Shinara sat and waited for class to start as she at the sweet. She absentmindedly thought of how most people have a small nervious habit that they don't even notice they do when they are uncomfortable, and how Sam didn't seem to have one at all. Laughing a little at herself she thought she was just being strange, all she ever did was watch people before, she never really interacted with them before so maybe he just was used to this. She glanced back at the other two and laughed as Sam unwrapped his sweet like it was a delicate treasure, and Sherrie layed her head down. Shinara then looked around at the other people in the class for a while and sighed, so much for keeping to herself.

Sherrie heard Shina laughing and looked up from her arms, her hair falling over her face. She wiped it away impatiently and looked across at Sam. She saw him carefully unwrapping his sweet, concentration and awe written across his face. She laughed too and rested her head back on her arms, this time looking round at people. She turned back to Sam and saw him savouring the sweet, looking off into the distance. She laughed silently to herself, trying and failing to imagine that this Sam was the same as the one who had attacked Allie the day before.

Sam turned back as he heard the girls laughing at him, "Seems, I'm not the only one laughing." He joked to Sherrie as she was always giving him looks when he laughed at her and then to Shina he said, "A rare laugh has come from Shinara." Continuing he said, "We have victory!" He was talking as if he was Steve Irwin and was looking at an animal of some sort. He grinned from ear to ear and then shortly afterwards to no one in particular he added, "That sweet was good.." Seeing Shina's face he realised she was still upset or annoyed about something so he said, "What's up Shina?"

Shinara grinned and mockingly stuck her tongue out at Sam, "I bite, you know," she warned playfully. She sighed and looked at him dropping the smile, "I guess I'm just not used to this... Don't worry about it." Shinara put the smile back on her face to back up what she was saying, and to hide the irritation she had with herself.

Sherrie winked and grinned at Sam, pleased that she was the one laughing this time. She faked terror at Shina then grinned at her too. She stopped smiling and looked concernedly at Shina, not wanting her to be upset or angry. She didn't know what to say to cheer her up so forced an understanding smile onto her face. She half lifted a hand, maybe to pat Shina comfortingly or something but quickly dropped it, not wanting to make an idiot of herself or embarass Shina.

Sam grinned at Shina and muttered, "You're not the only one..." and then looked up towards her again when she sighed and stopped smiling, he said, "Don't worry, it'll be fine." Then he smiled as she gained confidence and smiled again. Although he smiled he was still worried about her, so he decided to keep a close watch on her and maybe get Sherrie to when he couldn't.

Shinara tilted her head slightly when Sam muttered something that sounded like "you're not the only one," but she wasn't sure so she didn't say anything about it and held her smile and nodded at them. She wasn't so sure she would be able to deal with having others to worry about but she tried to think of how it would be nice to have some one around.

Sherrie watched the two of them and took in their painful expressions covered up with fake smiles. She may have just met them, but she wasn't an idiot. She heard Sam mutter to himself and guessed he had a guilty consience, being a vampire... She wanted him to know that she understood this but didn't blame him, it wasn't his fault after all. He couldn't help it. But she couldn't find the right words and ended up saying nothing at all. As for Shina, she'd mentioned that she was used to being on her own and Sherrie guessed she was unnerved by people being kind to her. Again, she couldn't think of anything to say. She resisted putting her head in her hands, there was enough of a bad atmosphere without her adding to it. She seemed to attract unhappy people like a magnet but before she'd always been able to help them. Now she felt so useless, and she hated it.

Angel smiled at her and took her hand leading her to her next class. He held open the door for her and even pulled out her chair and pushed it back in. He was making all the most romantic moves. He didn't want her to be mad at him. She was cute and yet mysterious, part of him wanted to read her mind and just find out anything he wanted to know. Sometimes sadly he respected people too much to just rush into their minds. Although maybe once they grew closer, he could share his biggest secret with her. He smiled as he sat and pulled out his notebook before he began to doodle.

Charlotte smiled and thanked him for all the cute little, and romantic, things he was doing. It made her feel special, it was nice to be cared about, especially by someone like Angel. Charlotte pulled a notebook out of her bag as well, and sat there, tapping the pen against it, staring blankly at it until class started. She paid attention while the teacher spoke, but every now and then, she looked down at the bracelet, smiling, and glanced over at Angel. everytime she did, she couldn't help but let her gaze linger, even with the worry he might catch her.

She was really starting to like Angel, really like Angel. Having been an outcast for most part at the other schools she went to, having attention like this and getting close to someone was a nice change. Though, that wasn't why she was beginning to grow attached to Angel. She liked Angel for who he was- kind, caring, thoughtful, funny... At least, what she'd seen from him so far, and the general 'vibes' she got from him.

Sam tapped Sherrie lightly on the shoulder letting her know it was okay. He transferred some thoughts to her brain telling her that she wasn't to blame and that he knew what she was thinking and thanked her for it. He laughed on the inside at the thought Sherrie would get because now he was comforting her when she wanted to comfort him and Shina. Remembering Shina he made her feel better by transferring some thoughts to her as well.

Sherrie straightened up when she heard Sam's thoughts and turned to him, wide-eyed, "How did you do that...?" She murmered, then shook her head. That wasn't the important thing. They were the ones that needed comforting, not her. She laughed , "I'm the one who should be comforting you, not the other way round. Don't you worry about me." She smiled warmly to show that she was fine, and hoped that reading her thoughts had at least cheered him up a bit.

Sam laughed as Sherrie turned to him wide-eyed, he was about to reply to her question when she said exactly what he'd predicted she would say. "But...I'm always worried about you." he said softly so she couldn't hear him say it, every minute she stayed with him was another minute that he might attack her. He didn't want to, but it was the way of life with vampires. He knew though that he wouldn't attack her, he'd die before he attacked her. There was no way that he could because she trusted him even though he had his flaws.
