Kira looked at Katie with a look that was not sad but rather pondering the situation, "Well, we do know it takes someone of unusual brain power to perform the sorting, that much is certain" she placed her fingers under her chin and looked at the girl. What really had caused the girl to collapse? Was it really exhaustion? "Perhaps her brain is faltering.....it may be that it will soon be time for the crystal to take a new owner...." She looked at Katie, "As you are certainly well aware I can make a potion but I am no where near your talent......and I fail at healing potions most dearly." she looked at the girl who lay quite motionless, "she may need something to help her situation when she awakens....perhaps something for energy......though we dont truly know whats wrong with her...."

Dori waited in the great hall long enough to make sure of the fact that the students had returned to a state of somewhat normalcy before heading out of the hall after the other two. She arrived in the hospital wing a sort while after, "how is she?

Haiti thought back to a few hours prior when the three of them where so happily enjoying the bus ride. Was she going to be sent home? Whould she be forced to leave her sisters side? After all the two of them had never been apart before. She noticed Jake trying to get up and being stopped by the older student....part of her was glad for this....she really didn't want to talk.....she was also thankful that her sister was beside her and that she understood her need to be silent.

Molly was in shock when the sorting for the first time ever since she had been there had failed. Every first year she knew dreaded that it would happen but never before had it actually happened before. She felt sorry for the student as she sat with her sister terrified of her fate.

Antoine saw the situation but knew he was better off staying put. He looked around at the students. He knew each of them was wondering about the situation at hand but trying to appear normal. The silence that rang through was peirced by the whispers of the students.

Crystal picked at her food for a few minutes, wating a few bites but not really paying attention to anything else. The conversations around her started to return to normal. She heard several students talking about the amazing food, their families, and other nonsensical topics, but she didn't join in.

She looked around the great hall and noticed Jake tring to get up but being stopped by an older student. She almost smiled at this, grateful at his concern, and decided to send him a note later when they found out something.

Focusing her attention back to the heron table, she ate a few bites of food and hoped that her sister would feel good enough to do the same.

Jake ate at a slow pace, but was not affected by the events as strongly as the other two. Eventually he started to join in on the other conversation, albeight with a slightly distracted dimeanor. When the conversations started to turn to families, he wasn't sure whether or not he should mention that he was muggle-born. Was that looked down upon? It didn't seem like it, but you never know..

Deciding to risk it, he said "I'm the first wizard in my family."

Katie nooded, replying "I'll try my best to make some energy and general healing potions as quickly as possible." With that, they both continued to run in silence until they reached the hospital wing. Opening the door, they entered the ward and set crystal down on one of the beds.

When dori ran in and asked how jewel was, katie responded "We don't know what caused the collapse, but she seems to be stable for now. I'm going to brew energy and general healing potions for her until we know more." She said, and with that swept into the potions lab attached to the hospital wing.

Sue ate her meal and made sure to be observant and help keep order when the headmistress and deputy headmistress were both gone. Several students were looking anxious for news, but she knew they would just have to wait. When jewel was okay, they would be informed.

John continued to absent-mindedly eat his food, knowing that the other professors would keep an eye on the students. He continued to ponder the mystery of jewel's collapse, and couldn't come up with anything other than her mind and magic failing.

Haiti still looked at her food and realized that she was slightly hungry. She ate a little though she was almost afraid that if she ate too much her stomach was going to make every bit of it come back up. She did pick at her food and sat there in continued silence. She heard the conversation return to normal but she still felt the many pairs of eyes on her.

Kira looked at the headmistress and the look was returned as if they had the same thoughts running through there head. She walked over to the bed and knelt beside the girl who looked no older then a small child. She placed her hand on the girls chest and felt the shallow breathing as if each breath was hard to take, "What do you think caused it?" she said softly.

Dori looked at the girl for a moment, "I can only speculate as can the rest of you...." she said softly in a tone that was almost solemn, "The two twins....we knew when we sent those letters that those two where of incredible power....stronger then this school has seen in many a years...." she looked at the girl as she continued, "it is perhaps that this child could not handle the second after she had sorted the first of them.....I do not wonder that she collapsed.....even if she is the strongest of will and mind."

Crystal couldn't imagine how her sister must feel in the situation, and all she could do was hope that it was resolved soon. She knew her sister was magical enough to be here, many of their adventures had proved that, but the mind is a strange thing and she knew that haiti was probably thinking that she was going to go home. She went back to her food and, eating a bit more, determined to wait with her sister until this thing was figured out. No matter how long that took.

Jake figured out that being muggle-born apparently didn't mean much in America. In England, it was a big issue, but not here. For that he was thankful, and tried to be a part of the conversations at his table, which ranged from families to pets to what classes they were looking forward to the most. Throughout dinner, however, he shot glances over to the heron table. He couldn't seem to get his mind off of what had happened. He knew that when dinner was over, he would go over there and talk to the twins that had become his friends.

