Age: 28
Powers: Great prowess in fights, great at snitching things.
Story: Has been on his own since he was 9, he knows how to survive. His fighting and thieving skills have kept him alive this long. Touch, snarly and set in his ways, but is there a good, loving heart underneath?

Name: Sassy
Age: 35
Powers: Excellent with a gun, good at strategy, knows what the dark side of life looks like and how to survive it. Especially when it comes to men and their "needs."
Weaknesses: Not good with blades or hand to hand combat. Is directionally challenged. Has a quick temper around people who seem arrogant, spoiled, all-knowing, or rich.
Story: Been at sea since she was a toddler. Can handle herself in a pub, but is best at sea. Grew a reputation as a ruthless captain and a terror to be captured by. Her ship is the Black Falcon, named for its speed and invisibility in bad weather.
Personality Traits: Angry and quick to condemn. Suspicious of anyone other than her crew.

Name: Destiny
Age: 28
Powers: Very handy with a blade, fast at running and getting around on the ropes, and has a sharp eye.
Weaknesses: Little skill with a gun. No skill with hand to hand combat unless she has a blade. Her speed makes up for her otherwise weak muscles. Must have whiskey nearby or will lose focus.
Story: Was picked up from a pirate ship by Sassy. Now serves as her 2nd officer.
Personality Traits: Is not strong spirited. Her speed comes from her fear. If she is losing or backed into a corner, will become more agile and unpredictable. Is not very caring, but is definitely loyal.

Name: Aqua the Water Sprite
Age: 750
Powers: Controls water within a half mile radius. This leads to situations of large whirlpools, heavy mists, and uncanny rain storms. Can liquidify herself for a limited time. Her stamina is strong.
Weakness: Sensitive to lightening storms. The electricity makes her control weak, so she tends to be a normal human as long as electricity is in the air. No fighting skills of any kind: blades, guns, explosives, or hand to hand. She is not very fast, strong, or agile.
Story: On an unchartered island, her life was peaceful bliss until roving pirates came on land. Sassy came along and helped her get revenge on those pirates in exchange for becoming her adviser and navigator of her ship.
Personality Traits: Quiet and observant. The most empathic one of her group.

Name: Maleor
Age: 40
Power: Controls without needing substance a blue fire. Has a persona that makes one feel negative feelings such as despair, grief, powerlessness, hopeless, betrayed, etc. Like to make deals with people and is very good at it. A scientist at heart. Known for his speed. Can be very persuasive because of her aura.
Weakness: Unable to leave the island he is on himself. Not good at blades, explosives, guns, or hand to hand. Not particularly strong or agile.
Story: A mage of horrible powers, he controls the hot elements. His strong suit is fire, though lightening is close behind it. Marooned on a gloomy and thunderous island, he has spent a great deal of time making deals that one doesn't like to keep with any visitors that come by.
Personality Traits: Unable to turn down the chance to make a deal. Fiery temper. Loves to attempt to seduce a woman. If he fails, he tries to kill her. Charming.

Name: Talons
Age: Unknown
Powers: A beast summoned accidently, he serves Maleor with a fierce loyalty. He uses blue fire to fly and is fast. Not the strongest perhaps, but who needs strength when you can even make metal burn. Immune to magic attacks. Speed, agility, and stamina are on his side. Not restricted to the island, so if you back out on a deal with Maleor, then Talons can send you to whichever god you worship.
Weaknesses: Water. Not particularly strong either. Must have specific instructions.
Story: He grew up in the celestial dimension. Rarely summoned to another dimension, he spent his days in the magical niches of his life. Was summoned by Maleor and given the ability to use blue fire in all of it's forms.
Personality Traits: Deadly assassin that makes no noise. Strong in the use of magic fire.

Name: Captain Jack
Age: 45
Powers: Good at finding resources. Creative.
Weaknesses: Anything non-merchant related, including women.
Story: Inherited his father's shipping company. Commands the flag ship of the merchant fleet called the "Red Arrow."
Personality Traits: Stammers around women. Squeamish with blood and violence.

Name: Terry and Jerry Saunders
Age: 18 and 21 respectively.
Powers: Terry at 18 is good with knife fighting and is second in command of the "Red Arrow." Jerry at 21 is the Captain's bodyguard. He handles explosives well and is decent with a gun.
Weaknesses: Being apart from each other or facing the death of the other.
Story: Orphaned and rescued from the sea after a storm sank the ship they were traveling on, they trained under Jack's father and now serve Jack.
Personality Traits: Dances when they hear music. Drops over asleep at the slightest taste of alcohol. Comedians to the point that they sometimes carefully disguise themselves as women to make the captain stutter.

