((Back again and thanks for saying Cora))

She paused as she walked in surprise as the older girl. She looked several years older, maybe a fifth year or something. It was a shock for Tori to be spoken to by her.
"Um, hi. I'm Tori..." She muttered a little nervously, not looking straight at the girl. Tori had grown up around magic, it hadn't helped that her older brother decided to try and pull tricks and such using magic on her. Of course, he never actually DID any magic, that was against the law. Although sometimes her dad would do the odd joke on them...Either way, magic wasn't a surprise to Tori, she knew vaguely what to expect at this school.

((sorry for taking so long to respond last few days have been crazy))
((Remaro- no problem dear
Firelight- The bus I think cause everyone else is there already....we need to get our butts in gear))

Mollie smiled as the new girl responded. She looked a little shell shocked to haven been spoken to by her. She giggled softly, "its alright dear you dont have to look so surprised we wont bite" Gently she motioned at a seat not to far from them as if offering her to stick around if she'd like before turning her attention to Millie, "Hmmm....I dunno really I hope we get some good ones though.....dont fancy being squashed by heron for the house cup again....."

Haitie walked into the bus stop with her sisters wrist in her hand dragging her along behind her, "come one sis your walking sooooo sloooow" she said this in a very whinny sister like way. Though her face could not conceal the smile that just kept creeping onto her face. When they first caught glimpse of the bus she stopped dead in her tracks with a look of awe at the large bus that would take them to the school. For the first time it really hit her.

Kira and Dori where still having tea when Katie walked in. Dori smiled up at her, "Can I help you Professor Stockwell? Or have you come to join our tea party?" she motioned to newly conjured chair opposite her as Kira attempted to pour her a cup of tea only managing to pour it on the desk and stammer out a sorry before beginging to clean it up.

"why'd you stop?" Crystal asked after nearly running into Haitie as the girl stopped quite suddenly. She followed her sister's gaze and saw that she was staring at the large bus that would take them to rose academy. She took in the sight for a few moment, before shouting happily and running toward the bus, dragging her sister along behind her.

Jake looked around at all the other student getting on the bus for rose academy. His parents had just dropped him off and said their (embarrassingly tearful) goodbyes. He walked toward the bus, dragging his luggage behind him when he was nearly knocked over by two identical twins running towards the bus. He shook his head, amused, and headed off in the same direction.

Katie looked at the two having tea and sighed. "I just came to inform you that i have finished all my class preparations and am taking my leave for the day. As for the tea party, I'm going to have to refuse." She said in the most polite tone of voice she could manage in the situation, and went from the room to her chambers. Grabbing a book off the shelf and putting the tea kettle on, she sat down in a nearby chair and began reading.

Sue stretched and looked down at the work she had done in the past several hours. Satisfied with her progress, she went in search for some lunch. Passing Katie on the way she gave a quick greeting, getting a slight nod in return. As she entered the teachers lounge, she saw Kira and Dori having tea. "Would you mind if I joined you?" She asked, sitting down in the same chair that, minutes before, Katie had been in.

John, having made several important discoveries that day, sat having his lunch in his rooms where no one could disturb his concentration. Sure, he was sociable but as any good scientist known when he was doing research it was best that others just let him think. Bringing his plates to the sink, he decided that he needed a break and, as it was a nice day out, he headed outside to enjoy the late summer weather.

Haiti Quickly began to run with her sister again. After all it wasn't every day that you started at a new school. She hopped on the bus with excitement that was rather rare for her. After all on most occations she was rather calm and broody. But even she broke free from this normal spell to see the excitement of the situation. It had been a dream of the twins for so long to go to Rose Academy. She popped her head out the door to look back on there parents who where pushing the luggage that the twins should have been pushing. She could see the basket on the top which she knew contained the two cats the girls had and hoped sincerly that they where asleep.

When the seat that Katie had occupied was quickly taken by sue the two smiled happily and Dori said, "sure thing dear, feel free to join us" she quickly however took the pot from Kira in order to the past mishaps. She poured a cup for Sue and passed it over, "ready for classes?" she said to her as a means of starting conversation.