Katie was shocked when she heard the headmistress' assessment of why jewel had collapsed. The twins were that powerful? She has sensed that they were talented, it was obvious, but powerful enough to cause jewel to collapse? She decided it was best to start on the potions and, taking her leave, went over to the potions lab of the hospital wing. She tied her long blue hair back into a ponytail and started to get to work on potions to regain mental, physical, and magical strength. As well as potions for exhaustion.

Haiti looked at her sister and the look in her eyes told her sister every thought running through her head. Not only was she terrified of being sent home she looked near ready to cry. It took alot to make Haiti...the queen of sarcasm and bluntness...smile let alone cry...mostly she just scowled. Now however it was not a scowl in those eyes it was every bit a tear that was fighting so hard against her no matter how much she willed it to not be so. Was she really not magical enough to be here.....could it really be....would she be sent home to go.....to a muggle school....a squib....tainted in her own world. At long last the tears that she had been fighting ran down her cheek and she laid her head in her arm as if to try and hide them....her weakness.

Molly looked acrossed the room and saw the young girl with her head in her arms and her heart went to her. She wanted to go acrossed the room and tell her that it was going to be ok....that the headmisstress would not have made a mistake but she wasn't sure she wouldn't be lying. Would that make matters worse?

Antoine stood in his place as if wanting to go check on the girl in the hospital wing, wondering if they might need any of his exportise...but then he once again thought better of it and retook his seat. His eyes on the girl in the room, the unsorted one. He looked familiar to him, like someone he once had....perhaps the girls parent. It was striking how identical she was to her sister. Could it be possible that one was fit for the school and the other was not? Surely this was not the case.

Kira looked taken aback by the words the headmistress had spoken. She fumbled around in her mind with that thought, was there really such strength in the power of the twin girls that they could cause such damage to a person whos mind is chosen by the crystal. It would take a tremendous power....one that she could not even fathom....for such a thing to happen, "Are they....really that strong?"

Dori looked at Kira as she spoke as if trying to speculate the correct answer to the question, "there is without a doubt, more power in one of them the the entire student body right now. Together, they are a force that no one person" she caught the look on Kira's face then, one of doubt, "no...not even myself....holds that amount of power."

"but isn't it dangerous to have them here around the students?"

"Would you rather let them lose on the world without our guidence?"

"No...you're right of course....you always are" she looked over at the girl at this point her mind whirling with all the new information given her.

Crystal was the only one that had ever seen her sister act that vulnerable, and for Haiti to act like that in front of the entire school showed just exactly how much the situation bothered her. Crystal frowned deeply, then noticed how everyone seemed much quieter than usual.

Finally, the potions mistress came into the room once more, and Crystal noticed that she stared at her sister not with a scowl wizard kind usually reserved for squibs, but with a slightly impressed look.

what could that be about? She leaned over and whispered her observations to Haiti.

Jake, too, had noticed professor stockwell entering the great hall and stopped in the middle of a very interesting conversation about quiddich to pay closer attention. She had on her normal composed face, and jake gleaned nothing from her looks around the great hall.

He noticed however, that Crystal leaned over to whisper something to Haiti. What was that about? Did she notice something he hadn't? Just another on the list of questions he had to ask the twins.

He went back to the conversation about quiddich, suddenly wishing that he could read minds.

It would be so convenient.

Kate brewed her potions as quickly as possilble, handing them over to the headmistress as they were completed. Eventually she had finished them all and, excusing herself from the hospital wing, swept over to the great hall to check on the state of the rest of the students.

She went through the doors with her usual scowl on her face, sensing that nothing was too out of control. When her eves landed on the twins, however, she couldn't help but be impressed. If the headmistress was right, these were going to be the most interesting and powerful students to walk through the walls of rose academy.

Haiti knowticed that look on Professor Stockwell's face before the whisper in her ear. It definately put her slightly at ease though it also confused her a little. No one ever looked at her like that. She felt her stomach rumble and realized just how hungry she was, she ate a little food which only made the knots in her stomach worse. Something was off but the relief in that moment was enough for now.

Antoine looked at Kate as she entered the room and also knowticed the odd look he threw at the twin girl. He wondered what he knew about her, did she know something. He wanted deeply to bombard her with questions, but felt it best to reserve his silence for the moment.

Kira took the potions from Kate and looked at the headmistress, "leave her to me, with these from kate I can take care of Jewel. You go back to the students, no doubt the professors are curious about the current situation. Put there minds at ease."

Dori nodded, "Thank you kira" and then she swept from the room towards the great hall. Once inside she stood in front of the great hall and adressed the staff and students, "I would like you all to know that Jewel is going to be alright as for the new student, she will be sorted once Jewel makes a recovery, for now she will join her sister. As for the rest of us it is time for us to go to bed, if the house leaders will lead the students to there dorms"

Crystal heard the announcement and almost immediately, all heads turned toward them again. After a second though, people started to file out of the hall, following the house leaders.

Crystal got into line for the Heron students, and looked to see if her sister was beside her. It would be nice to go to sleep after this stressful day.

