You recalled the words of your mother as you traipsed through the forest, grumbling random obscenities along the way. Just past the forest huh? Easy to say when you're in a freaking taxi!
It was freaky here! Random glowing puffballs kept flying in your peripheral vision, mushrooms weren't just sitting there, they were walking around as well and you could've sworn that the tree just winked at you!
The faster you could get out of the damn forest the better....

Twenty minutes later you were finally out of the forest, and there it was! Just down the steep hill at The thing you'd been looking for the whole time:

You let out a sigh as you basked in it's beauty, it wasn't just a school, it was like a sanctuary. You watched with bated breath as the castle-like school glistened in the sunlight.
Then screamed in abject horror when half of one tower exploded and fell to the ground!

You ran (More like stumbled) down the steep hill to the remains of the fallen tower, hoping for survivors to pull out of the wreckage....

"I can't believe you did it...AGAIN!"

When you got there, you saw an older woman scolding a child, who was sniffling, nose red.
"Hehe...Bless me?"

"Honestly, next time if you're sick...please stay home."

~Welcome to Aurora's Academy for the Gifted!~

Here at Aurora's Academy you'll learn to make the best use of your powers and control them. The only problem is, you may be taught one way to use your powers, but maybe you'll choose another? There are both good and bad teachers; some want to mold you into an upstanding citizen, a helper who keeps their magic a secret, and others believe that normal humans are trash and want to usurp the school to make everyone see their way. Be careful who you become friends with in this new, strange school.

1- Follow all menewsha rules
2-Romance is okay (and encouraged!) but cybering is a big no-no
3-Please be literate!
4- Try to avoid one liners at all cost!
5- Godmodders will be shot, and if they get up and say they're impervious to bullets will be shot again.
6-For now I'm allowing 2 characters per person
7- Have fun! I don't give you much to work with other then they have magical powers, so get creative!

Zeus let out a happy sigh as he stretched in his new offce chair. It was the beginning of a new school year and all (well, most of) the faculty were full of smiles and excitement, ready for the new students to pile in.
It was his second year as headmaster, and admit it or not he was a bit nervous. He had to give a speech in the afternoon before lunch, and after weeks of procrastinating on writing it he still had no idea what to say.
"Oh well~" he mumbled, giving a yawn. "No use worrying about it now.
He poked his head out the window and watched with warm olive green eyes the children start to walk to the school, a sense of warmth and purpose stirring within him.
"Mew~" Luna cooed, stretching in the sunlight.
It was good to be back, she had an awkward summer vacation with her parents. Although they were always iffy with her abilities, they seemed to be getting used to them now. There was a backpack on her shoulder and a duffel bag in her left hand. Her pocketbook was being held by her tail.
"Oh! It's such a nice day today!" she squealed happily, making a few students jump in surprise at her loudness. Others just laughed, used to her happy ways.

Yukina walked down the forest path looking around.She came across the school and looked around some more.

Ariana, known as Ms. Rose by her students, prepared for her 1st year of teaching. She was young, but had the skills qualified for a teacher. The head master himself was quite young, she couldn't but think that it was how she looked that got her hired rather than her skills. Ariana sighed as she began to prepare for class.

Nicholas lazily stared through the area, it was quite pretty. His parents had practicaly thrown him here and he was sure they were throwing a party by now. He never ment to burn the kid's face but that was all over now "So begins the first day of the rest of my life," he muttered to himself trekking on ward.

While walking around campus Nicholas discovered something on a female student's head...cat ears being the curious guy he was, he started poking them. He personaly didn't care that he was poking Luna's head because he was so interested in them.

"Meewww~!" Luna purred and made kitty noises before she snapped out of it and slapped the boys hand.
"Bad! No! Don't do that without a persons permission!" She scolded like he was four, her kitty tail wagging testily. She stopped her pouting and a blush blossomed on her cheeks, he was quite cute...
"...Who are you anyway?" she asked, trying to keep a firm angry look but failing miserably.
Zeus had decided to go exploring, sensing someone not too far off he found ms. Rose. Inside there was a chibi self of him crying waterfall tears, blessing his good fortune that such a good looking lady such as herself would come to work here.
"Nice caaatch~" he said quietly without meaning to.