If John where to pass by the tree where antoine was he would find him rather dead asleep. Which is an unusual sight for the vampire. The beautiful suroundings of flowers and sunshine and trees with a frightful looking vampire asleep in the center. He appeared however to be dreaming and he kept speaking in his sleep.

Crystal looked back at their parents who were pushing the luggage and wondered briefly if the cats would be okay. After all, they had to be in a separate compartment for the trip. He own cat, a black cat named onyx, was rather fussy on car rides and wouldn't like the trip at all. Shaking her head, she walked past two fifth years and a first year and found a seat for her and her sister.

After putting away his luggage and owl, Jake followed the twins onto the bus. They looked like they were in first year as well, so he decided to introduce himself. He walked up to the twin that was sitting and said "Hi, I'm Jake. Is this your first year here, too?" He added, holding out his hand for her to shake.

Crystal looked up, startled when a blond-haired boy came up to talk to her. "Yeah, this is my first year. I'm Crystal, by the way" She said, shaking his hand. "I've been waiting to go to rose academy all my life. What about you?"

Jake looked embarrassed by her question, and finally said "No, actually. My entire family is non-magical. It took some time for them to believe that i was a wizard. It took a trip to the wand shop for them to believe it." He laughed, then asked "Do you mind if i sit here?"

"Not at all" Crystal replied, scooting over. "So long as my sister can sit with us." As Jake sat down, Crystal launched into an explanation of all she knew about rose academy.

Katie sipped her tea in the comfort of her own rooms, enjoying her book on the latest potion discoveries. She looked at the clock and knew that she had several hours to waste before the students arrived in time for dinner. Going back to her book she shook her head. She loved the solitude of summer, but the castle seemed much more spirited and...right when the students were there. Not that she would ever admit that out loud. She had a reputation, after all.

"I think so," Sue replied. "I've made note of all the interesting astronomical events going on this year that I can use to help teach the students, and managed to fit in the regular syllabus around them. Should be an interesting year, to say the least." She smiled, taking another sip of her tea. She turned to Kira, "And how about you? Are you ready for classes?"

John passed the tree where antoine was sitting. Taking amoment to be shocked at the sight, he shooked his head and moved on. He knew better than to wake a sleeping vampire. He kept moving to a spot much further down and sat down to relax, knowing that soon the castle would be full of students and he wouldn't have this opportunity too often.

"Ugh, I know," Millie said with a theatrical sigh. "If we lose House Cup again, I won't be happy. She offerred a smile to a frightened new girl, in an effort to reassure her.

"D'ya think there will be any new teachers?" she asked Mollie. "Maybe some young, cute male teacher will be there," she said with a giggle.

They were being overly nice to her, something that made Tori feel oddly uncomfortable. She did move however to the seat that was offered with a nervous smile. Might as well try to make friends with the older students, she never knew, they may well end up being in the house she would eventually go into. Looking up Tori saw three first years passing and smiled slightly to herself. At least she wasn't the only new student on the bus now, although it seemed they were busy talking to each other. Hearing the question one girl asked the other she frowned slightly.
"I think Dom said something about one...When he came back at the end of the year." She spoke up, remembering Dom saying how the male teacher had a couple of his friends who were girls swooning over him. But then, it may well have been a trick of Dom's, he always lied about what went on in Rose Acadamy to make it sound more exciting then it really was. It was his way of winding up Tori.

"Ooh, maybe we'll have some cute eye candy during class," Millie said with a mischievious smirk, her hazel eyes shining.

She turned to the new girl sitting near them. "So what's your name? I'm Millie Evans," she said, extending her hand. "I'm from Athenal house." She smiled again, hoping to make the girl feel more comfortable. "I take it this is your first year at Rose Academy?"

Tori laughed softly at Millie's responce. It seemed no matter where you went, teenage girls were still teenage girls.
"I'm Tori Skye, my brother was also in Athenal house I think, Dominic Skye." She took the hand and shook it, pleased to be making friends a lot easier than she'd imagined.
"Yea it is, bit nervous, but I'm looking forward to it." She smiled.

