Virgil took the hand Aiden offered and stood up, still staring with confused eyes at Aiden's face. Aiden smiled one more time before kissing Virgil and then he was gone. Virgil stumbled around and found that he really was in a playground, a rusted and strange one, but a playground nonetheless. Virgil could swear he saw a dark shrouded figure standing in the mist, but you could never be sure in this place.

Stumbling, swaying, suffering, lungs thickly lined with drug thickened fog, his hand lifting to clutch at his chest. This fog was making him choke. He stumbled, foot finding the lip of a shattered sidewalk. No cry left his lips as he fell forward, barely managing to catch himself on his bruised and tired hands. He knelt there, watching the ground with blank eyes. He finally lifted his head, struggling to his feet with only the slight shifting of torn cloth. Keep moving. Keep running, searching. Find Her. Find Her, this stops.

(Oh, and, just so you know, Carlos has technically been there for years. After all, time flows differently on different planes.)

Virgil tilted his head to the side in confusion as the cloaked figure suddenly face planted on the sidewalk. Virgil ran over and recognised Carlos, the guy they had come here to save. Virgil almost laughed nervously, he had totally forgotten about carlos.

Carlos twitched, turning his head slightly. Blue-hair, familiar voice. He turned sharply, beginning to walk quickly away, body beginning to tremble. No, not real. Fake, trick, lie- these all ran through his head as he moved, black eyes plastered ahead of him. If it follows, find something to hit it with, to make it go away. If you trust it, it'll hurt you.

Virgil shook his head as Carlos stumbled away, he must have some problems of his own he needs to work out. Virgil turned and blinked his eyes, activating a heat sensing augmentation. Virgil gasped, the monsters only gave off a little heat, but he could still see them, they were everywhere. The highest concentration was under the ground in a network of tunnels. Virgil caught sight of Lucid's bright heat signature and assumed rei-rei was with him, so he began to head that way.

Lucid looked around the area, "So, how many of these fools do you think is around us? I count 10 humans, either they are cautious of us or it's you that they think is hostile but then again they might kill me considering how they are acting. I sense their fear of the darkness and the fear of the unknown. They must be thinking we are one of the darkness, yet they seem a bit.....distorted or displeased of our existence......this hinders a lot of things, we should be careful of the humans in this realm. They might pose a threat to us." Lucid said. Lucid eyed the people that were hidden around the area. Lucid prepped his gun, "I'd rather not use this weapon, it doesn't work on humans." Lucid said.

"I count 15 humans, the other five are up on the other buildings and stuff. You're right though, these humans may be a bit hostile. I'm worried that they might be stupid enough to try something. But don't worry I'll protect you, Lucid." Rei-Rei said as she hugged Lucid. "I'm more worried about the others though to be honest." Rei-Rei said in a saddened tone.

It was the tinkling that caused Carlos to stop, to blink the fuzz from his eyes. And when the tink came again, he was sure that IT had found him, that IT was going to try and tear him to shreds. His body trembled as his teeth clenched, eyes widening as it came into view, tall, stringy, mouth torn into a needle filled grin-- he turned away, heading toward the now faded blue-haired figure, sprinting as fast as his tired, malnourished legs could take him. The tinkling came again, a sure sign that it was in pursuit of him, hopping along on those legs of it's, rusted lawn mower blades for feet and hands. He ran faster, unwilling to allow that thing to gain ground on him, even if that meant he'd meet that familiar man up ahead, even if that meant seeing his face.

Virgil had gotten tired of the dead silence, so he occupied himself by quietly singing a slow french song that seemed to fit the mood of the town. Virgil heard a strange tinkling behind him and swung his head around, his long blue hair fanning around his head as he did so. He did not break the flow of the song as he did this and instead continued singing as he searched the fog.

Carlos nearly stumbled again, but he regained his footing and strove on, determined to stay away from that beast, the one who wouldn't die, the one that always got up, that always giggled and sliced at him. The man came into view again, this time having stopped. His body trembled, but he kept running, despite the cold feeling in the pit of his belly that told him to turn and run.

Virgil finished the song just as the monster came into view, the darkness encroaching at it's heels. Virgil cocked his head, strange... I didn't hear the sirens... Virgil unsheathed senbonzakura and adopted a swordfighting stance. His yellow eyes darkened and gained flecks of red, becoming more vampiric than catlike.