Hopefully, tomorrow this would all be sorted out.

Jake got into line with the other students from his house, as he doubted he could talk to the twins right now. Maybe he could catch them in the common room that all of the houses shared?

He was swept up in a conversation about the difference between quiddich and quidpod and his attention was sufficiently distracted.

professor stockwell stood up to lead the students of her house to their common room, "this way. Follow me" she said, watching the students file behind her. With purpose she sturned and left the great hall, knowing all of the students would follow.

Hopefully Haiti would be in her house.

Sue got up and, not being the leader of any house, went to her chambers to finalize her lesson plans for tomorrow. She sat down and decided to do a star reading, and she occasionally did. Today several events had taken place that could affect the future. She was almost as good at reading the stars as a centuar.

Not that she would tell that to a centaur.

As she started to read the stars, she nearly fell over in shock.

Professor bisson, caring for the welfare of jewel, rrelaxed when he heard the good news. He went to his chambers and, as he fell asleep, hoped that whatever happened would be best for the future.

Dori watched as the students left the great hall but did not move herself. She sat with her chin resting on her fingertips deep in thought. Was she makeing the right choice here, should she be really letting those students into her school, not knowing what was going to become of them? She closed her eyes deep in thought, there was definately no use to regret the desission and now that it was made she was sure to stick through with it. After a long moment she stood from her seat, cast one glance around the desserted hall and swept to her own room, though she would find that little sleep would come to her.

Antoine called for the Athenol students to follow him, his soft voice heard by the first years for the first time, many of which shivered in moaning at the sight of him which he was far to used to to care at this point. He smiled in a way that he thought was reassuring and yet this only caused them more fear. A seventh year girl giggled at this having known the upmost truth. The group followed Professor Stockwell towards the shared common room.

"OHHHH Heron House Follow me!" She did this sort of excited twirl that turned out wrong and landed her on her bum. "Oww...that hurt,"
The nearest student offered her a hand up out of sympathy. After this there was no more attempts at being umm....graceful. She cast a last look at Dori who was deep in thought before leading the group after Antoine's group.


Haiti followed her sister in silence, the tears that had only a short while ago had been in her eyes was now all but gone, she was more contemplative then anything at the moment. She currently was homeless but it seemed to her that this was not a permanent state. She walked in silence behind professor stockwell without saying much though she did notice the occational looks that she sent her way and wondered what they meant.

She scarcely paid attention as they where led to the common room and then the shared common room which led to the separate common rooms was explained. Even when they where led to the Heron Common room where she would be sleeping on the couch for the moment she hardly paid attention. She realized that she was extremely tired and that the couch was extremely plush and comfortable.

She was asleep for god only knows how long when the dream started. She wasn't sure of her location but she was walking down a dark hall towards a light as the far end of the hallway. Something waited for her there, though what that something was she was entirely unsure, all she knew was that she wanted nothing more then to turn and run as fast as she could in the opposite direction.

Her feet led her foward one after another. Her hand touched the door which was scourching hot. Then she saw it........

She let out a peirceing scream that filled the deserted dormroom. She shivered in a cold sweat, unable to calm herself.

Crystal walked behind kira along with the rest of Heron house, following her until they had reached their common room. After kira had told them which common room was theirs, she gave her sister a hug along with her deepest sympathies about what had happened. She went up to her dorm and, hoping her sister would be okay, went to sleep.

Crystal woke up almost immediately after hearing the scream that echoed throughout Heron dorms, and probably could be heard in the other houses as well. She immediately recognized her sister's voice, and knew something was wrong.

"Haiti!" She called, jumping out of bed to go help her sister and running down the stairs as fast as she could. She saw when she got there that her sister was awake and fine, but looked terrified.

"was it a vision?" She whispered, since this would not be the first time that her sister had had a premonition. She ignored the other students coming down the stairs to see what the commotion was

Jake and all the other first year anditi boys were hanging out, simply getting to know eachother and having fun. He heard haiti's scream and immediately told thee others to be quiet so he could listen further. It didn't happen again, but he was still worried.

"It's probably nothing" his roommate said, though also looking concerned.

"You're right," Jake admitted, shaking his head and going back to the card game they had been playing. He wasn't convinced, but his roommates obviously were.

Professor stockwell woke when she heard the scream. She surmised that it was not from a member of her house, but as deputy headmistress she should probably go check on it anyway.

Donning a robe as she left her rooms, she went to go find the source.

Professors Glin and Bisson hadn't heard the scream, as their chambers were too far away. They slept on peacefully, unaware.

Haiti looked at the group of people forming around behind crystal. "It was....just a dream" she wishpered but she through a meaningful look at her sister that said that she believed it was more then that. She looked still looked very white, with no color in her face. Her eyes looked alittle hallow, as if she was deathly afraid of something. "I just had a bad dream..."

