Anyone Looking for some RPGs?
Alrighty guys, I'm hankering to do some writing lately, I've got all kinds of ideas flowing in my head but I think a nice RP or two will help me get the words themselves flowing. I have a few idea's I'll put down here later on. I am not going to spend my time here with a hundred words, but I assure you I am a literate RP partner.
What I am looking for in an RP partner. 1) I'm sorry, I've tried but someone who only posts 1-2 lines while I'm posting paragraphs tends to leave me bored and without inspiration. I'm not asking for novels, but I think at least 2 good size paragraphs is fair. 2) You gotta be patient with me. I have a full time job, part time school, as well as my duties here. I will post at least once a week, likely more, but if it ends up being less often don't be mad >.>'' 3) Please play both male and female characters and also be willing to multi-chara. What you can expect from me: 1) I play male, female, or anything in between. 2) I am very literate, my posts will range from 3-15 or more paragraphs depending on what you give me to work with and what the situation calls for. 3) On average at least 1 post a week, but usually more. I'll let you know if something is going on where I can't post that often. Plot Ideas: 1) If anyone knows what Star Crossed Myth is....I would love to do a story based on this in a different era and I will love you forever. So basically the gods of the stars but not the same ones. 2) A goddess of fate watches over the earth with a great deal of love. Her love for humans let her watch them always from the heavens, gently granting their wishes and giving them hope, but one day she looked down at the earth and she started to realize the hope and love that humans have for one another had faded. Chaos had ensued. The other gods told her earth was a lost cause but she couldn't let it go. Instead she made a decision to give up most of her power (because her powers would cause too much disturbance to the delicate earth) and left for earth. Determined to teach the world to love again. While there she fell in love with a lowly human, and her reasons for staying on earth begin to change..... 3) A modern day beauty and the beast..... An angel comes to earth to judge the world as either good or evil. She poses her self as a homeless woman and pleads her case to a wealthy man. This man, who was not normally a wicked being, but having a bad day, treats her poorly. The angel, scorned by his treatment of her, curses him to a beastly form. He shall be a beast until he can find someone to love him in his current form. The gods, having seen this, get angry at the angel. And as a punishment to her, strip her of her powers, forcing her to stay on earth, until such time that the beasts curse is lifted. Its her job to help him overcome her curse. 4) She is the high priestess in her temple. But when one of the temple maidens falls ill and death comes to retrieve her, the high priestess and death fall in love. After that time, the priestess starts to go with death on his jobs, being close to death developing a power of her own. The power to gently remove or connect the strings that connect a soul and the two begin to string the lines of fate together. 5) THIS IS NOT A SEXUAL RP, DO NOT ASK. In a world ruled by men, women are treated as nothing more then slaves to do mens bidding. One woman, and the man who was supposed to own her, become the leaders of an underground group that is trying to change the world as they knew it from the inside out. 6) If we could do an arranged marriage, I would love you. 7) Suggest something, I'm pretty open to ideas ^.^ |
Did you have a plot idea for the arranged marrige? Also I love the bueaty and the beast twist!

I don't particularly have a plot for arranged marriage no, because that can go in so many different directions. I am willing to hash one out.
However, I would love to do the beauty and the beast one cause.....been trying to get someone to do that one with me for AGES. |
Well if you'll have me you found someone. Beauty and the Beast has been my favorite fairy tail since I was a child. Now i know the summery was vauge did you want the angel to be the "beauty" or the eventual super cool best friend of the beast?

Ah yes I always intentionally leave them sort of vague so they have room to grow but yes I had intended her to be beauty.

Cora: I'm more comfortable with fantasy, it allows for more scope too. If we like we can make it supernatural so it's not very pronounced. |

I'm totally cool with fantasy, and adding in supernatural, cause yeah I'm totally a sucker for those things ^.^ Siren Sonder: Do you like to do profiles first, I'm fine either way, but some people like them. Also would you like to create thread/start or should I? |
Cora: I only make a profile for the sake of the character's face claim. I don't bother with personality and stuff because I like to develop them over the course of the RP [yes]

(I'm trying to become active on mene again and I usually am when I roleplay...) If there is something you really want to roleplay really badly we can probably work something out... Oh! I would be okay with the priestess and death plot as well.... |

Ah, well in that case there are many things that we could do.... Hmmm Well what are some of the ones you've been to lazy to put up? I am obsessed with beauty and the beast type stories so I will always be up for that one at least! I think I just like the whole "Good and evil unite" type of stories for some reason. I can also do multiple rps and multiple characters, if that helps any.

Loosely put, I can go into more detail if any strike your interest. 1) Lets see, I had this random idea for an RP that involves like taking turns picking out songs and then RPing a plot based around those songs. Its like a weirdly abstract sort of idea that I never knew if it would work. 2) A girl is kidnapped and taken to a castle where two(or more if we choose more) guys are trying to convince her that she needs to love them. Magic binds her to the castle, and she later finds out that she wasn't chosen at random, but because she is a long lost decedent of a dark past and that there are benefits to whomever falls in love with her. 3) I've considered reworking and reviving this : http://www.menewsha.com/forum/1769829159-post1.html |
1) I Like the idea but I have no idea how we would go about writing it out. Maybe we can try it out and if it doesn't work at least we can say we tried, right?
2) Well this seems very interesting and for some reason I imagined Maleficent's daughter! Why, I'm not entirely sure. 3) Holy crap you should totally write a book, you write better than many popular authors today! The only thing with this one is my writing seems very weak in comparison. However it is a story I can see myself reading and would want to write. For real though, you should look into writing a book! This is probably my favorite though if you don t mind my writing skills! |
I would love to do an RP based on the Immortals, which is would you believe, one of three books I HAVE started writing >.>. I always find it interesting how other people twist it though ^.^
I also forgot one of the ideas I meant to add so: 4) He is an ex-military(or spy or detective. Just someone with the ability to track people). She is just a girl in a coffee shop. The moment he saw her he was immediately drawn to her. He buys her a cup of coffee and the two of them spend about an hour talking about everything and nothing. He goes to the restroom and when he returns, she is gone. In her place she's left a bag full of money, A LOT of money. Thinking that she left it behind unintentionally he tries to find her to give her the money back, but along the way he is chasing down this girl whom he knows only as "the coffee shop girl" and he keeps finding that she's doing all of these really selflessly amazing things. Anonymously donating a wheelchair to a family who needed it and couldn't afford it. Buying food for a hundred homeless people downtown while pretending to be one of them. Things of that nature. But she has a secret, a secret that is about to expire. Can he find her before its too late? |
I think honestly I would rather do the Immortals one. I really enjoyed that one Is that okay with you? Or we can do more than one at q time like I previously mentioned.

So then, we'll need to probably multi chara for that one as there are many imortals. I'm ok playing any of them but I have a serious soft spot for the Seer, so I'd like to play her if you don't mind >.> |
That's totally fine! Is there any specific immortal I should play? I'm going to make some new characters because none of my characters seem to fit. I also want to make some well built character and this is my chance!

Ha ha I'm ok with you playing whoever. I'll likely play 3-4 different characters but I'll pick them around who you choose because each of them has their own fun quirks.

I would like to do the Modern Beauty and the Beast rp. I never done one before I'm sure it would be a lot of fun. just to warn you a head of time. I work part time two days a week. this week I work tomorrow and Friday till 4:30 pm.
