Heaven and Hell had been warring for centuries, neither side giving an inch. One of the angels came up with a revolutionary idea. A peace treaty. So the angels searched amongst themselves for a diplomat, and a lawyer, rare as they are. They drew up a formal request and sent it downwards.
Hell responded by showing up with a lawyer and a politician. (They had many to choose from, so that delayed them some.)
Demands included calling Hell "the infernal regions", more consideration of those in between the areas, and less harsh punishments for the mildly bad.

They also wanted a school. It was called Cosmic Academy, to show it encompassed every region of after-death. For at this school, both angels and demons would be educated.

There are two headmasters, which can be played by any of you, or will be played by me, when it is called for.

Rules:
1. Be polite
2. No godmodding. Angels and Demons can die, but they don't do it easily.
3. If you are going to be gone for extended periods of time, either give your character to someone else or have your character "transfer out" (if convenient storyline wise).
4. Have fun. Seriously.

Name: Angelic Headmaster Arquimedis
Age: 801,234 (looks about 29)
Personality: He is extremely calm, and talks very softly.
Appearance: He is male, but looks quite ambiguous. He has long green hair and peaceful brown eyes.
Bio: The angelic headmaster, he was chosen for his extreme acceptance of demons. He was the guardian of a hospital before this.

Name: Headmaster Emris
Age: 804,625 (looks about 29 also)
Personality: He has a temper, but has an unusually long fuse for a demon. He does not harbor a love of angels, but tolerates them well. He also can cooperate with others.
Appearance: He is also male, and looks distinctively more masculine. He has black hair. Several of the female students have crushes on him, despite his age.
Bio: The demonic headmaster. No one knows where he was before this, except Lucifer.

Age: 16 (True age)
Personality: Can be rude, 50% evil, a little lazy, school hater (Isn't everyone a school hater?!?!). She's very beautiful but never brags about it. She prefers to be a normal person (Or Devil)
Appearance: Desire
Bio: Only the best for Lucifer's daughter. To everyone he is the devil, the master of evil, maybe even Lucifer, but to Desire, he's just dad. She was born from a mysterious glowing ruby red egg. Lucifer demanded the demon workers that they bring it over immediatley. Desire isn't really sure where she actually came from. Desire was forced to go to school (Devil's orders). She's very smart but refuses to let anybody know. She gets Ds and Fs on purpose. She's very well known around the school.

Age: She says 18
Personality: She keeps to herself mostly, holding her cards close to her chest. However Althea seems to be able to get along with most people, or more really, doesn't bother with how most people might treat her.
Appearance: Her hair is a vibriant red colour, but the length changes when she feels like changing it. This maybe in the middle of class. Althea's eyes also shift, though only to reflect her mood. Usually they are an odd colour of moonstone opal, a pearly colour with a swirl of rainbow throughout. However she is short, only reaching 5 foot, but her body is lithe, showing grace as she walks, even though she has a tendency to be more than a bit of a klutz.
History: Althea agreed to attend the school when it first opened, even if more than one Angel had their doubts about it. Even before the treaty she had shown a benevolence towards the demons, only stepping in to interfere when a human's life was threatened. Before attending the school, few people knew where it was she had disappeared to, though some believed she was protecting a special ward, whom she failed to protect in the end.

Name: Luci, his parents had a strange sense of humour and almost called him Lucifer, luckily they were stopped in time.
Age: Claims to be 17
Personality: He's a major pacifist, completely against violence even towards demons. Even if someone tried to beat him up he will just smile and say something like 'I'm fine' or 'I forgive you'. He's a typical angel steriotype except when someone either makes fun of his name or tries to harm one of his friends. When that happens he'll risk life and limb to protect that friend or to make the enemy forget teasing him. It's also known as his dark side, or his true 'Lucifer'.

He grew up with other angels and often went down to protect humans that would have died otherwise. His friends call him the 'Angel of Fools' because he always helps out people who put themselves in foolish situations, drunks, smokers etc.

Age: Somewhere between 17 and 18, not quite either yet.
Personality: A very fiery and defiant personality. She doesn't mind angels as long as they don't get in her way. Charna doesn't take to authority very well which was why she got the tattoos to go against her parents. The tattoos glow red when she uses her demonic powers as well. Occasionally she can be calm and when she is she's quite understanding and good to talk to.