Millie thought for a moment, trying to place her brother. "Hmm...Dominic huh? That sounds familiar," she said. "What year is he?"

Continuing, she said "Well good, you should look forward to the school!" Millie tucked a strand of her short brown hair behind her ear. "Rose Academy is the best!"

((once again I apologize for my absence. I have been working on something special for you guys that I hope you will enjoy that has taken up alot of my time. I will however try and remember to keep posting as well lol))

Mollie had zoned out as she listened to the other two talk of the school and previous people to have gone through. She racked her brain as if trying to remember the name, "Dominic.....was he an older student?" she said in an off hand almost airy way. She shook her head slightly, "I wouldn't be nervous about the school....its really a good place to go, I'm sure you'll be fine. Most people who put in alittle effort get along fine at Rose Academy."

Haiti had been saying goodbye to her parents before skipping onto the bus to catch up with Crystal. When she got to the seat where she sat she noticed another person there as well. She smiled softly and said, "I see you've met my trouble making sister, my names Haiti" she extended her hand towards the stranger.

Kira giggled softly when asked if she was ready for classes, "Am I ever NOT ready for my classes" she said with a bounce, "what sorts of events ARE taking place this year?" she said this out of politeness knowing the other was very much into her work. Not that she really fancied astronomy much, but she guessed it was somewhat interesting.

She smiled at the other two, beginning to settle down a little more.
"Yea, he's already left, last year was his final year." She grinned, remembering Dominic's cheering and celebrating when he had first come home.
"That's what dad said as well, although Dom likes to think he can scare me by telling me all the worst things about the place. Still, I've been looking forwards to this for ages, I'm not gonna let his jokes scare me off." She grinned broadly.

Crystal looked up from talking to jake and saw that Haiti was standing there. She moved over to allow her sit sit down with them, and turned to look at Jake as he introduced himself.

"Hi, I'm Jake." Jake said, smiling at the new girl who was, obviously, the identical twin of crystal. "Trouble making? Should I be concerned?" He asked with a grin, looking over at Crystal who flushed

"I'm not that bad" Crystal said, glaring slightly at haiti, "I just tend to get into very...strange situations. That's all," She said, as if that explained everything.

"So what do you think rose academy will be like?" Jake asked to the two sitting next to him. "I've heard a lot from the professor who explained everything to me, but it's not like experiencing it first-hand"

((I'm gonna move us to the school....and force myself to start posting daily...I have been suffering total writers block and keep making excuses...the only way to get over the damn thing is to keep writing....I was also sort of waiting in hopes of a couple more people....but we cant wait any longer....*dies*))

As the bus ride moved on with the bus load moved onward and into the night filled with the talkativeness of the students aboard. Eventually the bus began to slow down. Toward the station where they would be taken to the school. As the bus stopped Mollie looked out the window at the rose covered castle and smile, "Home sweat home," she said to whoever was listen though not really aimed at the others. "Feels good to be back.....dont you think Millie?"

Another small girl whom had to this point remained in the back of the bus all to herself sighed softly. To those who would ask her she would call herself Jewel...but she prefered no one would ask her. She gently played with the Jeweled necklace that lay around her neck.

Haiti looked at her sister who gave her the look and glared back, "its not all my fault sis" she said and stuck her tongue out. She smiled at Jake, "we're not....ummm....no I cant say that....we do tend to get into situations that seem impossible in others eyes..." she looked out the window but then looked at Jake when he mentioned the school.

"I've heard its the best school around for magic....I've wanted to go since I first heard about it" she smiled happily, "I was estatic when I got my letter"

She felt the bus begin to slow down and looked out the window spotting a rose. This made her bounce happily in her seat. This was a very very unusual mood and move for the queen of brutal honesty but she couldn't contain the excitement she felt.