Kira had been in her chamber painting, what else? When she heard the scream she swept from the room, her pallet and brush forgotten and ignored. When she reached the scene her eyes fell upon Haiti who was white with fright and shock. She thought for a moment. Was it just a dream? OR could it have been something more. She threw a look at Katie, a searching look as if determining that she was thinking the same things. She too did not want to alert the students of the possible danger.

Antoine was no where near the castle on his own choice. He always had the urge for blood under the moonlight. He knew he must never be near the castle at night and this he knew, he would never cause harm to the children or professors. Not when he was so greatful to them for there acceptance of him. So at the moment he had no clue what the workings of the castle where bringing he would find out in the morning.

Molly was among the students watching the scene around Haiti. She felt it was her duty as a Hall Monitor to find out what was going on with the students. She stood throwing looks at Professors stockwell and Ronantra.

Dori was in her office, not sleeping, but she never heard the scream...even though she sensed something was wrong.

Crystal sent her professors a meaningful look, trying to get them to get all of the other students away and back to bed. By the look that her sister had sent her, she knew it had been a vision. And based on her reaction, a rather strong and disturbing one at that.

"I'll get you some water" She said, knowing that always helped after the visions.

A house elf appeared with a tray of water as soon as she had said that, and brought the tray over to her sister.

Jake, as the rest of his roommates were distracted, acted like he was going to bed, closed the curtains around his bed, and snuck out to see what was going on.

he wasn't placed in anditi for nothing.

He made his way through the common room shared between all houses, and found the most noise coming from heron's common room. A heron student left at that monent, leaving the door open just a little bit. Taking the opportunity, jake snuck in and stayed well hidden, wanting to know what was going on.

Professor Stockwell was growing increasingly annoyed. She could tell the twins didn't want a crowd.

using her most authoritative voice, she yelled "Back to bed! all of you! there is nothing to see here. And if i hear of any of using asking the twins questions you will have to answer to me." She finished that statement with a glare that promised pain to anyone who defied her.

almost immediately student turned and all but fled the common room. All except for Jake.

Molly grumbled when she was sent away. She really wanted to be there to find out what was wrong with the girl....to be forbidden to question her even after was just an outcry but the look on Professor Stockwells face said not to disobey so grumbling she turned and walked into her dorm room.

Haiti looked up at Professor Stockwell with gratitude but the fear was never far from her eyes. She looked back at Crystal as she spoke, but she felt that the other professors should know as well. Would they believe her? Or would they simply find her to be incredibly crazy? She spoke though and held her voice as still as she could though she shook badly, "Something....It was a person...no it wasn't human....I dont know exactly what it was....but it was most certainly...evil....more evil then anything I've ever felt....Its comeing..."

Kira looked at Katie meaningfully. Her thoughts whirling, how was it that this girl could see visions....such power is only granted to a few. She shook slightly, most of the time this would seem crazy a farce by a student, but something about the way she spoke told Kira that in the very least she believed her own words. She spoke softly as if not to alarm, "We need to tell Dori...she needs to know"

Crystal gave a sigh of relief when the professors seemed to believe haiti was telling the truth, and that she was having real visions.

She debated internally for a minute as Haiti drank the water. Finally deciding, she said "Haiti...has had visions ever since we were little. They've always been extremely tough on her. I don't think she's ever had one that powerful before now."

She wanted to go on, but something told her not to give away too much information. She didn't know if she could trust the professors yet.

She did give one final warning though, "Everything she's ever seen had turned out to be accurate."

Jake did his best not to gasp at the information revealed, as it would give away the fact that he was there. As quitely as he could, he made his way out the door and ran back to his dorm, panting.

Haiti could see vision? that was something he didn't see coming at all.

He would still be their friend, of course. Whatever this evil was, he would help them through this.

Katie returned Kira's look. They both knew accurate visions was a gift granted to only a few. It seemed consistant with what Dori had said earlier, and she knew they had to see her.

"Let me get a peper up, headache and calming potion for her, and then we can go to Dori. I agree though, she needs to be notified." She said, sweeping out of the room dramatically and returning a moment later with the mentioned potions. Handing them to Haiti she said "Drink these, you'll feel better."

Kira smiled softly at Haiti knowing that the girl was scared out of her mind. She nodded at Kaiti as she left and then returned with the potions for Haiti. "Its alright dear, Professor Stockwell here can brew a spectacular potion" she spoke without a hint of her normal scatterbrained heir. She waited paitently for the girl to take the potions, wanting to calm her a bit.


Haiti looked skeptical at first but after another bout of shakiness she decided to trust professor stockwell and took the two potions handed to her. She felt a bit better afterwards, physically anyways, but mentally she was still shaken. She looked up at Professor Stockwell weakly and whispered softly, "Thank you for that"

Kira smiled softly, "Well, lets go talk to dori" she said softly and bekoned both of them, "the two of you had better come with us too." She led the two of them out of both common rooms and down many different hallways towards Dori's office. It seemed to Haiti that the whole travel seemed to take forever. But eventually they reached Dori's office.