Because of this she developed a hatred of authority and now goes out of her way to go against it half the time. When she heard about the school she chose to attend it because her mother despised angels so she came to annoy her. The tattoos were also defiance to her mother, gotten when she was fourteen.

Personality: He has a severly short temper. He's quite smart but most people don't relize it because of his anger managment problems.
Apperance: Appears to be an angel but lately all the feathers that have been growing have been black. He has 2 right now. He also has purple hair and green eyes.
Bio: Because of his recent black feathers he suspects he is part demon. He is going to the school for the anger managment program and because he wants to learn more in general. He also wants to discover his possibly demon roots.

Age: claims to be 16
Personality: Gets frustrated easily but is usually cheerful
Bio: Her parents always told her off for being so angelic and looking so angelic. She was a demon and they wanted her to know it. They didn't want to Mena to go to the school but she had to.

Personality: She is a very easy person to get on with and she is always nice to everyone, but if she gets upset stay away from her because she can be very brutal.
History: Elouise doesn't remember much of her life on earth, she has been an Angel for a long time. All she remembers is that her mother died when she was a baby, and her father raised her on his own. She knows that to become an angel she had to go through a lot of pain, but she doesn't know why. She had wanted to attend the school for a while, but lately she has been feeling like she doesn't fit in.

Emris and Arquimedes stood in front of the gleaming white and slick black school. The doors were even on the theme, one white marble, the other jet black.
"This school is founded on the principle of equality. No student will be turned away." Arquimedes smiled benevolently.
"If students to misbehave, they will be expelled." Emris smiled, but his eyes were deadly serious. "We will be fair though, so don't try to push our limits."
"Welcome to the school!" Arquimedes gestured out, and Emris smiled, a dazzling one that made women weak.
The school was open.

Charna had been listening to their small speech, all the while a smirk twitching the corners of her mouth, revealing the fangs from her jaw.
"Looks like I might as well leave now." She chuckled to herself, getting a smile from the angel boy next to her. The pair had met earlier and had hit it off thanks to Luci's acceptance and willingness to befriend Demons and Charna's enjoyment of disobeying her mother's orders.
"Why not at least try to stay in the school for longer than a day? That would be unexpected and would shock everyone you know." He offered, bringing another smirk to her mouth.
"You try to hard Angel, but perhaps I will." Together the two moved slightly closer to the door, still behind several other demons and angels. Her tattoos were glowing slightly, but with a light touch from Luci's hand and calming presense her demonic energy calmed down again, earning a satisfied smile from him. Together they would be starting the school, Luci eagerly anticipating it while Charna looking forwards to seeing just how far she could push everyone.

Althea arrived at the school and took in it's white and black facade, and doors. The school was now open, and she was somewhat ready to start. A few misgivings nagged at the back of her mind about what she was doing, but they were quickly passed away.

Walking inside, the place had the same motif. She ran a hand through her hair, the length changing from short to very long.
"Well, here I am. At the school. It should be just fine." She said more to herself, and to anyone in particular.

The headmasters left, followed by the masses of students. "Your schedules..." Emris gestured, and they appeared in everyone's hands. "There is no reason for them to be wrong, but please see me if they are."

Arquimedes added, "Please feel free to share any other problems you have. We're here for you."

They turned and headed to their offices.

Lyra arrived just in time to get her schedule. Rather clumsily this morning she had hit her head on her bookshelf and knocked herself out for half and hour.

She had arrived wearing a scarf around her neck and rather weirdly, a red jumper that clashed with her hair badly.
Of course she didn't care. At all. She hated fashion.

The schedules appeared in their hands and both Luci and Charna looked down, scanning over the subjects they were meant to be taking.
"Y'know, I'm quite tempted to just change all of these to be annoying." She pondered before shaking her head. Charna may try to be annoying, but if something made her work too hard she wouldn't bother. It was frankly a relief though for Luci who didn't want to have to be constantly watching out for her. Looking up he saw a girl with a shirt that clashed with her hair and smiled slightly. It seemed she would be an exciting friend to have.

Althea stared down at the schedule, musing over the piece of paper that had appeared so suddenly within her hands. She hadn't done school in such a long time, and a few of the new items on it where interesting her.

