I have a medieval fantasy that is all about dragons if you're interested. I just joined and came across your post so I thought I'd see if you're interested.

I would also be interested. I have a character bumping around here somewhere in my massive filing cabinet of characters that is a male silver dragon that has dragon form, half dragon, and human forms. I wouldn't mind pulling him out of the closet for something. :]

Nah, he's one I created years ago and I haven't done to much with him yet sadly. He's an in development character.

Well how do you feel about arranged marriage type plots? I had a thought that maybe the dragons are at war with another race/species and they attempt to settle it by joining the two most prominent families of each. But maybe something happens the night before the ceremony and someone kidnaps the betrothed in an attempt to stop the peace and they have to escape some how...

I dunno, just a thought. Kind of cliche I guess but I've always been terrible at coming up with plots. xD

Hmmm. Dragons and who would be at war? Hmmm I could see quite a few characters coming out of this. Not just one. You thinking my silver dragon arranged with someone?

Either dragons and another race or multiple dragon "factions" would be at war with one another or...I dunno.

OR if you don't like the arranged marriage thing, we could do something where dragons as a whole are thought to be extinct and then your character is discovered and my character tries to help him find out what happened to the other dragons and keep him from being hunted etc etc.

Oh don't mind the arranged marriage. Just trying to figure out what other characters might be needed since it will take a kidnapper as well. Unless we're playing as kidnapper/kidnappe

So I was thinking I'd likely make my character an elf or something like it.

What if there are multiple dragon factions, and the largest is the one that agrees to peace with the elves? But a smaller faction is opposed and decides to kidnap the betrothed?

i have a love for dragons... so i can get into this. xD like.. very into this. ready for this *puts on nerd glasses and pulls out dungeons and dragons monster handbook*

So the best one for the faction that has agreed to peace with the elves would probably be the green dragons. Though they're actually evil dragons in general they are more readily attune to the things that elves like so they'd agree to a peace treaty of sorts with them for sure. Silver dragons often parade around in humanoid forms so my guy may not even be known as a dragon which fits him a little better actually. and oooo we can have some fun with this.

I hope you don't mind multiple characters. cause it can be quite fun running more than one character <3 and this one is feeling that to me.

Oh, please go nuts with this. lol Add as many characters as you want. I will likely have to stick with two or three though. I am bad at juggling.

i have to much experience with juggling ^^;; i usually try to stick to just a few characters or at least hte number my cowriter is using. Would you like me to make the thread. or would you like to? I usually do my first post as character bios. and first post of the thread as story information. like a basic run down of the world/plot planned. and a place we can edit in details to look back to for important things so don't have to search the thread for it. xD

there is also a character journals forum we can put the characters in if we're going to do really detailed bios.

If you don't mind starting us off, I'll just follow yours as a template if I need to. :D