When she heard the knock on the door Dori looked up but it was almost as if she was expecting it. "Come in" she called without a trace of the unease that she felt in her voice. She waited anxiously for the others to come in, watching the doorway. When the others walked in she saw the fear in Haiti's eyes and she didn't look surprised, almost as if she expected something like this. She spoke to Haiti directly, "What did you see child....."

Kira looked shocked at the fact that Dori knew what had happened but then composed herself, knowing that this was Dori that they where talking about.

Haiti looked up at Dori and repeated the same thing she told the other two, "Something evil....I dont know...what it wants....or even who it is....only...that its the worst possible evil I have ever felt...."

Dori looked at her, "and your sure...absolutely"

"Without a doubt....they haven't been wrong...ever before..."

"Very well"

"Of course," Katie said, a bit of snugness evident in her voice as Haiti thanked her. "My potions never fail to do their job." She was quiet until kira suggested that they go to Dori, after which she followed the rest. From her vantage point at the back of the group, she could easily react if Haiti had another bout of dizziness.

Crystal was glad that the potions seemed to help her sister a bit, and chuckled at deputy headmistresses' response. She helped Haiti off of the couch and as they walked to dori's office, she kept an eye on her.

As the reached the headmistress' office, Crystal noticed that the office really was astonishing, but couldn't bring herself to care enough about it at the moment. Her sister was her main priority, and she could see how scared Haiti was.

They all listened as Haiti gave an account of her dream, and how her visioned had never failed before.

Katie looked around at the group, all somber as the headmistress seemed to consider what Haiti said.

"If i may suggest something," She started. "We all know that based on the fact that her visions have never failed before, we can safely assume that this one will come true as well. I suggest that we take precautions to make sure that this evil is not allowed to run rampant, and double the protection for the school." She stated.

she turned to the headmistress, "At least until we know more datails."

Jake, meanwhile, had snuck back into his room without waking any of his roommates. He tried to go to sleep, but it alluded him. Was haiti okay? what had the vision meant?

All these and more plauged him as he finally drifted off.

Dori looked at Katie, "Oh without a doubt, at least until this is known...." she looked contemplative. "I think we will need to double our efforts, alert the other professors....no...just alert Sue, John, and Antoine....I have known them a long time....they are the least likely to be swayed to the other side...yes even antoine....be his background what it is...I do not feel he will betray this school."

Haiti sat looking at the floor, it seemed to her a bit of relief though only just a bit, they where going to believe her...and they where going to do something about it. She only hoped it would be enough. She looked at her sister, trying to read what her thoughts where though she never was very good at this. She closed her eyes at that moment.

Kira looked at Dori as she spoke, "I will see to it that these two reach there dorm safely, and that no one questions them. Then I will search out antoine...although...it may be morning before my return." She spoke nothing else but she knew Dori knew what she spoke of.

Dori looked at Kira, "Very well...but before hand...." she turned to Katie, "Do you have a potion for dreamless sleep prepared? I feel that these girls need both a good uninterupted nights sleep. After will you retrieve Sue and John and bring them here. We will need to place much more protection on this place, but we need to keep it between us in case we have someone working on the inside."

Katie nodded, and left the room to go get some of the potion. She went first to the storage room behind her classroom, grabbing two vials labeled "dreamless sleep" and putting them in her robe pocket.

After words she made her way up to the corridor where muggle studies was held. She rolled her eyes at the various appliances displayed, and knocked on John's door. he woke almost immediately.

"Yes?" John asked, half asleep still and looking at her like she had grown a second head. "What are you doing here"

"You're needed in the headmistresses office. she'll explain there," Katie said curtly, then went to go find Sue.

Professor Bisson headed toward the headmistresses office. Once her got here, he saw Crystal and Haiti sitting there. He turned to the headmistress and said "What is this about?"

Katie, meanwhile, trekked up to the astronomy tower and knocked on the door, waking Sue up.

Sue appreared at the door, much more awake than the muggle studies professor as she was used to being up at night.

"What is it? Is there a problem?" She asked Katie, concerned.

"Dori will tell you all about it," She said. They both walked together back to Dori's office.

Once there, Sue took a seat and waited patiently for Dori to explain what was going on.

Professor stockwell walked over to where the twins were sitting and took the two vials of dreamless sleep out of her pocket.

She handed one to each of the twins and said "Take these once you are back in your dorms and lying down, as they take effect almost immediately." She looked at them as if she were determining whether or not they were able to be trusted with one of her potions.

She looked at Dori and said "that should be enough to give them a full night rest with no problems. And the others are here, as you requested"

Crystal looked at the vial in her hands and thanked the potions professor for it.

She didn't think that her sister would have another vision, but the potion would prevent her from having nightmares about what she had seen. She could tell that she needed the potion herself as well, if only because she normally wouldn't be able to sleep as she was so full of worry about her sister.

This was one thing they couldn't help each other with.

I was good that the professors seemed to be believing them, though. Most adults didn't, as visions were such a rare talent.

