... um... I've never written an actor before and I'd kind of like to try, so... librarian or actor for me? Honestly, I'd be happy with either one, though. Do you want to each write two characters, or focus on making one really great?