((oh Jewel is really an NPC but for now I will play her....you'll see why in a bit))

Crystal smiled and shook her head at her sister's antics. 'She really must be excited, she isn't usually this way at all' she though, then looked at the view out the window. Coming into sight was the famed gardens of roses that magically protected the school from outsiders. In the background you could start to see the castle.

As the bus rolled to a stop, Crystal turned to both her sister and Jake and said, "Either of you feel like you have a million butterflies in your stomach?" She said with a half-smile, "Because i do."

Jake chuckled lightly, "I think everyone in our year feels that way. I just hope we don't have to do something crazy for the sorting. Do any of you know how the students are sorted into the different houses? I haven't heard anything about it." He said with a slight frown, not liking not being prepared for the situation. "I just want to show my family that magic isn't just a bunch of fancy tricks. That i'm actually getting a good education," He said as he got up and started to head off of the bus with the rest of the students.

Katie left the dungeons where she had been quite comfortable the last few hours and made her way to the welcoming feast. 'I just hope I get some competent brewers this year to help prevent the inevitable disasters. Why they let first years brew potions is beyond me,' She though as she swept through the halls.

Sue had finished her tea ans had spent several hours conversing with the other professors in the teacher's lounge. After going back to her rooms to freshen up, she also made her way to the welcome feast. After all, the teachers had to be there to make a good impression on the students.

John put away the wii, frowning as he did so. He didn't like taking breaks from his work, but eating was important and so was the welcoming feast. He got up, stretched, and was out the door and on his way.

Haiti followed Jake off the bus falling back into her usual demeanor. Her face was suddenly expressionless. Only her sister would truely know that this was to hide the fact that she was really nervous. What if she wasn't really supposed to be there, what if it was all just a big mistake. She followed the rest in silence.

Mollie on the other hand jumped off the bus in excitement. Bidding the other two farewell for the moment and wishing the new girl good luck at the sorting. She headed off the bus and began the short hike up to the school. She took note briefly of the wonderful weather it was outside.

Antoine had remained asleep under his tree for quite some time. Anyone who had passed would have thought this to be really quite adorable. But as darkness began to sweep over them he awakened and headed to the school knowing it was almost time for the students to arrive. After one last sweep past his classroom he headed to the Great Hall where the students would soon arrive.

Kira bid the others goodbye knowing that it was time for her to go greet the students outside and take the shivering new students to the sorting. She bound her way out of the office with a last, "see you at the feast" before bouncing happily down the hall and out into the courtyard, after all this was her favorite time of the new school year. "First year students this way if you PLEAAAAAAASE" she said in a loud hyperish way that was very very much her norm.

Jewel walked slowly towards the teacher whom had called the first years towards her and showed her the crystal around her neck even though she had been at this job for a couple of years now. In return she recieved a nod from the bubbly teacher who stood next to her.

Dori stood up after the other two had left and she too made her way happily, though not quite as bouncily as Kira, towards the great hall where she would soon be expected to make her speech that was customary of welcoming feasts.

Crystal followed the rest of the first years to the lady shouting for them to follow her. Nervously she looked around at the others and saw varying levels of anxiousness, nervousness and excitement. She also noticed the young girl standing next to the professor. Maybe she was her daughter? She stood between her sister and Jake and as they followed the professor, whispered to them "I'm going to find out all I can about the school. I heard there are tons of secret passages," She added with a mischevious grin.

Jake looked at crystal like she was insane. "You're going to try and break rules already? I'm never going to get any peace hanging out with you, am I?" he smiled.

"Nope," She responded, smiling at him and then turning back forward.

Jake stood there, stunned for a second, and then quickly caught up, wondering 'what have i gotten myself into.'

Katie entered the great hall where several other professors already were seated. Taking her seat next to the headmistress' chair, she glanced at everyone around her and raised an eyebrow at the astronomy professor who waved at her even though they didn't know each other that well.

Sue entered the great hall, smiling at the other professors as she took her seat near the right side of the teacher's table. She waved at katie and got an eyebrow raise in return.

Jake put away all of his tools that he worked on electronics with and headed over to the great hall. Entering the hall right after sue, he sat next to her and started up a conversation.