'This should be interesting at least.' She thought to herself, before looking up to see who exactly her fellow lab rats in this social experiment might be. Those few she did see seemed to be pretty average. Though more seemed to be coming from the Angels side of things. She figured that, was to be expected. Angels wanting to show how good they are and how willing they are to join in and work out a none violent solution. The Demons not quite trusting of the whole thing, not to mention unmotivated by any prospect of what might be in it for them.

She shrugged to herself, and shouldered her bag. Althea then made her hair a bit longer with a quick swipe of her hand, and set off to find her classes, and her locker space.

Gia sighed as the class filed in. She was only doing this because of Gabriel. She had promised to do it for one earth month. If it wasn't as bad as she suspected it would be she'd stay. She looked out at them. As she suspected, mainly demons, with a few half-demons.
She cleared her throat and began class. "In front of you there is a survey. It's so I can figure out what I need to work on with you. If you don't fill it out, that's fine, but we'll probably do more boring basics. You'll be split into groups by this too."
The survey had mostly situational questions, like 'someone insulted you. How do you react?' with a few direct ones, like 'how often do you feel out-of-control? Do others fear your anger?'
Gia doubted this would actually help at all, but it was a curriculum requirement. She sighed and waited for them to finish.

Ciardha sat down in the second row. Close to the front, but not to close. He Hoped this class would be able to help him at least somewhat. He knew he was quite volatile most of the time, and wanted to calm down a bit. This way people might actually listen to his point, and not just brush it off because of his anger like they do now. He finished filling out the survey, and sat back waiting for the class to begin.

Gia raised a shield and leaned back with a book. Normally shield were used when angels went to Earth with an invisible layer added, but she didn't quite trust this class. Just in case...

((If you want to start a new class you could probably just ask fairywaif to start it up as we seem to be fading.)) Ciardha looked around the room. Some of them looked like bullies, but others looked relatively peaceful. Those ones were most likely the worst though. You might not know when they would blow up. he himself was in the third category of constant predictable anger, but not a bully. Bullies were just one of many things that set him off.

Waving good bye to Luci who was departing to go to Music Class, Charna turned the corner and entered her class for Anger Management. It seemed they believed she had problems with authority and apparantly blazed up when ever someone told her what to do. As if, she just liked being difficult. She entered late, sat down and glanced down at the paper, her lip curling in amusement. Taking it she took out a pencil and began to doodle, refusing to fill in the questions as asked. Still, they were fairly interesting for someone as bored as herself.

Althea's eyes scanned over the paper. To her the questions seemed hollow and contrite. It was a task that had been placed before her, and she had joined the school of her own free will. No place to rebel now.

She sighed and began filling in the perfunctory answers. The pencil slid across the page, the lead placing the words into reality. It didn't seem to make them feel any more real though.

Gia took the tests from everyone. She noticed that a few had refused to answer. She had expected that.
"I will grade these tests and place you into groups based on your emotional control. I have some stress balls here for everyone, and a journal. Whether you write in the journal or not is your choice. I also have some sketchpads for you to draw with. Please be quiet while I grade these tests. Althea, Ciardha would you please pass things out?"

Music Class:
Liron waited until the class settled down. A demon with an unusual appreciation of music, he was instantly elected to be music teacher.
"Hello class. This class is a basic class, we'll be learning how to read music and appreciate it. We will also learn the basics of singing and how to play a few instruments. You all get to choose one instrument to focus on specially. There is also a choir class and a band class if you are too advanced for this one. There will be a concert at the end of the year, so practice hard!"

Luci was surprised to see a demon as the music teacher. Swinging his bag off of his shoulder he took a seat, smiling a brief greeting to a couple of angels he vaguely knew. Luci was fairly talented in the art of music, even other angels admitted to it. His particular joys in it were the oboe and singing.

Charna had drawn a few swirls on her paper but had answered none of the questions. Instead afterwards she'd taken her black pen and began to copy the tatoos that marked her arms on her hands. A simple swirl with opening flower on one hand. The other had the beginnings of a intricately designed six-pointed star with celtic markings flowing around it.

Althea stood up wordlessly and headed to the professor. She took several of the kits and began wandering around the room, passing it out to the other students there. Her eyes wandered down and across Charna's doodles as she set the kit down on the edge of the desk. She then continued on down the line.

Ciardha Started on the other half of the class. The teacher seemed to be okay she wasn't condescending and knew all the kids wouldn't obey her. All that was left was to see is how she actually dealt with emotional outbursts, and disobedience.
