You have a point. I think the mother should be human and my character raised as a human... that means I just have to go figure which god I want to have as the father... I really like how you put it "kids with super powers"... that strikes my fancy ^_^

Ah, so we have super powered characters that are going to spearhead something of a rebellion against the oppressors? I like the idea of that—very dramatic, very captivating. :yes: Will our characters be amongst the underprivileged rabble? Oh, a better question, what kind of technology is at our characters disposal?—and what is the status of the country? Has everything been divided and put under the rule of different dictators. Like the City-states of Rome?

you know I've almost always heard the father being the god. And It's always seemed more appropriate so I'll start looking at gods as well. Shall our fine detail planning for the RP move over to PMs? or wanna keep hammering it out on her(Either's fine with me :3)

Lol yeah the lightning-powers guy. The part of Infamous I focus on is the power. Versitle despite being based on one certain thing as well as weakness when there is a great deficit of the material(Powers not limitless need to be charged)

My inital thoughts were that the "rebellion" is formed as a result of things our characters do. Not because they formed it

their background can be up to you...maybe one is from slightly higher society and the other is from the lowly poor("Street rat" for lack of a better term) background

As for technology, Modern, what exists today exists in the setting but some technologies(Esclators, elevators, cars...high-end stuff) are luxuries and few get to experience them anymore.

It's believed to be ruled by one person..

LOL yeah a child of the goddess of wisdom might know too much right off the bat. Also free-for-all on gods? or did you want ot focus on a certain group? like Athena is Greek and all the greek gods have roman counterparts....and there are other god sets out there(Norse, japanese...etc)

I don't. Something that isn't too far fetched like you would find in India... maybe norse or celtic? I am unfamiliar with them but maybe...

I really like Freyr. Well, actually I prefer his sister but he will do nicely. For my character to be a demi god under him, her disposition would be of one wanting world peace and helping others be happy ^_^ Beyla is being punished for whatever sin it was that made Freyr scold her in literary works (no one knows her powers or why she was in trouble) by being my character's governness/bodyguard. Since her father also owns the world of elves, maybe her fighting abilities will be based on them. Pity he is dead... some father he turned out to be. However, his dad (her grandfather) is god of the ocean so maybe that can help out in some way or something. I don't know. So very much to take in. Hmmm... her abilities... well, since she loves helping people to be happy it wouldn't hurt to give her control of the immediate weather.

So lemme get this straight before I go to bed....(Because it's late fer me and sleep is good) your immediate god-parent is Freyr(It could be Freya we don't need to stick to the father being the god) and based on Freyer's demeanor/family history weather powers...?
sounds good...I'm still trying to choose fer my character(Trying to avoid just choosing thor,loki, or Odin because of familiarity of the masses) and if you want to mention the whole family lineage deal we could even break down the powers based on that...strongest powers based on parent, weak powers or affilation/something based on grandparent?...just a though...but i needs ta sleep is late

lol, Freyr is known for being several things including helping humans out by providing decent weather. He isn't really the warrior type as much as a good ruler type.

I figured my character should also enjoy peace and happiness. Since her father can provide good weather, she could be able to control the weather to a little extent.

I don't want the sis to be her mother because she is the equivalent of Athena. Too wise in my opinion.

Maybe my character could be a diplomat. Still want elf armor and weapons ^_^

Sorry it's taking so long for me to choose a father/mother for my character. Part of me wants to do Thor but since he's the most powerful one i don't really want to take that angle. and the one god that i'm sorta interested in Ullr i'm having trouble looking into...(All i know is god of skill and hunting)so i may give up and look else where soo i don't want to make you wait too long....
Alternately if you had a Deity you wanted my char to have as a parent I'm all ears for ideas

I think your my favorite. I happen to love Feudal Japan settings. It seems everything at that time was much more simple than it is today.

Well why don't you be one. Lets see being a princess is to obvious to the plot of a demon. ~ponders a bit.~ Have you heard of a manga called Tsuki no Shippo? (Tail of the Moon) It is really good and its the only manga that has ninja's in it right now. Hehe. Anyways here is the plot. A young woman from the Momochi village is ordered to another village to become the leader's bride. However, no one knows that the Leader of that village is really a Kitsune.

Very well. Though I am not using a main character from there. But some of the information like she is an herbalist, her ninja skills are not the sharpest but manages to make though the day and live till the next.
