Set in the modern day Japan with a fantasy element, a prestigious school known as Santa Maria Academy for excellence. The school is modern and everything about it screams wealth and privilege. Girls and boys attend this school. The student council is the 'elite' of the school, the best of the best. However, the school is hiding something. The scroll of Immortality. Long ago... a powerful mage created this spell for immortality. Try as he could, he couldn't destroy this spell. He was a good mage, wise and true. But, due to evil people wanting this spell, he entrusted this scroll to his friend. Promising to protect it, his friend set up a school, naming it Santa Maria. With guardians protecting this school. Nearly two hundred years on the guardians has managed to protect this scroll from reaching the wrong hands. The guardians now, given official titles, disguised as the student council, but they are the protectors of the scroll. Now, a new evil that they never faced is threatening the scroll. An evil never fought with before. How will this turn out?

My life is like a scroll...
Born to a wealthy and ancient Family, I'm really just like your average girl. I grew up Japan, and I have two older siblings. Both of them came to this school, when I was young. After they graduated, I entered this academy. My family is not only wealthy, but they are the ancient clan of Himawari, we have been with the maker of the scroll for generations. When he was gone, our family and several others joined to protect it. My life is pretty ordinary, started training in mastering my abilities and learned to use a bow and arrow, amongst many other weapons. I entered this academy when I was young, in elementary school. When I entered the high school devision, I was put into the student council as their secretary. I keep my ears open for any information that my team mates can use.
People tell me that...
I'm far too blunt and frank for my own good. I listen to people, and read books. In this way, I'm bookish and keep my feelings to myself. While outside of the student council, I'm happy and cheerful, always seeing the brighter side of life. But within the student council my true personality shows. I'm a very serious person, and prefers to keep it that way. I'm stubborn, yet at the same time willing to listen. I rarely voice my opinion, unless I'm moved in someway.

I am a Male, in this story I am a student council member.
My life is like a scroll: I grew up in the state of California, one of my parents from the Philippines and the other from over here. My parents told me that I started to make things go boom at the age of seven and then it got worse when I got into middle school. Yeah I got that considering I ended up almost making a trashcan blow to pieces. My friends were the only ones who knew about my powers and stuck with me until I graduated eighth grade. After that I had to move to Japan. My dad told me it was because of a job offer, but I knew the real reason. A business partner of my parents was connected to the scroll and its maker and guess what happened when he was gone. I entered Santa Maira when I started high school, age fourteen and then the student council. Even though I'm just a regular member, I've still played my part.
People tell me that... I'm too lazy for my own good. I mean sure I play a load of video games and never practice with my powers, but it doesn't mean I won't get up to kick your ass. I guess that you could associate me with my power since I get easily irritated, but it isn't like I'm going to cause you to explode. You have to do something special for that. And don't ever call me "Drew". That's the kind of "I'm not afraid to hit a kid" thing. Aside from that I'll try to keep my other feelings more secret. I'm not going to burden people with shit that isn't even there. I'm usually happy though and sometimes even joking (inappropriate or not). Don't be surprised if I tell you that something is stupid or something as I honestly don't care what people think.

I am a Female, in this story I am A school council member
My life is like a scroll Adopted by one of the most well-off families in the city and never knowing her real roots, Uffie has never truly felt that she belongs in the presumptuous environment of high society. She tries to find any means of temporary escape, whether it be roaming around by herself in the seedy parts of town or letting her mind wander in daydream as she begrudgingly sits in class at the academy. Because her mind is always wandering she sometimes comes off as a ditz, though in reality she is fairly intelligent. Her adoptive parents don’t seem to mind Uffie’s roamabout ways or her truancy in school as they’re much too busy running their billion dollar corporation. Uffie believes that they merely took her in from the orphanage for good publicity to make themselves seem like charitable beings and she outwardly loathes them for this. Deep down in her heart she really just wants to feel like she belongs. Because she feels she doesn’t fit in, she’s very shy around others. When people get close to her she’s very adept at relating to people and understanding their feelings. It takes quite an effort to get her to open up, but secretly Uffie grows fond very quickly of those around her in the hopes that they too will grow fond of her and provide her a place to belong.
People tell me that... I am too shy for my own good and that my head is always in the clouds. Try harder! Be proud of being a Yagasuri, they say. But I wonder how I can feel proud of something I am not.
My abilities are: Near-perfect throwing accuracy, extensive medical knowledge and the ability heal many near-lethal wounds
You can't see me without My throwing needles, the pendant from my real parents which I've had since I was a baby and maybe holds some power yet to be revealed

