Introduction:

Lately cora has been stepping foot into RP's a lot more lately and she finally decided to just do the thing right and start an official request thread to recruit some of you other would be RPers. In this thread I will tell you about myself, my RP style and also what I'm after so I wont bore you by listing all of that twice. I will say a few things though so that those of you out there know before coming within the thread. I DO NOT like RP's that are clearly only romantic in nature. A little romance is OK but I prefer RP's with a more developed plot then Romance. I also look for a certain level of literacy ranging from lit to advance lit, but I may dabble in semi lit if you convince me hard enough but under no circumstances will I do one liner RP. No offense to those who do, I just find it boring. If these things do appeal to you then please read further.

When it comes down to it I will do just about anything as long as you have a good plot behind it to convince me. There are just a few things that I am REALLY against and they will take A LOT of convincing in order to get me to agree to them. However if you have a good plot then by all means feel free to try and convince me, you never know. Just don't be offended if its not what I'm looking for.

As said earlier cora prefere's Literate to advance literate RP's but she has been known to dabble in the semi-literate RP styling if the plot it particularly right. She will guarentee you that she will do at least one post per day but she usually does in the range of 3-5 posts per day. She likes to take the time to think about how to answer your post before she does so be patient with her. The following are a few examples of posts she has made recently.

The angel Rebecca, or Becca as the other angels like to call her, was not what you think of when the word Angel comes to mind. She was a warrior, bred from the very beginning of her existence to protect the humans from the demons who roamed the earth. The other angels called her "The Cleaner" when they thought she wasn't listening, but the truth was, she didn't care. It was often times true, she was sent to earth to clean up whatever mess the demons left behind them.

She stepped into the grass from the tiny plane of light that had acted as her stairs. Contrary to the very popular human belief, most Angels did not have wings. This was merely one of the myths the humans created to make themselves happy. She could remember the painting she came across during one of her missions of an angel with wings. She just about laughed herself silly. Not that she could blame the humans for thinking that way, it was true that the high angels Gabriel and Micheal had wings. So she couldn't really blame them.

She looked out across the low flat plains in front of her, she could just barely make out the city of Veronelle in front on the horizon. She frowned first, and then scowled, "Galeriel, damn you, what have you done" she growled to herself. She put a hand to her forehead, this mission wasn't going to be easy. Even the Devil himself hadn't wanted Galeriel around.

A soft wind blew by her and she shivered just slightly. Looking down she mumbled under her breath, she'd forgotten to change. Another myth busted, most angels preferred to wear as little clothing as possible. Whoever told the humans that modesty is holy, well, quite frankly, lied. Adam and Eve themselves started off completely naked. She let out a soft sigh, ah well, what did they say. When with humans, do as the humans do. She changed her clothing into a soft pink dress that fell almost to the ground with long sleeves and tied nicely together with a corset that nearly cut off her circulation. "Humans truly are ridiculous creatures" she said in a loving manner.

Collin did not elaborate anymore on what was in the soft white powder that caused the loss of sight and sound, but he did tell he more about its uses, “it’s a relatively new invention that came out of the University at Coilstone, but when brought before Queen Arialle she shot it down, as it had the potential to create permanent damage in to the central nervous system. Arialle thought it to be too barbaric and for some time it went onto the back burners of invention it was only shortly before the war ended that the effects where perfected.”

He looked out as he saw the chariot pull closer to them, without much thought to it, in Sciencia they where commonplace, but Eshan seemed rather impressed with the wheeled cart. He laughed a bit when she spoke about them, but when Caprian, the Sciencian hound talked about them it made Collin Sincerely proud, “perhaps I was wrong” he said out loud but did not elaborate much.

The thought he had earlier pushed to the back of his head sprung forward for a moment, “Oh!” he said excitedly, he liked showing off the simple things of Sciencia to Eshan. He dug through his bag frantically until he found the small iron made pocket watch. He tossed it to her and said, “Here catch!” before letting her take a look at the small contraption. It was a simple clock, despite the complexities of clockwork, and an old design with an intricate rose pattern etched in the surface as well as the inscription on the back, To CD from AR. “That is a clock, it shows the time.”

