Kotone blinked when she noticed black lines on the pale skin of Virgil when he tilted back. "You have a tattoo?" She asked curiously, leaning closer to get a better look despite of herself.

Virgil looked from side to side, not sure if he was watching, but virgil decided to take a chance,
"I may need a little help, you see there's this curs--"
Black chains erupted from the floor, encircling and binding virgil, they then slowly began to pull him into the floor.

"Virgil!!" Kotone screamed as she grabbed hold of the blue haired man. She tried pulling him up from the floor, but was slowly losing her grip. Suddnely, an idea popped in her mind and she spun her head towards the direction of the door. "J.J!! Help!!" She screamed loudly.

J.J. turned her head, dropping the gem to the floor. She ran for the door, barely registering the sound of the gem cracking. She ran down the hall, blinking as Kotone came into the view. "What's wrong?" she called, voice a bit too cold for the situation.

Virgil couldn't utter the icy and sarcastic comment that bubbled to his lips because his mouth was gagged, in a very S&Mesque way, by one of the chains. He had to make due with glaring at her as sarcastically as possible, trying to convey how stupid it was to ask 'whats wrong' when the answer was blatantly obvious. Being as ADD as he was, he thought to himself,
"What's wrong? oh nothing my dear friend. the kettle just boiled over, nothing to worry about.
What's that? chains? Oh this is just a fun game we're playing! it's the latest craze in Europe."

(=.= don't even give me some WTF comment cupcake, this is exactly how Virgil would react, not me, and it's aimed at J.J., not you...)

"J.J!! Help me pull Virgil out of the chains!!" Kotone yelled while trying to pry off the chain covering Virgil's mouth, "We can't let him sink into... wherever he's sinking into!!"

Virgil felt a chill crawl down his spine and thought to himself,
"If they thought john was bad..."

J.J. smirked at Virgil's glare, about ready to snap at him. She refrained herself however and, against her better judgement, shifted her body, revealing teh tall, purple monster she was beneath that pale skin. She lunged, grabbing aold of the chains and pulling back with enough force as possible. Which was a lot.

A pair of thin grey arms with silver claws reached up from out of the floor and pulled Virgil deep into the abyss, the wooden floor rippled oddly as this happened and then was still, as if nothing had ever happened. Virgil was now able to release his full power without fear of harming anything. A pair of beautiful wings erupted from his back, the feathers were silver with electric blue tips, his fingernails lengthened and sharpened. Virgil adopted a strange fighting stance, his body was leaned forward and his left hand was pointing straight out and slightly down in front of him, while his right hand was straight out and slightly up behind him. His yellow eyes turned grey and the pupils disappeared, of all the physical augmentations he had collected over the years, this was his favorite.

J.J. stumbled back, blinking her tiny eyes at where Virgil had been standing. She tilted her elongated head, wondering where he had gone. She shook her head, cursing the animal in her for its stupidity. Into the floor of course. Where else. Its not like the chandelier had suddenly grown teeth and eaten him like some sort of metal, meaty, Virgil-taco or something...the animal in her, just to be sure, forced her body to glare suspiciously at the chandelier in the room, the simple mind convinced it would soon devour them all.

Kotone had tears in her eyes, wishing that she didn't let go. 'Where's Virgil? Is he alright??' She wondered as she turned to J.J. In all the commotion, she didn't even notice the change. She stared wide-eyed at the newly transformed girl... uh monster thing. She knew she should be revolted by her appearance, but she was more curious than disgusted. "What... are you J.J?" Kotone asked.

J.J. turned to blink her beady eyes at Kotone, susprised teh girl hadn't fled. "I'm a shapeshifter. This is the form I was merely born in," she said simply, almost as if it were common knoweledge. "Now, if you don't mind, I'm changing back. My instincts are convinced that teh chandelier is trying to eat us." And with that, she morphed, becoming teh purple haired woman once more. She turned to look at Kotone, not even noticing that she was nude.

Virgil was facing a grotesque grey creature, it was 5 times larger than any human, and had the body of a human down to the waist. Where the legs should have been was a forest of writhing barbed tentacles, everything about him including the clothes he wore looked as if they had been drained of color until only shades of black and grey remained. His eyes were like two empty black holes, beckoning you in, his face would have been angelic were it not grey as a corpse, and he wore an Egyptian headdress reminiscent of a cobra, almost the same as the sphinx statues. Virgil was staring into the empty pitiless eyes of the Egyptian god Set, the god of chaos.

Kotone blushed a thousand shades of red as she scrambled to her feet. "Lemme get you some clothes! Keep an eye out for Virgil!" She exclaimed as she ran out of the kitchen and towards her bedroom on the next floor.

J.J. blinked, confused until it suddenly got very cold. She shivered, looking herself over, grumbling in anger. She forgot that shifting ruined her clothes. She needed to start remembering that.

Kotone ran back into the kitchen with a t-shirt and some pants. "I didn't go in your room so I couldn't get any of your underwear." She started as she handed the clothes to J.J, making sure not to look at her.

J.J. slid the shirt on over her exposed chest, sliding pants on over her lower body. It felt weird wearing clothes without udnerwear, but, hey, when she was younger she was always naked. It wasn't that awkward once she got used to it.

Once J.J. was fully dressed, Kotone turned to her with seriousness dancing in her eyes. "What do we do about Virgil?" She asked.

"Wait," J.J. said, walking pas kotone and towards the hall. "It's no use worrying over him if he's not even here to be worried about. And if he doesn't come back, hooray for me."

"But, he's a resident here! And our friend!" Kotone shouted as he ran after her, "Are you just going to leave him wherever he's been pulled into?!"

"Yep," J.J. said, turning down the hall. "And who said he was my friend. He's a pompous, disrespectful--" she stopped herself, not really wishing to teh say the word in her head. "Besides. I'm sure he's fine."

Virgil was in the middle of a fight, but he knew he had a few seconds to spare. He quickly pulled out an artifact that resembled a pink conch shell, it glowed and pulsed, opening a rift in front of Virgil. He stuck his head in and a second later the top half of Virgil's body appeared, upside down, right in front of J.J. Virgil swung forward and planted a solid kiss right on her lips.
"Thanks for the praise sweetie, I love you too."
Virgil dodged her frenzied attacks and looked over at kotone.
"Don't worry, I'm just having some ancient Egyptian god troubles. I'll be back before you know it. Maybe..."
Virgil winked and then pulled himself back through the rift.

J.J. just stood there, fingers at her lips, wondering why eh had down that. Probably to spite her...but...it wasn't that bad besides her disgust. She had never been kissed before. Never.