From behind them Haiti had heard the two minutes brief conversation between then and smiled. She ran up behind Jake and placed a hand on his shoulder, whispering in his ear so that crystal would barely hear if not any at all, "See I told you so, shes a troublemaker at heart" After this she fell back to walking behind them and following the teacher into the school, with each step she felt like her feet where made of lead. She looked at the young girl who seemed to know her way around this place and yet she looked so young, not older then 6 or 7.

Antoine was seated next to Katie in his customary seat but he didn't say much more then a hello. He was not the type of person to say much. He was certainly not an unkind person he just didn't spare too many words. Instead he placed his elbows on the table with his hands together and let his chin rest on his fingertips.

Kira was bobbling along in front of the first years, "come on guys its ok, nothing to worry about" she said with a very cheerful demeanor. She led them to a small room located next to the great hall though one with a door leading into the great hall. "Please wait here a moment, I must see if they are ready for you. " She went into the great hall to see that The headmistress was still not in her seat but that she swept in a few minutes later.

Mollie was already seated in her seat in the great hall. She looked around and smiled happily. "I wish they would hurry up with the sorting I am STARVING" she said to the nearest person. Though she didn't really mean it, she loved the sorting and new it to be a very important part of the school.

Dori Swept into the great hall after some of the students had arrived running fairly late on this evening. Though the wonder of awe as she passed the students was still much of the same. Those who had been to the school knew her to be a great witch with much magical power. She smiled as she passed the students and took her seat next to Katie. "Good Evening dear"

Katie looked around at the small waiting room, hoping that the sorting would be soon. The worst part was always the wait. She glanced around and saw Haiti whisper something to Jake, but decided to ignore it for now. She also noticed that everyone seemed nervous. Everyone, that is, except for one girl who looked far too young to be a first year. She seemed to know her way around, and had jewels around her next. "Whose that?" She asked Haiti and Jake.

Jake laughed at Haiti's statement about Crystal being a troublemaker. When he heard Crystal's question he looked over to the girl she was asking about and said "i don't know. Muggleborn, remember? But she does seem way to young to be going to school here. Perhaps she's just really advanced?" Jake offerered, then turned to Haiti "Do you know?"

Katie looked at the smiling headmistress, the only one who could adress her that way and live to tell about it, and said "I'm doing fine. I wish that they would get on with the sorting though," She said, looking toward the doors where the students would walk through any minute.

Sue and Jake were engrossed in conversation about their lesson plans, and didn't seem to mind the wait in the least. They were somewhat good friends, and wanted the time to catch up.

Haiti shook her head when adressed, "I am afraid I do not know either" she said in a short and sweet and to the point manner. Now that they where forced to wait at all her excited manner was whereing thin and her usual demeanor of brutal honesty was returning.

Dori Smiled softly, "you know that its not proper for the sorting to be rushed....its the most important ceremony this school possesses"

Kira bound back into the room excitedly, "the school is waiting for you...so if you would please follow me" The girl they had been speaking of followed the group without saying a word. Kira led them towards a small stool in the front of the hall and turned back to the students, "Now if you would please when I call your name take a seat on the bench where you will be sorted into your houses."

The small girl walked over to stand near the bench as Kira called out the name, "Dorian, Jake"

Crystal followed the professor into the hall and looked around at all the other students and teachers. They all seemed fairly nice, and she didn't really know which house she wanted to go into yet. She was startled out of her thoughts when she heard Jake's name being called from the professor standing next to a stool. She watched as he walked up to the stool and crossed her fingers, wishing him luck and that they would be in the same house.

Jake followed the professor into the hall as well, making sure that he looked somewhat presentable. He noticed all the students, and started to feel a bit queasy. What if he really didn't have magic at all? Sure, they said he had qualified for the school and he doubted they made mistakes, but...what if? He looked up just as his name was called. 'dang, I'm first...' He though, making his way over to be sorted. Sitting down on the stool, he awaited his fate.