She knew that her sister was right and that there was something evil coming. Whether for them or the school, she didn't know.

She was glad the professors were going to increase protection on the school, too. That made her feel a bit safer. Though she had a feeling if this thing was coming, it would find a way around the protections.

((I'm thinking of making my genius young teacher evil lol, not sure yet though....like an accomplice on the inside type deal))

Haiti took the potion from Professor Stockwell gratefully, "thank you" she said in no more then a whisper. It was unlikely that her visions whould come to her again tonight, though she knew that even a dreamless night would not stop them if they should, though she was worried about regular dreams tonight. A night of peaceful slumber was really what she needed at the moment.

Kira looked at the Dori one last time and said, "I better get on my way if I have any hopes of finding antoine before morning." She looked at the twins, "we'd better get you too back to your dorm, I speculate the other students are dying to talk to you" she rolled her eyes, "dont let them bother you, you dont have to answer there questions.....though I will be bidding them high punishment to anyone that questions you"

Dori nodded at Kira, "He will need to be informed of the situation, you may do so if you wish but send him immediately up here the moment he reaches the school"

Kira once again nodded, "Will do" and with that she led the twins out of the room and towards there dorms. She didn't speak for her mind was so full of other things as they made there way through the dark hallways. She did smile softly at the twins every once in awhile in encouragement. Once they where just outside the dorms she did stop them however, "You did a good thing to tell us what you saw Haiti. Now, whatever it is, we can be prepared to take the thing head on. Please, if you have any more visions dont hesitate to tell either Professor Stockwell or myself. Please though...we dont know who can be trusted though....we may be headed for a dark time...so keep this between us"

Haiti nodded at Kira, "I understand" she shivered slightly.

The three of them headed into the dorm where in the common dorm a group of students was gathered all seated in chairs, eagerly awaiting there return. Molly of course was at the head of this waiting for any news, as she fully thoughts was her right. At once Kira turned rather scary, which was so uncharacteristic of her. Though no one would doubt her authority at the moment, "All of you get to be this instant, not one of you has permission to be awake at this hour. If in five minutes I find any student not in bed it will be detention, also if a single one of you questions these two it wont be just one detention, you'll be in detention for a month. AND DONT THINK I WONT HESITATE TO SEND YOU TO PROFESSOR STOCKWELL FOR THEM!" She smiled at this knowing that professor stockwell terrified the students to know end. She knew the threat was empty they would most likely be serving with her but it seemed to have its effect, the students where gone before the minute passed. She turned to the twins, "off to bed with the two of you, you two need your rest. Dont forget to take those potions, it will really help" With this she turned and swept from the room heading towards where she believed antoine to be...she just hoped he wasn't feeling overly viscious this night.

Molly sat in bed grumbling, why did all the professors feel that she did not need to know what was going on. She was a Hall Monitor after all, wasn't it her job to know things in order to help the professors and keep the students out of trouble. She grumbled as she fell asleep.

Haiti said goodnight to her sister, and then laid down on the couch under the nice warm blanket, she took the potion professor stockwell had given her and was out almost imediately, to her emense relief.

Antoine was miles away currently feasting on the remains of an Elk. He would look extremely vicious to anyone that would see him but on this particular night he was feeling a bit relaxed, well now that he was done eating anyways. He threw the deer carcuss aside and sat against a tree looking up at the moon. The moon was really his biggest enemy, as with most magical beings it drew the worst out of him, which he hated with a passion. Right now though he felt rather serenely calm, though he did much prefere the sun to the moon. He was peacefully unaware of the situation at the castle, or that Kira would be searching for him.

Dori looked at the two professors in front of her. "Now I need you to understand, this must be kept strictly between us, Kira, and Antoine" she started, "You where there when poor Jewel collapsed while sorting the girl named Haiti. What I didn't tell you guys at the time was my speculations on why Jewel Collapsed. The two girls, Haiti and Crystal have a tremendous amount of power just one of them, the two together is like nothing ever known. It has always been a physical strain to sort students at a normal power level. Therefor I do believe that she could not handle the second after the first was sorted. "

She paused as if waiting for them take this information in, "just a short while ago my speculations about the girls where brought into focus when Haiti had an accurate vision of the future. She saw something evil though she was unable to identify it. I do not believe this vision was a farce on her part, due to my earlier speculations I do believe this girl can see visions. "

Again she paused, "I called you here because I trust you, antoine is also being called, Kira is currently on the hunt for him now at personal risk to herself. I currently wish to ask for your help, not only do we need to increase the security measures around the castle by tenfold but we also need add protection to the twins. As of the moment I do not believe that the evil has started to move....but we will need to act quickly, we do not know what it is capable of."

Katie nodded. Not many students would thank her for her help, and that made these two stand out even more. She had a feeling that, given time, they would grow into well-educated adults that she could respect.

As Kira left, Katie looked around at the other professors there. Wondering how they would react the the news of the headmistress, she took a seat.

