I'm not so confident in my roleplaying skills, though I still like to roleplay. I'd love to rp with someone, but I need someone who could put up with me in case I suck [sweat]

Hello, Dream-boat. I'd love to help out. I've got enough patience, for this anyway!!! I don't really do a lot of romance or sci-fi but I would give sci-fi a shot if you'd like. I just prefer fantasy. What sort of role play might you be interested in? As in genre and/or any settings you'd like to play in.

We can talk about fandoms, too. If you are a fan of a series, and I know enough about it we could play in a preexisting universe. But I'm good with making up our own universe too! Just let me know what you're looking for and if for any reason I'm not a good fit, maybe we can find someone who is.

Fantasy sounds fantastic. I understand you're new and want to work with you. Let's see what we can come up with. One of the hardest things is naming your character. Once you've got a name, come up with a quick description. Don't bog yourself in details just yet. If I were to glance up and see your character, what do I see? Human? Female? Tall? Not so tall? Hair color? Just some basics, unless you're inspired to write more.

Consider a back story. This person existed in their world before now, right? What do they do? Who are they? You could be a princess, or a pirate, or a lion tamer, anything that strikes your fancy. For example: here's mine.

Lady Nightshade, Human. Dark hair and eyes, fair skin. Tall and thin. Sword for hire, also skilled with bow and arrows.

There are much more detailed "character skeletons" out there but we're starting with the basics. You'll want a weapon, maybe. Or some proficiency with magic. Don't overpower yourself but I hope to kick some action into the mix.

Angel FALLEN ANGEL!HE'S A LIAR, RUN!
Appears to be in early twenties
Appearance: Short, light sandy blonde hair. Dark grey-blue eyes. Wears a white long sleeve shirt under a black overshirt, and black pants and shoes. Has a silver cross necklace, six dark grey wings (sometimes just two) and an inverted cross on his tongue
Personality: Varis is very outgoing and caring. He loves to make people happy, and even tends to change his personality to suit them. He's not afraid to do weird or embarrassing things. He will earn your trust and kill you. He hates humans

Mia
Female
Ghost
About 10-12
Appearance: Messy, shoulder length strawberry blonde hair, looks crudely cut. Blue eyes. Wears an off-white nightgown, with a few bloodstains on the front. She is very thin and pale.
Personality: Mia is really shy, and is hard to approach without her disappearing. However, she is pretty curious and will approach you if she feels safe. She is very kind, but it rarely shows due to her fear of people. She is clingy to those she comes to trust, as she was alone in her life. She can talk, but since no one has yet gained her trust, she is mostly known to just gasp. Her only friend currently is a red bird named Oliver.

How's that? I have others if they don't work, these two are just my current focus

The ghost sounds like a lot of fun!! Would you mind if I played a character I'm using in another RP. Our story could be something he experienced before he met his friends.. It would help me explore his backstory. All I really have for him now is that his parents fought a lot and were basically terrible.

Mathias, or Matty could be about Mia's age in this role play.

Mia had terrible parents too. I don't have details, just that she was neglected and kept locked in the house. (The blood is from her coughing it up, not beatings)

Maybe the house Matty grew up in was the house she lived in before? Where did you imagine she was locked up, the attic? A closet or maybe a hidden room..?? We can cover a lot of it in the play but I need to know what kind of room it was and if you like Matty living in that house and she hadn't revealed herself or was "resting" a few years or... hmmm..

She was sick from malnourishment. She was just ignored, so she was left in the house. She was afraid of outside because it was unknown, so she never tried to leave.
Hmm. Maybe she was just too shy and stayed hidden, but one day he saw her, and tried to find her again?

We can go with malnourish/neglect. It won't have to be too specific. So it's the same house Matty grew up in? I just want to confirm, then I can get our thread set up. I'm on my phone right now but will be in front of a computer later. Few hours from now. No rush, just giving you an idea of my timeframe.

I'm still unsure of a few things. I'm scared because my only friends already have locker buddies.
Try a heating pad, or heat up some water, put it in a bag with paper or cloth towel(s), and use that as a heating pad [:)]