Katie sighed. "I know that, but it still doesn't make it any easier," She admitted just as the doors opened and Kira lead all the first years through. She turned from the headmistress, becoming silent and watching as Kira called out the name of an obviously muggle-born student and he walked up to the stool, nervous as the rest of his fellow first-years. He looked sensible and like he had a decent amount of drive to succeed. She hoped that he would be in her house.

Sue looked up as the first years walked through the door. She clasped her hands together, excited about the sorting. She noticed two identical first-years, and though to herself 'They seem very familiar...' Ignoring the though, she paid attention as the first student walked up to the stool and sat upon it.

John stopped his conversation with Sue as the first years walked into the hall. He always looked forward to the sorting, as it let him see all of the students that would soon be joining his class. He took a quick look at the crowd and noticed that it was fairly large this year. He was so obsorbed in his observations that he almost missed kira calling the name of the first student. He snapped out of his thoughts as the boy, Jake, walked up to the stool.

The small girl walked up to where Jake was seated and whispered a soft, "I'll be alright" although her voice was rather cold like ice. She placed her hands on his forehead and closed her eyes. She was deep in thought but said little. The jeweled necklace began to glow slightly around her neck making all the rest of the lights in the room seem dim.....or maybe it was that they where dimed, those watching would not be truely sure. During the time Jake would feel a slight burning where Jewel's hands lay. The necklace, though still around her neck began to float and the color suddenly burned deep purple. Those sitting at the andite house began to cheer for the new student who would be joining them momentarily. Jewel took a deep breath and let go of Jake's head.

Kira smiled at Jake and motioned towards the cheering crowd at the Anditi table. She smiled, "welcome to the Anditi house." She then called out name after name after Jake had been called until she finally reached the twins, "Sephrone, Crystal"

Haiti nudged her sister gently and whispered in her ear, "Good luck"

((ooc : There's a new girl?))

Crystal, after seeing Jake's sorting and that it was the girl's responsibility to sort the students, started to feel slightly less nervous. She hoped that Haiti, Jake and her would still hang out even if they were all in different houses.

"Thanks," She said to Haiti when she wished her good luck. "You too," She smiled back.

Walking up to the stool her legs felt oddly like they were made of lead. She pushed down her nervousness and walked on, though. After all, hundreds had done this before her and hundreds more would after her. She could do it. At least, she felt that way until she sat down on the stool. Waiting for the girl to sort her, the most horrible scenarios were running through her head.

Jake smiled as he got up off the stool, thanked the girl whose name he still did not know, and walked over to the anditi table. As he sat down he let out a sigh of releif he hadn't realised he'd been holding in.

Jake watched from the anditi table as student after student was called. The worst part of being the first sorted was that it got a little boring after a while. He paid attention though when it started to get to the s'. Soon enough, Crystal's name was called and he was awaiting to see what house she was in with baited breath.

Katie smiled very slightly as the blond-haired muggle born child, whose name she now realized was Jake, was sorted into her house. Just as she had predicted. If he was driven enough, he would make a great student. What she was interested in was the opportunity to observe each one and get a good judge of their character. She could usually pick out the troublemakers, slackers, teachers pets and the studious ones from what she learned at the sorting. And she was fairly accurate, too. The first boy to be sorted seemed fairly decent, but the girl who now sat at the stool would have some interesting times at rose academy, she could tell.

As Jake left the stool, Sue hoped that he had what it took to deal with having Professor Stockwell as a head of House. She would listen to your problems and offer sensible solutions, but if you tried crossing her you were in for a world of trouble.

As the sorting continues, Sue clapped for every student, especially those in the house she was in as a student, heron.

As the name of one of the identical twin girls was called out by kira, she realized why they looked familiar. She had taught both of their parents when they had attended school here.

John wasn't particularly interested in what houses the students were in, after all he taught all of them without house bias. He tried his hardest to memorize all of their names and make a good impression on them on the first day. He listened through the rest of the sorting, and it really was something to behold. He kept watching as the first of two identical twins sat on the stool and waited to be sorted.