Crystal very nearly giggled when Kira threatened the students with detention with Professor Stockwell. She said goodnight to Haiti and went up to bed, ignoring the looks coming from her roommates.

"Don't bother me now, i'm tired," She said in response to their continued looks and silent questions.

They all looked crestfallen at this, but she just shut the curtains around her bed and lay there looking at the ceiling for a minute.

She took out the potion vial and drank it down in a few gulps. It took effect almost immediately, and she fell into a deep sleep.

Jake was finding it hard to sleep.

He got up and went to his bag to search for something to write on. He had a feeling that if this year was going to stay as interesting as it started, then he should keep notes.

Finding an empty notebook, he carefully went back to his bed, not waking any of his roommates. Putting a quill to the notebook, he started writing about everything that had happened that day during the train and sorting, as well as the discoveries afterword.

This would make a hell of a story.

Sue paled as the implications of what Dori was saying hit her. If the twins were that powerful...all she could do was hope that they were on the side of good.

Visions....that was one of the rarest gifts a witch or wizard could have. If the girl really could see visions, the implications were staggering. If it ever got out, she would be sought after by many people in order to divine their future.

She knew the gift didn't work like that...but many didn't.

And that wasn't even beginning to cover the evil that Dori had mentioned Haiti saw coming.

"I'll help in whatever way i can," She stated finally.

John just sat there for a few moments, looking calm to the others but in reality, he was in shock.

He was usually a great judge of character, and he could see the goodness in the twins as plain as day. If they were powerful enough to cause jewel to pass out, then they would become powerful allies to the good and moral witches and wizards.

He would stand behind them when the time came. But for now, he would make sure they lived long enough to realize their potential.

About the evil Haiti had seen, he didn't know how much he could help. It seemed inevitable though, that when the power balance was so far shifted in the side of good, as it was by the twins, then something equally as powerful and evil would appear.

"I don't know how much I can help, but...I will do what i can as well." He said, knowing that every trustworthy person would be needed.

Kira moved quickly in the direction she thought most likely of Antoine to move she did not know how close she was getting but she knew she must move quickly, she was almost confident that she could deal with antoine if he did decide to attack her, physically she was certain she knew the right spells, mentally she wondered if she could hurt the one person she loved...not that she would kill him obviously the moon was at fault not him.....but she did need to drag his ass back to the school...concious or unconsious...at the moment this did not matter.

Antoine senced her long before she sensed him. Human blood flowed within her veins and something within him perked with interest, it had been a long time since he had hunted the delicate human, oh what a good taste that would be after all this time. A smile played his lips and he began to move smoothly through the forest unheard by the gentle Akira's ears. He let his movement towards her be entirely controlled by his nose and not his mind, under the moonlight his mind had failed him many times. It was then that he saw her and let out a snarl.

She senced him only moments before he would attack her and her wand was already ready for whatever it was he was going to do. She knew afterall that in this form of mind he did not rely on his wand but rather his brute strength which gave her the advantage of distance. She sent a spell, a rather strong one in the direction which she sensed him and knew it hit his target by the squeal in pain he let out...sounding almost like a wounded wolf. "Antoine, we have been here before....surely you dont want to try and attack me again....try and remember wht happened last time"

He did not hear her and once again he readied himself to pounce upon her. He let out a snarl and once again was hit by a blaze of blue light. He let out another shriek of pain and fell to the ground. It was suddenly then that he recognized the voice in the words that spoke to him, the one hurting him. His mind fought his instinct causing him tremendous pain and suffering. Each moment felt like one or the other would give in. "What are you doing here Kira...!" he said through grinded teeth.

"Saving you...Dori has asked me to bring you back almost imediately to the school, your needed there just like the rest of us. Something major is about to hit the school...we've no idea how long we have before it attacks us...we need to prepare and we need to do so now."

He thought for a moment on this, it seemed to bring him back to his mind winning though he still showed signs of strain this part of him was hard to keep under the moonlight. He stayed in the shadows, a good ten feet away from her, "but what good can I be to the students....if I kill them all before morning..."

She tossed a black cloak at his feet from where she stood. "Blackout cloak" she said softly, "after the last time you nearly killed me I spent years searching out a truely effective one....not many are known to exist in the world anymore...It should help reduce the moons effect on you..." she held up a hand knowing that he was about to argue with her, "I know its not 100% garenteed to keep you sane but..."

She looked at him, "I know you antoine...the two of us have been friends for a long time...you have a strong mind and heart....plus....I wont leave your side...if it fails...dont think I wont take your sorry butt out before you have a chance to hurt them" she smirked slightly at this.

He looked at her, "you truely are something you know that....alright then, I shall come. I cant rightly ignore an order from the headmistress anyways."

