Valone turned and frowned at him, "You and me need to have a talk!" She said sternly.

"Um...so Alex...this is gonna seem random as hell but would you maybe like to catch a movie some time?-Just as friends I mean," She added quickly, "Unless you rather there be something else..." She looked at Alex nervously.

Brendon stared at her, his glare gone and instead replaced with a look of utter terror. He did not want to have this conversation. Especially now with her!

"...Am i missing something?..." Chris asked curiously.

"I wouldnt be anywhere else. Ill see you Sunday at seven...," She said with a smile and planed a light kiss on her forehead, "Friend..." She purred and then headed back off to her study hall.

"No." Valone said sharply to him before glaring at Brendon. "Chris...go find the others me and lover boy will meet up with you in a few..." Valone cracked her knuckles staring evilly.

Mari giggled watching her go. She stood there for a while before she turned around and went to go catch up with her friends. While heading back Heetori waved her into his office.

"I forgot to give you your oxicondon before..." He said. "Thankfully Lucifer reminded me..." Lucifer waved from his chair. One of those wheely ones that spun around.

"Thanks...." Mari muttered taking it quckly then turning to go.

"Hey Mars?" Lucifer called stopping Mari in her tracks causing her to cringe at his nickname for her.

"Yes?"

"You were in Drama with Ronny when I was there right?"

"Yes.." Mari said slowly turning around to look at him. He was now sitting backwards in his chair leaning on the desk behind him. Mari thought that any second now he was gonna fall off.

"Misa called Brendon your bf..."

"Yeah....so?"

"He's gay"

"Uh huh..."

"So how is he your bf?"

"He isn't it's a cover..."

"Ah...so no one finds out about you or him?" Mari nodded. Lucifer knew about her. She didn't really care if he did. She didn't want anything to do with him again. She would be kind to him and talk to him but no more not again. And he wouldn't tell he didn't like to gossip except to Kane and Luke. And Kane didn't give a shit about anything unless it was stealing Kiro from Chris, and Luke was Luke. . "That genius!"

"Not really..." Maris said staring at him.

"Yeah maybe not...but you know if you don't want ppl to know about you maybe you should be having sex during class..." Lucy said noncholantly with a smirk.

"Whut! We... I ...nu uh!" Mari said stumbling for words, "WE were not!" She said finally with conviction.

"Sure...you at least got to second base I saw her hands go up your shirt..." Mari glared. "By the by if Brendon needs his cherry popped so badly that he's trailing after one of the most unavailible guys...you should just tell him to come to me..." Lucy smirked.

Mari rolled her eyes, "Right...I'll let him know..."

"The same goes for you Mars...I wouldn't mind hitting the sac with you, again and popping you...."

Mari laughed a bit disgusted, "Sorry already popped...."

Then it happened. Just as Mari thought it would Lucifer fell out backwards out the the chair hitting his head as he fell. "OW ow ow!!" Mari burst out laughing as she turned to leave.

"Wait owww who was it?" Lucy asked franticly grabbing Mari's arm.

"What?" Mari said shaking him off.

"Who did it with you for the first time...." He said almost desperately.

"No one I just wanted to make you fall..." She laughed.

Lucifer shook his head, "Ah..nice one..."

Mari nodded shaking her head and walked out to find her friends.

"She wasn't joking you know..." Heetori said boredly once she had left. Lucy looked at him as if wanting to know but Heetori just shook his head and said no more.

"I wasn't the first...." Lucy said looking at Mari as she walked off.

Brendon made an involuntary little 'Meep' as she made eye contact with her. She's going to kill me isnt she? Really kill me. The dead kind. Splat Brendon guts all over the ceiling. And then shell eat my intestines...Ill miss you colon.

Chris seemed to notice that there was something going on underneath all of this. Something worth beating the shit out of Brendon for because Valone looked more than prepared to do it, a few times over if necessary. It had something to do with Mari too. But it wasnt his business. So he looked uncertanly between the two of them, wondering if it was really safe to leave them alone. He decided that, no, it wasnt a good idea to leave them after the 'help me' look that Brendon had just given him, but in the end he turned away because Valone scared him more than Brendon.

Valone grabbed Brendon by the collar and shoved him up against the lockers, "What made you feel like you have the fucking right to mess with Maris' heart HMM!" She said angrily her one hand whirling up in a fist.