I am a female, in this story I am the student council treasurer
My life is like a scroll An only child and heir to the Devereux family, I lived a pampered childhood in my native land of France, where my every whim was attended to and my every desire was granted without question. I’m not going to lie, I enjoyed that lifestyle; I lacked nothing. Well, besides the company of my parents, but that was only to be expected. You win some, you lose some. Of course, due to this, as well as the fact that the household servants could barely see past the figures on their pay checks, my discovery and ultimately the use of my elemental abilities went unnoticed. Or so I thought. In the summer of my fifteenth year, I was suddenly uprooted and dumped in Japan by the order of my parents, with nothing more than a letter of explanation. Apparently the Devereux family and some scroll-making mage went way back, and as the heir of the Devereux family (with elemental abilities to boot), it was my duty to help protect a powerful scroll of his from the forces of evil. And I had to attend some boarding school in Japan to do it. Oh joy.
People tell me that... my sharp tongue will land me in hot water some day. If my pride, vanity and numerous other deadly sins don’t get me there first. Please, I’m only delivering what you set yourselves up for. Treat me like a rich girl, I’ll act like a rich girl. Entertain the fact that I actually have a brain, and I’ll have an intelligent conversation with you.

Illusions: I can create visions and sounds that aren’t really there.
Invisibility: Self-explanatory.
Manipulation of air: I can summon and control winds; this also allows me flight for a short period.

A little extra information: The school is a boarding school. Room alignments will be organized later. Also, the other students have powers as well, not just the guardians. It's just the other students don't either want to join the student council or their strength of their own ability is not enough.

A brown haired student yawned, already feeling the drag of Mondays get to him. It was partially his fault though seeing as he stayed up pretty late playing on his Xbox. But who wouldn't? It was freaking winter after all and it wasn't like he was improvising a Halloween costume. Wiping the hair out of his eyes, he took one of the guns out of his pocket, swinging it between his fingers. Being the oh-so-good student he was, he was taking his sweet time to get to class. Hopefully no one was looking though.

Saiyuki sighed and rolled her eyes. She walked slowly towards the school grounds. She had always hated the prospect of going to school. She opened the door of the classroom, she sighed and twirled to her hair. She smiled at people around her. Giving polite words of good morning, and the usual courtesy.

Andrew slowed down even more(if possible) as he saw Saiyuki, the secretary of the council, walking onto the grounds. How could she be this chipper at ten am? Stifling another yawn, he took out his PSP from his pocket, flicking the "on" switch. Maybe some gaming would wake him up(or possibly make him even more sleepy).

Saiyuki saw Andrew looking rather bored and sleepy. She raised her eyebrow at that, and a ghost of a smile played across her lips. She walked towards him, her footsteps were quiet.
"Are you always bored?" she asked in amused smile.
She slid down on a seat opposite of him, and saw him pull out the PSP. She rolled her eyes.

Uffie sits at the back of the class with her head down, disgruntled because her chauffer forced her into arriving on time for the first day of class. She'd much rather be in the manga shop downtown browsing the new issues than here. She raises her head slowly, noticing Andrew and Saiyuki, and looks at them with interest.

Saiyuki saw Uffie at the back of the class, looking slightly tired and very unhappy. Smiling a little, she waved at Uffie.
"Morning, Uffie!" she called out cheerfully.
Her greeting was sort of like a mixture of greeting and an invitation to join in.