"Rei, can I borrow that sword that you were trying to offer Emma? If I'm going to fight a human I might as well not use my gun." Lucid said, "I may use magic but that doesn't mean that I can't accel in using a weapon or two." Lucid said with a slight giggle.

"Ooooh, you can use a sword huh? Very well, you may borrow the sword." Rei-Rei said as she pulled out the sword from her sleeves. Rei-Rei then gave Lucid the sword. "I hope you can use it well, some people aren't that skilled with a weapon so they swing them wildly like fools, but I believe that you just might be good enough to use a sword." Rei-Rei said with a smile.

"Gee.....I don't know if that was a compliment or an insult, haha, just kidding. Anyways I'll be fine as long as I still remember my Master's swordsmanship." Lucid said.

The monster stopped, tilting it's head at the new toy before it. A childish, almost innocent giggle escaped its mauled face, the emtal plate above its eyes scraping loudly against bone. It turned away, lifting it's blade-hand to wave it at Virgil, obvious wishing to carve his flesh, but unable. After all, it was only allowed the guilty one. It giggled again, bouncing on it's bladed feet, expertly balancing. Carlos had fallen again, now curled up tightly into a ball, clutching at his aching ribs, wondering how long it had been since he'd eaten anything REAL. He expected a balde to hit him, slice him. But nothing came; no chortling giggle, no terrible scraping of metal on concrete. No nothing.

(What exactly is this monster... it sounds like a cross between a slayer from "the suffering" and pyramid head.)

Virgil disappeared. and reappeared behind the monster, his blade dripping in sickly black blood. A fountain of black blood sprayed from a deep diagonal gash from the monsters chest to it's shoulder. Virgil turned and snapped the blade on the ground, ridding it of the blood.
"Hmmmm, that cut was meant to bisect you..."

(I love that monster from teh suffering. Such a beautifully put together game....those things scared me shitless....and, yes, this is the main representation of Carlos's guilt.)

The creature just let out a shrill, high laugh as it bounced, black blood spraying from an already knitting wound. It turned, lifting a bladed hand to point at Virgil. "No no no!" came the high voice, the sound a chortling mixture between a child and a grown woman. "Not you, not you!" It continued it's bouncing dance and chortling laugh, spinning around, its emaciated body almost like one of those ballerinas in a music box. "Not you, not you!" it chanted happily, giggling and snorting as it spun.

(And the basic idea of teh design fits well for Carlos. After all, he blames himself, and the perfect representation for death is the scythe. I thought the bladed arms and legs were perfect for his 'Judge'.)

Virgil tilted his head back, realization dawning.
"Ooooooooh. You're a specific."
Virgil sheathed his sword and caught Carlos's eye.
"It seems as though I will be unable to assist you in this, but I can always give you some advice. No matter how powerful the thing may seem, there is always a way to beat it, though sometimes you have to find strength in odd places."

((What a disgusting creature it must be.))

Rei-Rei caught the scent of Virgil, someone she never met before it must Carlos most likely and something nasty. "It looks like you're rapist friend is in a loop of trouble, I also sense that Emma's brother is with Virgil, but I sense a nasty demonic energy that's edging on killing someone. That monster's bloodlust is vast and yet it's need for torturing its victim or target is even more greater than a demon lord......at least it giving off this strange vibe." Rei-Rei said.

"Oh boy, Carlos is with the dummy perv and Emma is nowhere to be seen. What a bad day this is." Lucid said.

Virgil bowed and then disappeared, reappearing on the rooftop only to disappear again, and so on. Virgil made great time and caught Lucid completely off guard. Virgil augmented himself to have epicly large female breasts and them launched himself off the roof toward lucid.
"EPIC ANIME BOOB-SQUISH HUG ATTACK!!!"

When Lucid heard Virgil's voice he knew trouble couldn't be too far ahead, "Oh, what the hell?!" Lucid said as he looked up at Virgil falling towards him. Lucid aimed his gun at Virgil and shot at Virgil with low power. Lucid knew that if he shot Virgil with full power, the gun's energy would have cut right through him. At least at weak power it would feel more like a steel golem punching him in the stomach. "Please make this connect....." Lucid said as the cross-shaped energy blast flew towards Virgil at an incredible speed.