Brendon gagged as he was hoisted up and slammed agains the lockers. It left him breathless, knocking all the precious air out of his lungs. Needless to say, it didnt help his composure much. He could only choke out a few grunts instead of the explanation that he really wanted to give.

"Answer me worm!" Valone growled. "Answer me now or I'll kill you I swear to god!"

Brendon heaved in air as fear took over the pain in his chest and back. Gasping a few times he managed to sputter out a few meager words.

"I-Im not! Im not! ....She...We...Were just friends! I...I-I sware! Im not Messing With her! I sware im not!" He cried.

"Well then why did she say you two were dating! HMM!" Valone said as she raised her fist again. Fully prepared to kill him.

Brendon shuddered violently when she raised her hand to him. Light blue eyes wide and fearful, unable to focus on anything but that balled up fist ready to spring at his face like a viper at any second, it scared the shit out of him and he was sure that she could tell.

"Were not! Were not! She and I-" He began and stopped himself. He almost spilled it. He had almost ratted out Mari's secrate. No, he wouldnt let himself do that. She had kept quet about him, he would do the same until she was ready, "She did it to cover me...I'm not ready to let anyone know...about how I am...I didnt want anyone to know...Not yet..."

Valone dropped him and just like her scizo self she changed, "Now hunny that's all you had to say...why didn't you just say that in the first place....you poor youngin mean old Kiki and Valone didn't hurt you now did they?"

Brendon stared at her, jaw open and eyes wide as saucers with a look of utter shock. He was sure that she was going to kill him. He had seen his life flash before his eyes and everything. No joke. Birth, crawling, first word, which was cheese if you were wondering, learning to ride a bike, Sal pushing him off his bike, and so on and so forth, all the way until this morning when he had accidentally flung his boxers into the toilet, no joke. It was surreal. He was expecting to die. But THIS? Now this was weird.

"V-v-v-v-valone....Are you...Ok?" he asked still shakeing.

"Oh you poor baby...I'm not Valone I'm Cassy..I don't come out much but I'ma gonna be around fer a bit till they'all settle down...." Cassy smiled.

"Oh..." he said. ...Right...Valone's crazy... he thought with a sigh and looked back up to her tiredly. He didnt have the nerve for these people. One of these days he was going to die of an anxiety overload and it was going to be all their fault, "Ok then..."

"Now sugar if there is anything you wanted to talk about feel free to do it now..." Cassy smiled.

Brendon sighed deeply and pulled his skicap off, ruffling the black curly hair underneath with a tired and perplexed look in his eyes. After a few seconds he stood up brushing his pants off lightly and placeing his cap back on quickly.

"No...Im fine..." He said quietly and sighed again.

Cassy nodded at she fadded and Valone came out. ".....your forgiven...."

"For what?" Mari said as she walked up calmly.

"Mari!" Brendon chirped more happy to see her now than ever before in his life and smiling for the first time that day, "Im not sure... But...She assaulted me!"

"He's gay...." Valone said.

"....that's why you attacked him?"

"No I thought he was playing you..." Valone said.

"Oh..." Mari said.

"And i explained how you where covering for me..." Brendon said, putting a bit of emphasis on the 'me' so that she would know that he had not given her way.

Mari smiled. Then took a shaky breath and said, "You mean covering us....right..." Valone coughed looking at Mari.

"Oh come on Mari!" Brendon said in an upsetting tone, "That charade lasted all of, what?, two hours? What was the point!? She," he pointed to Valone, "Nearly bashed my face in because of it and nearly outed me to Chris in the process!! Thank God hes nearly as clueless as me so he didnt pick up on it! But still! The trauma of these past two hours will haunt me for years! Years! Thats just plain unfair!"

"...yeah well I had no plans on telling early today and it seem like a good idea at the time..." Mari sighed.

Valone just looked between the two looking for something to say.

"Well yea at the time it was I'll give you that..." he said and crossed his arms, "But it still ticks me off a bit that it ended to quickly...and so nearly voilently..." he looked at valone then went back to ignoring her.

"What made you turn your back on our little fiasco anyway?" He asked.

"Uh....happy pills....from Heetori..." Mari said.

"I can't believe it...." Valone said. Mari looked at her for a while there was a long pause she was worried after all. She could still be rejected.

"That's so Fuckin' awesome Mari why didn't you say something sooner!" Valone laughed, "God think of all the foursomes we all could have had!"

Mari just sighed and shook her head, "Yeah...I don't know why I was so worried...."