*blushes* "H-hii." Uffie hesitates for a minute before getting out of her seat and walking towards the inviting Saiyuki. She sits in the seat behind the bored-looking Andrew. She's wracking her brain for something to say and she can feel her face getting a little flushed with embarrassment. "So, um, excited about being here?" she asks timidly.

"Not always, just when I'm in class." Andrew answered, as he selected his saved file. He looked up while he waited for it load, noticing another girl, Uffie, if he recalled correctly as she came over. A little shy wasn't she? He shrugged for a moment before trying to look friendly and smile. "Yeah I guess. I just wish they started at noon."

Uffie looks curiously at Andrew's PSP, wondering what he might be saving. Still bashful, she musters up the courage to ask what's on her mind, "Umm. What's that you've got there, porn?"

She realizes her mistake just as the words escape her lips and turns cherry-red with embarassment! :oops: :shock:

"I mean.... I mean...." she starts to feel a little panicked and is turning redder still.

Saiyuki saw Uffie joining in their conversation. She laughed a little, at Andrew's reply. And raised her eyebrow when Uffie said about him watching porn.
"It would be rather interesting, nee?" she asked.

Uffie looks at Saiyuki and smiles lightly, with a grateful look on her face.
"That is definately not allowed on school grounds!" She smiles too at Andrew.

Andrew almost burst out laughing before shaking his head. "Well not unless you count the fact that Ana's pretty hot." He was playing as Paul Phoenix in Tekken 2. "And relax," He started, showing them the PSP with two characters facing each other on the screen. "I don't look at porn at school."

Uffie smiles. She'd much rather walk about town than play video games but she wants to make a good impression after looking like a total dweeb with the porn question so she asks, "Is that your favorite game then?"

Uffie leans over and adds as an aside to 'Yuki "Boys and their toys, right?" *grins*

Andrew shrugged. "So far anyway. I'm kind of waiting on another game right now." He went back to playing Tekken for a moment, putting the game down a bit further so that no sort of higher authority would notice.

She raised her eyebrow and sighed, this was so typical of Andrew. She turned her attention back to Uffie.
"So, are we having a meeting today or not?" she asked. She wasn't sure, and it was usually the president that called the shots for this kind of thing.

At a little past ten on that particular Monday morning, a petite silver-haired girl could be seen leisurely making her way across the school grounds. That is, she would have been seen if she hadn't been invisible at the time. 'I wonder if this could be considered an abuse of my powers,' Aurélie Devereux thought to herself as she silently glided over the ground underfoot. 'But then again, making classes start at nine in the morning is what I consider an abuse of the school's power. So it pretty much evens out.' Nodding in satisfaction at her conclusion, Aurélie quietly opened the door to the classroom and slipped into a seat near the back before allowing herself to be visible again. It was a well-practised technique, for this was not the first time Aurélie had been late to class and thanks to her abilities, she had never been caught. It wouldn't do for the school council's treasurer to be late after all.

Andrew shrugged at Saiyuki. He wasn't really all that sure, but shouldn't the secretary know? She was the information scouter after all. He was kind of sure that they did though despite it being Halloween. Where was everyone else though? He continued to press a few buttons, defeating next slew of opponents.

"I suppose we should meet." Uffie shrugs softly. "Perhaps if we don't hear from the President of the club you should preside over things? Maybe we should meet after class?" she suggests looking at Andrew and Saiyuki then toward the back of the class at Aurelie, who just seemed to appear out of thin air.

Saiyuki shrugged and leaned back on her chair. Sure she was the secretary and she was meant to know all about the next meeting, it was just that the president was hardly there anymore. She wondered where he had disappeared off to. She saw Aurelie suddenly appearing in class, she raised an eyebrow, amused at the appearing act, and smiled.
"Maybe," she said with a careless shrug, "Maybe, meeting later."
