It is time once again for the Galaxy Grand Prix. Many teams from around the world are coming together to join the most notorious race showdown of the AI world. The race will include both tracks on the earth, as well as battle runs and even a lunar station track. The race will take place over a one year period, which will test both AI's and their pilots. Each team must meet the standard requirements to enter. Any team caught with illegal gear or actions within the race, will be immediatly disquallified. The winners will recieve the title of champions of the Galazy Grand Prix, along with a trophy, a cash prize, and a term of their choosing. We look forward to seeing you there!

Ok, so if you have ever seen IGPX, Zoids or Gundams or any of those types of shows you have a sort of idea what this is about. This thread is to get spots filled while I work on the actual rp itself. So AI racing is a big deal in the world at the year 2060, technology has become more advanced then it is today. Specialized artificial intelegent robots were developed, which gave way to the current day's AI's. They are very expensive, typically used by the military, or for construction and space missions. Their most popular use however, is that of various racings, which is how the Galaxy Grand Prix came about. The rp will follow one main team, (who's name will be decided by the members), and will follow their journey to attempt to become winners of the Grand Prix. At the same time, this is not the only aspect of the rp that will be going on. For the rp will also be focusing on a second team who is also after the title, but their motives are a bit shady. They will be susupected of cheating and using illegal equipment, but it can not be proven. At the same time, they will have an ulterior motive going on behind the race and the scenes altogether, which will push the main team to their limits. There are going to be two main types of AI. Huminoid (which look more like the IGPX and Gundam robots), and Animal based AI's (which are more like the Zoids). Typically only one or another is allowed in a race, but in the Grand Prix, both are allowed, and the teams are allowed to mix it up as they please on their team. Each AI usually has a specialty : Speed, Attack, Defence, Special...etc. You will have plenty of time to get it figured out. So, these are the following spots open. Mind if i took one of the main team pilots as well? and what exactly would be an 'extra' spot into the rp? like a mysterious or random other racer(s) from different teams?

Well my extra is going to be a pilot for the military. It can be whatever you want it to be within reason, just run it by me.