Name: Father Blake
Age: 24
Powers: Healing
Weaknesses: Unable to harm a living soul for any reason. Slow physically and mentally.
Story: A monk who lives on a small, quiet island. He cares for the small village that is settled on the bluffs above the ocean. His own monastery is in the center of the island in a small clearing.
Personality Traits: Randomly starts praying and heals the most random of living things. Sometimes "healing" broken things as well.

Name: Sirens
Age: Unknown
Powers: Musical voices put men to sleep causing them to sleep walk into their deaths. Blood makes them go into a feeding frenzy. Extremely fast and agile.
Weaknesses: Can't leave the water and have almost no strength.
Story: Captain Jack is the only man to have escaped them.
Personality Traits: Sexual to any living creature: attraction impulsive on both ends. Melodious.

Name: Captain Mealla (Scarlett to her few friends)
Age: Unknown, looks like 27
Powers: Form and control storms, inhuman agility in fights, superb navigator, monstrous appearance in full moonlight.
Story: She is thought to be a mythical creature in human form. Her past is unknown but her name is feared by all, and she is known for not leaving survivors. She is not fond of using weapons in hand-to-hand combat but uses her inhuman agility to defeat combatants. She is captain of the Dark Storm, the fastest ship on the sea, and crewed by a those unquestionably loyal to her. They also know there is more to her than meets the eye....

Name: O’Dell
Age: 39
Powers: Tactician, proficient swordsmen, deadly gunman, knowledge of the military.
Story: 1st mate aboard the Dark Storm. Completely loyal to Captain Mealla (he calls her Scarlett), treating her as his daughter. He is ex-military and has contacts at all of the seaports, utilizing them to find prey or avoid adversaries.

Age: 100
Powers: Seriena can control the sea animals, and being part Siren if she sings, she can lure men to her.

Story: Seriena is cursed like almost all mermaids to be immortal until she is loved by a man. Not just any man, but a human man. She searches and prays that she can find a man so she is not forever stuck in the sea as a mermaid, never recieving death.

Name: Lúthien of Dorthonion
Age: 18
Powers: Can manipulate what people see, but only for a little while. She also can conjure some fire. Her agility and acrobatics are extremely outstanding.

Story: Luthien is the daughter of one of the most reveared elven fire mages, but has run from home. Even though she is of the fire tribe, she has been drawn to the sea, and she wishes to join a pirate ship. She is very skilled in fighting because of her father's rigiorus training. She is also fiercely loyal to anyone who befriends her.

Name: Jessie Rose (goes by Jess or Rose)

Age: 28

Powers: Extremely skilled fighter, especially with any blade. Heightened agility, quick on her feet.

Pet: Meeka, a young Aquos feline (a race of cats able to live under water). Jess found Meeka when she was a kit, washed up on shore and half starved. A mage was using a pregnant Aquos for his experiments, he wanted to derive their water inhabiting essence for his own. The mother and the siblings died, but Meeka survived. The mage was unhappy that Meeka was born with red eyes, so he threw her into the sewage. She was eventually dumped into the ocean, where she washed up on shore days later, almost dead. Jess nursed her back to health and then took revenge on the mage for his sadistic actions.

Story: Jess grew up on the waters. Her mother was the wife of an old fishing captain. When Jess's father died of scurvy after a nasty trip out to the sea, her mother, Darria, took over. When their ship was overrun by pirates, Jess was stowed in a chest. The pirates were convinced Darria's ship was using the fishing business as a front, and was actually transporting treasure for a rival ship the pirates were currently in a territory spat with. They believed the treasure was taken from their turf, and set to retrieve it by any means necessary. Upon spotting the chest, they were convinced it held the treasures that were stolen from them. Darria, who had no knowledge of combat, fought with such ferocity, she cut out the pirate captain's left eye. Eventually, she was restrained and the captain looked in the chest. Feeling vengeful, he threatened to throw Jessie into the sea. Darria offered to take her place, under one condition, that the captain raise Jessie as his own and teach her the ways of the sea. The captain, Jim Durn, agreed, but was so overcome by Darria's display of overwhelming love, he spared her life and offered them room and employment on his ship. Eventually, they were married, and Jessie was raised on that ship until she was sixteen. Durn even renamed the ship "Darria Rose", after his wife and new daughter. Before control of the ship could be given to Jess, a new shipmate accidently dropped a torch into a barrel of gun powder during a particularly violent storm. The ship was blown to bits, but Durn was badly injured. Both of his legs were gone, as he was standing on the deck, right above the explosion. Darria was blinded, and very nearly died from infection. Jess managed to take her parents to shore, where she used the coin she had saved up for years so they could receive treatment. After they were fit to go home, Jess bought them a small cottage by the wharf and took up several odd jobs, but hasn't found a lasting sea job for years. To cope with her depression, she has taken to drinking heavily, as the intoxication feels similar to a bucking ship. Currently unemployed, she traveled to a small island hoping for better luck.

It is open ^_^ We have two ships headed for a small island with a small population. Also that is the located of one of three treasures.