Nicholas stood there smiling, amused at the fact he was being treated like a child."But there so squishy and I'm Nicholas Brown by the way," he said looking around the general area "so what are we suppose to do, I don't exactly see anything remotely looking like a teacher around,".

"Excuse me," Ariana said as she spotted the headmaster. She had been setting up her desk when she heard him enter. She was wearing a low cut blouse with a long black skirt, and strappy black heels.

DP was nearby smoking a cigarette when he herd the confused students. He walked over to them and grunted and bonked them both on the head. When he spoke he sounded like he could cratch the walls with the scratchyness of his it, "You go to the freakin auditorium duh. get a brain. He went back to his smoking spot and started smoking something worse.

Rakan was in the computer lab as usuall with a bright hot light on him. he liked the heat and hated that every complab was airconditioned. He was waiting to go to the soundboard for the assmebly. He was the only one able to run the whole thing on his own. He could turn into a snake and control everything. He was proud of that but otherwise hated himself. He wanted to be a normal computer geek. On Geek Squad.

"Evil!" Nicholas muttered rubbing his head slightly " Hey, Kitty come on we must get to the auditorium so after that I can get some sleep!" Giving the girl a nice guy pose. He then procceded to drag the cat girl off to the auditorium skipping happiliy a long the way.

A long the way Nicholas began to notice that the campus was huge and his energy drink energy was beginning to ware off.

"The names not Kitty, it's Luna!" she said, catching up with his pace ad not officially dragging him. "Nice to meetcha Nicholas! And don't worry, that teacher is always like that." she made a sour face. "He's my shadow manipulation professor. Has been for the past few years."
Zeus made a noise in his throat when he realized he was noticed, then laughed nervously.
"Hello Ms.Rose! How are you liking your office and classroom so far? Is it bright enough?" It was a random quesiton, but in his head he was pondering putting more windows in the building, maybe that would help Rakan and other lizard-like students...

"Yes, It's quite nice," Ariana smiled though she kept an eye on him. For a headmaster he was young, but not bad looking. "The lighting is fine," She said looking out the window. The students were already arriving. "But I'm sure some students would prefer more," She added as she flipped her long hair back seductively. It was fun to tease the male teachers, especially the ones that were easy to seduce.

'Oh, I wonder why he decided to teach kids but anyways were here, the audiotorium!" Nicholas said smiling "So while were here and waiting, I must start scribbling,". He took out his notebook, flopped onto the ground and flipped to a blank page, where he started making stick figures of him, Luna, and the audiotorium.

"Um, Luna can I ask you why people enjoy cosplaying in this school?" Nicholas noticed that some students have animal parts sticking out of them and he began wondering if there was a super anime club at this school.

Luna tilted her head to the side. She didn't understand...
"Cosplaying? How'd you know I like cosplaying?" She grinned wide, her fangs showing. "I like maids outfits the most! But nurses are fun too~! Oh, and I like to dress up as a ninja!" she started to ramble, her tail wagging happily.
"Ahaha, yes, of course." He ran a hand through his hair.
Yeah she was hot and all, and any other day he'd already be on the floor begging, but he was trying to figure out a speech for today....
He leaned against the wall and crossed his arms over his chest, his face suddenly getting serious. He must have zoned out for about five minutes before he smacked his forehead. "Duh! See you at the ceremony Ariana!" he gave a wave before running down to the comp lab to visit his son. "Rakan! Help meee~!" he whined "I'm not sure what I'm gonna sayy~!"

Hazel stepped out of the cab with her things. She watched as the car drove away, leaving her. She sighed, she liked where she used to live. She started walking toward the school, wondering who else was there. The family taking care of her at the time said it was for special people: like her. She knew that they were freaked out when she started lifting things. But it was so much fun.... She shook her head and tried to snap out of it. She saw a girl with cat ears and a lot of other people, but she was to shy and nervous to ask anyone where to go.

"Yes, of course," Ariana smiled as she watched him run off. "He didn't do his speech I bet... "She mumbled and finished putting her things away before heading down to the auditorium. "This shall be interesting," She giggled.