Jewel was starting to look strained, and even her "it'll be alright" was less cold and more worn. She walked forward and placed her hands on Crystal's head just as she had the others. She closed her eyes and thought deeply about the process at hand. The one in front of her was sure to have a knack for trouble she could read this in her thoughts. Once again the room seemed to dim under the blindingness of the crystal around her neck. This time the crystal shown with a deep blood red appearance meaning the girl was to go to heron house.

Kira turned to crystal an smiled, "Welcome to heron house" she said as she pointed towards the table that was now cheering loudest. She then turned back to her list and read what was surprisingly the last name on the list, "Salphrone, Haitnia"

Haiti winced as her full name was read but then slowly made her way towards the girl in front of the stool. She sat down and her stomach dropped, what if nothing happened and the crystal remained motionless. She noticed vaguely that the girl behind her seemed to be breathing rather heavily. The girl placed her hand on her head and she felt a burning running through her although it seemed to be getting weaker.....

Jewel looked at the lat person in front of her, there had seemed to be so many students this year. This process drained her but this year seemed particularly difficult on her. She placed her hands on the girls head, thankful that this was the last one. She closed her eyes as she had done before but something was different this time.....she was drawing on every bit of energy she had left to sort this girl......suddenly.....she had no energy left and felt herself collapse before she could stop herself.

Dori saw her falling and before she hit the floor had conjured an invisable pillow. She stood up and called for silence in the hall, which was imediately given to her. "For now the new girl will sit with her sister......her sorting will have to be postponed until further notice...."

Kira's eyes went wide as she rushed foward to pick up the girl on the floor and rushed with her out of the room towards the hospital wing. It was with entire seriousness that she did this task and with none of her normal bubbly demeanor.

Haiti stood there shell shocked for a moment before going to sit down with her sister. She was silent as she sat amongst them.....her sister would be able to tell the fear in her eyes. What if it was true.....what if she really was not supposed to be here. Even as the plates filled up in front of them she hardly touched her food.

((Thought I'd add alittle spice xP))

Crystal sat there for a few moments, shocked beyond words when the girl sorting all of them collapsed while sorting her sister. As haiti walked over to the heron table, crystal moved over to make room for her to sit next to her.

She noticed that her sister looked worried, nervous and afraid. She couldn't blame her, though, as she'd feel the same in her situation. She also noticed that her sister wasn't eating any of her food. She placed a comforting arm on her shoulder and tried to smile reassuringly, but she got the feeling that she failed.

Saying anything would be moot at this point, so she just sat there and offered her sister her silent support against the stares and curious looks and whispers being sent their way.

Jake wanted badly to run over to the heron table and talk to his two new friends, but the one time he actually tried an older student told him that it would be best to stay put. He tried to eat and not think about the fact that haiti had yet to be sorted, but he only managed to finish half of his meal. While they were waiting for any news, he couldn't help but wonder why the girl sorting them had collapsed. Did the sorting really take that much energy? Had this happened before?

Katie stood and ran after dori and jewel to the hospital wing. Healing potions would have to be administered immediately, and they couldn't afford to waste any time.

Running as fast as she could and catching up with dori, who was also running at top spead, she asked "Any initial ideas for what happened? This has never happened before, and I figured you would need my expertise dealing with the potions aspect of the healing" She said as they spedd toward the hospital wing, an unconscious jewel with them.

Sue was shocked into silence and she watched the scene around her turn back into some semblance of normalcy. She knew she was needed in the hall to keep the other students under control and make sure no rumors that were too wild spread, but she wished she knew what was going on. She glanced over to haiti and wondered what was going through the girl's mind right now. It was every first year's worst nightmare, to not be sorted once you get here.

John knew that it was probably simply exhaustion due to the sheer amount of students that had to be sorted, but he was worried about jewel. The girl was only seven, and selected for the job due to her unique abilities. She had a lot of responsibilities placed on her shoulder and it can take it's tool. He sincerely hope that she would be fine, and sat in the hall absent-mindedly playing with his food and waiting for any news.