Dori looked at them the two of them willing to help and smiled, "Thank you" she wispered softly in return to them, "I knew I could count on the two of you to help." She sat for a moment as if doing some quick calculating, "we have never had a need to make our school truely secretive until now..."she said with a sad sigh, "I have always valued the openness of the school but many precautions shall now have to be made if we are to keep the students safe. I myself plan to make the school unplottable, aparation in and out of the school shall now be strictly forbidden....I may even venture to brittain to speak with an old friend of mine about another spell but for the time being that is not important. I wish the two of you to also create barriers or trials to keep the school safe, the same will be asked of antoine, katie and Kira."

"I also want the twins to be put under constant watch while within this school. If the evil has already penetrated this school then they are very much in harms way. I feel between the 6 of us someone should be able to keep an eye on them at all times."

Katie though, wondering what types of protection she could add. She did know quite a few protective spells that she used on her own storage cabinets. She had to use the spells because potions, while effective for many things, couldn't really help prevent an attack on a castle.

"I'll make sure the hospital wing is fully stocked on healing potions, and make some potions for the twins to drink that will help protect them. Other than that, I can help with any defensive spells and barriers you may want to add to the castle. Plus, I know quite a few handy protective spells that act as alarms."

John, oddly enough, looked excited about the prospect. "We could use muggle technology too! Imagine it! Id cards, security cameras, Biometric eye scanners!" He started rambling off about every muggle technology used for security that he knew of.

that was, until Katie sent a "silencio" his way and he couldn't talk.

"Are you quite done?" She asked, glaring at him. "Even if all of those could work at hogwarts, would the student or, more importantly, the parents and the board know what to do with them?" She said, then casting finite incantum to end the silencing spell.

"I could teach them..." He said, frowning. "fine, maybe not the eye scanners, but I want security cameras! plus, I can add muggle repelling charms and make the castle invisible to muggle eyes. Plus, I can make the castle unplottable. I have done that a fair few times."

Sue though about if there was anything that she could add to help the school. Besides watching over the twins, which she was more than capable of helping with, she also knew quite a few protective and barrier charms. Studying outside at night most of the time led one to learn that stuff quickly.

She mentioned this to Dori, and also offered to help with anything else they needed her for.

Dori smiled at there willingness to help with the situation, knowing that she had chosen the right people to help her with the job, "that in fact sounds perfectly wonderful on all of your parts. I think between us we may just have a fighting chance. I think I may set to work on my own barriers tonight, you may do the same or else start on them in the morning, the choice is really truely yours but remember the longer you hold off the less chance we have of fending whatever is coming off."

Kira and Antoine came up to the school in that moment. Imediately the two headed towards Dori's office. And found that everyone was still in meeting with her though the two of them where ushered in reguardless. Antoine still had the cloak pulled far over his head but if they could see his face they would know he was still struggling so close to so many people. However he was able to keep his head.

Dori once again told of Kira and Antoine what was to be expected of them. And both jumped to the task magnificantly.

Antoine Imediately said he would consult his books on the dark arts and come up with something to rival what it was the enemy would use. He knew he might need to resort to an ancient magic but he id not yet say this outloud.

Kira nodded as well, "I too will consult my books, I may even be able to convince an old friend to help us." she gave dori a look that Dori imediately understood who she was talking about.

Dori after all this said, "Very well, you are all free, but remember time is not on our side. She saw evil, she did not see when evil was coming. We must work quickly." With this she politely bowed herself from the room and went to imediately set to work on the charms she found she would place on the school herself.

Antoine also left but he went to his office, grabbed some books, and headed out away from the school but not after thanking Kira. He got to a safe distance away from the school and sat down to read up on possible charms.

Kira left as well bowing herself out...er...gracefully (yeah right). She desided that if time was against them and she was going to be getting Alice to help them then she needed to work quickly. After all Alice was a great deal farther away then Antoine had been it may take her days to get there.

Haiti remained peacefully asleep, perfectly unaware of the protection being placed around her and her sister.

Molly also remained deeply asleep, dreaming about some random guy in Heron House who she was deadly in love with....this week.

Crystal smiled as she slept peacefully throughout the night, knowing in her subconsious that this year would bring great adventures

Jake, having gone to sleep a while before, had a smile on his face as he dreamed of quidpod and friends.

katie excused herself from the room and went to work immediately on several potions. Most of which were for the hospital wing, two were protective potions for the twins, and one was the sunlight potion that antione required to be able to live during the daytime.

It was immensely difficult to brew, and each batch took nearly a month. Without it, however, antione would have never been able to teach defense. Before she came to the school several years ago, he had been teaching astronomy.

As she brewed, she though of all the spells and potions she would need to help out the school.

She finally got to a spot where she could leave the potions alone, and decided to call it a night. As she drifted off, she wondered how the twins would change all of their lives.

Sue also left the room, knowing that she had important work to do as well. She got to her chambers and proped open the books that she needed.

After marking some she found useful, she went to her bed and fell asleep.

John was on a phone he had equipped to work at hogwarts. Making some very important calls, he ordered some security cameras and other eqipment to be shipped to the post office of a nearby town.

After that was done, he made notes of all of the different spells he would need to protect the castle from muggle eyes.

Soon, he succomed to sleep as well.