The walked a bit through town after she had mentioned needing to find her horse, “Did you not leave your horse with the stables?” he said with a bit of confusion, wondering for a moment, as he had tied his in the stables. At least he thought they where stables anyways. He looked off in the distance not voicing his concern over his beauty of a horse. This was soon shoved from his mind when they approached the bakers cart. He watched as Eshan talked to the lady, making a clean deal. He smiled a bit thinking to himself, she is kinder then he gave her credit for.

“Thank you” He held the pastry in his hand for a moment, not eating it right away. It was a kind he did not recognize though this was not why he hesitated. He had hated her for a long time, her and all her people, but when you put them side by side, Malagii and Scianian made not one lick of difference. Eventually he took a bite of the flakey pastry and his face lit up. It was a sweet taste to it, a fruit of some sort that was unfamiliar to him. “This is truly incredible!” he said in excitement, “what is this?!”

It didn’t take him very long to devour the entire pastry. Afterwards he felt like perhaps he should have eaten a tad slower, but no matter he enjoyed every bit of that pastry. He waited for her to finish her own pastry before asking her, “so then, do you remember the last place you saw your horse?”

Hello, I would love to try a 1x1 RP with you if you are into those sorts of things. I am a bit new to this site, so my formatting may be a bit odd until I get the hang of it, but I assure you that I have been roleplaying on other sites for a long time now. I am anywhere from semi-lit. to lit. (depending on how literate my partner is), and could match your length if that's what you're looking for. Perhaps even go further, if so inspired.

I mainly enjoy horror plots, and I can either create them myself or work on a plot with someone. I love doing both, but I find discussing a plot with my partner tends to avoid confusion in the long run. I've done everything from werewolves, to serial killers, to mad scientists, so there's plenty to go over. Let me know if you're interested, I look forward to your response.

unfortunately I've never done a horror plot before, however if you had a general idea to play off I could help hash out general details.

Horror isn't the only thing I enjoy doing, so if you were really craving something else we could certainly do that. However, if you were looking for a horror, I find that it's best to know what you like in things like movies and books. You already stated that you don't want to do anything with vampires (at least not the kind that sparkled), so perhaps it's best for us to avoid anything having to do with bloodsuckers.

Serial killer roleplays tend to be the easiest for me, as I have read some books on them, but there are other options. What do you find scares you or gives you a thrill? Ghosts? Demons?

If we do go with a serial killer plot, it's just a matter of choosing what kind of serial killer there's going to be. Or, if there's more than one, what each of them will be. (Cannibal, shooter, someone who stabs, angel of mercy, etc.)

Let me know, and I'm sure from there we could work things out. Like I said, I do enjoy other things than horror, so if you're craving something else, some other genre or plot, just let me know and I'm sure I'll love RPing with you.

Hmmmm as far as horror movies go, I'm a horror movie junkie.

However, my favorites tend to be the ones that are more about the phycological and less about the gore. Serial Killer could be fun (I am a criminal minds junkie too)

I absolutely adore Criminal Minds, so maybe we could work something out. :)

Next thing that needs to be decided is what it's going to be. Are you interested in a serial killer x serial killer plot? Or a serial killer x detective/cop? Serial killer x victim? I can play any of the roles, though admittedly I feel like I play a terrible victim. Once this is decided the plot is a simple matter of sorting out the type(s) or serial killer(s), and where/when it will take place.

I once did a plot involving a prostitute serial killer in Victorian London, and it was quite interesting, particularly with the fact that it was my first male slash plot. Just goes to show that there can be plenty of room to plan with a plot like this.

I am not opposed to male slash, though admittingly I am rather terrible at it. I usually avoid it for this reason.

I would Love love love love LOVE to play a serial killer. I have been craving to do something evil lately. I think either role you would play could be fun, but I think detective/serial killer would leave us the most open ended and leave us with a long run. It could sort of be like you are always just shy of catching me.

However I am not opposed to the other senerio's either.

I can definitely play a cop or detective if you want to play the serial killer. Like I said, the only one I think I;m absolutely horrendous at playing is the victim. Luckily, if we do this, the victims will all be NPCs. Is there any specific place or time period you want to do? Or should we just go with a modern day setting?

Victims as NPC's are the best, because then they can die and no one cares.

How about during the French Revolution, or during the build-up before then?

I like that, I've not done anything during that time frame before.