Having had his fill of drugs and shadow play DP went into the auditorium and sat on the stage waiting for the speech to begin.

Rakan sighed at the sight of his young adoptive father. "Your lucky father I'm just printing it for you. You are so silly. You should write you own speeches for once." He stood and walked off with his arm around his father and dropped him off at the auditorium. Then reported to the av room.

"Hello," Ariana said as she spotted another teacher. He looked to be the first one to arrive on the stage. He was kind of hot, but something about him told her he wasn't a very friendly person. She sat down beside him and waited patiently for the headmaster to make his speech. This was bound to be interesting.

his smell was of smoke and weed and something else. He grunted at the woman he didn't like human contact.

((lmao. This teacher is so awesome, I gotta say XD and shiiiit. Writing this speech was painful, but I hope at least a bit humorous.))
Luna stopped her chattering when she saw the teachers and the headmaster get on stage. A goofy grin went on her face when she saw Zeus clear his throat and grin at all the students over the podium.
"That's the headmaster, oooh, isn't he cute?" she cooed more to herself then him, her tail swishing. She noticed a girl sort of standing there (Hazel) and pulled her down to her level, sitting her next to her and putting a finger to her lips, a wink, then gestured to the stage.
Zeus covered up his nervous face with a kind smile. Mentally he was crying and thanking his adorable son for his writing skills. He took a deep breath and began his speech:

"Students both beginning and ending, old and new, I welcome you to another wonderful school year. As you can see we have new faculty. I'd like to introduce you to Ms.Rose, our new wind manipulation teacher." He gestured to her and let people clap for a second."And I just want to say to those returning that I'm proud to say our faculty hasn't gotten annoyed at our shenanigans and left." That was a joke he added in himself, the students laughed, but some including Luna knew that he was talking about there shadow teacher and laughed even harder.
"Now, I trust you to all be on your best behavior, and remember that the forest you went through is only tame in the sunlight, so don't try any crazy things there at night. It's also been added that you can only go into a female students dorm room if you were given the okay by them, and otherwise there is a severe, magical consequence." Mentally he shivered, because in parenthesis under what he just said it stated that it was also for the faculty doors too, and it was his grandma who put up the spell and told Rakan to tell Zeus not to 'try anything funny, mister!' In his nervousness he ripped the paper and...well, that's gonna have to be the end of the speech.
"Anyway, all I have left to say is Mangia, consumir, manger and ikidekimasu! Let's have a great time at school and let's eat!"

Well the student's may be happy but DP was deffinatly miffed. He had worked her for many years he needn't quit because the students were all non-hippies. He sent a peace sign and a grimmace out to the crowd. "You cann al go_____" Rakan had cut his mic before anything could leak out.

Rakan was sweating as he slithered down the wall of the Sound box and onto the wall to the front. Once there he morphed into a Kimodo Dragon and smapped at DP before retuning to his purple haired self. He forgot he was onstage not far from his Adopted father.

Zeus shot over and grabbed his son into a hug, pulling him farther away from DP.
"Oh Raka, you're so funny! But now's not a time to kid around, okay?" He cuddled his child. Right on stage. He supposed that humiliation was enough punishment for swatting at the teacher.
"Oh, that's Raka!" She laughed at his huggle "We don't talk much. But he's nice! It's weird for lizards and cats to get along, ya know?"

DP was already gone to his office to be alone the way he liked it.

Rakan wrestled his way out of his fathers grasp and whispered, "you know he diserved it. Saying such things to my peers." He turned into at snake and wrapped around his father affectionalty and then slithered off to a plate of lettice, He never could decide witch craving he would rather subdue, Vegitables or live wriggling meat. He stuck with vegetables, normally, because of the people around him.

"Ooooohhh CRAP!!!" Mizuki mumbled as she ran onto the school campus. "Late my very first day. This will never do..." She shook her head and ran, mumbling to herself. She careened around the corner out of control and into a rather depressing looking man who appeared to be a teacher and smelled... interesting. What is that smell? She apologized for knocking the man on his butt as she toppled over him. "I am so sorry," she said. "I didn't mean- I mean I'm- Do you know where the students are supposed to be?" she finally asked, hopeless, helpless, and utterly embarrassed.