Rei-Rei held in her laughter when she heard Virgil yelled out, 'EPIC ANIME BOOB-SQUISH HUG ATTACK!!!'. "Oh dear, this might be a problem." Rei-Rei said as she couldn't hold back but laugh.

Virgil grinned maniacally,
"NOTHING CAN DEFEAT EPIC ANIME BOOBS!!!"
Virgil's already ample breasts expanded to massive proportions, almost shielding his body entirely. The cross shaped bolt of energy was absorbed with an odd squelching noise and was never seen again. Virgil continued to fall at full speed toward lucid, his breasts threatening to squash the poor boy.

"Rei let's go before that dumb perv tries to smother me with those things." Lucid said feeling a little annoyed.

"Sure." Rei-Rei grabbed Lucid and jumped high. Rei-Rei pushed Virgil down with her foot as she used him for a footstool when she jumped. Rei-Rei then landed on top of the roof. "Wow, he won't quit. He must really like you if he's willing to chase you down like that and smother you with fake boobs." Rei-Rei said as she laughed.

"Yeah, well I'm not interested. I have better things to worry about than that." Lucid said.

Virgil slammed into the ground and rebounded due to his rubbery flesh balls. He sailed back up to the roof and landed gently on the edge, the boobs gone again. Virgil bowed and smiled at Rei-rei and Lucid.
"I'll be here all week, I'm now giving out autographs and pictures."

Lucid pointed a gun directly on Virgil's head, "What do you want?" Lucid said coldly, "Do you want to get vaporized or something?" Lucid cocked his gun getting ready to fire it at anytime.

"I think the humans think we are evil monsters or something just look at how some of them are acting." Rei-Rei said as she pointed at most of the people gossiping and scurrying about. "They better not try anything funny otherwise they'll be my lunch." Rei-Rei grinned showing off her fangs.

Virgil snickered at Rei-rei.
"Says the woman who just criticised humans for thinking she's a monster."
Virgil walked up to lucid and pressed the gun to his chest, moaning slightly.
"Go ahead big boy."
Virgil pushed the gun to the side and pulled Lucid to him.
"Any way you want, you know you wanna, take me! What's the matter Lucid? Take me!"
Virgil pushed Lucid to the ground and began straddling him.
"I know you like it naughty, well naughty boy take me!"

(And virgil tries a new tactic... Ok I totally ripped that from somewhere, but I changed them a bit so it's ok <.< >.>)

"Hehe, happens to be for a fact that humans think that anything that doesn't look like them is labeled monster or freak. I've met some nasty humans out there, but Lucid's different, I like him even if he is human." Rei-Rei said as she giggled at both Lucid and Virgil, "You two act like little children when you two see each other." Rei-Rei said.

Lucid pointed the gun back at Virgil and started to shoot 3 energy blasts at normal strength, now these blasts felt more like getting hit by an explosion. Lucid shot Virgil directly at the chest, but considering how strong Virgil is it felt more like he just got sucker punched by Nemesis from Resident Evil 3. "I'm not interested in you get it through you thick head! Are you even a guy? I sometimes wonder if you are really supposed to be a girl......" Lucid said as he pushed Virgil off of him with his legs. Lucid thought about stabbing Virgil but that was too mean of a thought to do.

Virgil landed lightly on his feet and dodged the second two blasts. The first had caught him in the chest and left a huge bleeding cross. It healed within seconds. A slight blush crept to Virgil's cheeks and he batted his eyelashes at Lucid, panting heavily.
"Oooooooh. Do it again."
(here Virgil mentally shudders, realizing he's acting just like bradin)
Virgil dipped his finger in some of the blood that had been drawn and lifted it to his mouth, licking it suggestively.
"I can be anything you want me to be baby."
Virgil grinned and spun, when he came back around so he was facing Lucid again, he was a girl wearing a white and blue dress with a silver tiara in her hair. Virgil put his hands together against his chest and looked at lucid with his big blue eyes.
"Oh kind sir, I am ever so lost. Would you mind helping this poor damsel out of her distress?"
