"I wonder if they have those pumpkin spice lates again," She said, grabbing her hand and dragging her allong.

Mari smiled holding her hand happily as they walked, "Maybe it is the fall after all..."

"Bravo, you just rhymed," She said cheerily.

Mari grinned, "W00t! I just leveled up!" She said pointlessly.

Alex laughed and made the Mario growth noise.

Mari laughed, "Exactly!"

"Haha! Were such nerds!" She laughed freely, the statement not being negative in the least.

"Yep and soon the world will be ours!!!" Mari laughed in a bad evil way trying to sound like Dexter. "Damn that failed…"

"Epicly if i do say so myself," She laughed, "But frankly my dear, i dont give a damn"

Mari grinned looking at Alex, "Screw the rules?"

"Screw them indeed!" She said proudly as they went into the Starbucks. Thankfully, they still had the pumpkin spice she had so longed for.

Mari smiled ordering a small hot coaco.

"Borning," She teased as she began to dump just about every topping onto her coffee for no other reason that she could.

"I don't like Coffee or Tea…never tried it really not since I was little like 8…" She said with a laugh drinking.

"I live off of the stuf, and Red bull...im kind of immune to caffene now, but i love it" She said with a smile as she sipped at her drink.

Mari laughed shaking her head, "Yeah who knows maybe once I start working I'll drink it…"

"Well, baby steps love," she said with a chuckle and rested her hand on the small of her companions back.

"Yep!" Mari said with a smile wrapping one of her arm around Alex's waist.

Alex leaned over and planted one light kiss on her lips.

Mari smiled at her blushing lightly. She paused a second before kissing back.

Alex smiled at she wrapped her arm around her waist lovingly before pulling away. They where in public after all, but it was a glorious first kiss to say the least, short as it may have been.

Mari smiled looking at Alex with a light blush.

"So. You feeling better today...after yesterdays...incident?" She asked inocently.

Mari frowned looking down for a moment, "Uh...yeah...yeah mostly..." She gave a weak smile. Nothing much had happened when she got home her mom was out food shopping and had bought her a brownie and made her favorite dinner and rented her most funniest movie ever for them all to watch even though Jasmine should not have been allowed to see it. The name? Can't tell you whatever movie you think it would be. AND got her tickets to go see Les Miserables at DeSales next weekend. In other words her mother was trying to bribe her not to jump off cliff. Which Mari accepted happily though only until in bed when the sadness ebbed back into her.

"I mean nothing happened....just kinda passed over and forgotten..." Mari shrugged uncaringly.

Alex nodded at this and looked her over cautiosly, not sure whether to beleave her or not. Yesterday had not been easy for anyone, with all the incidents pileing up like a carcrash in a heavy intersection, which was the image that went to her head almost imediately as she recalled the events of the day prior, and then a sixteen whealer exploded causing a cement truck to spill all of its cement onto the cars encaseing a random ritch lady, her car, and annoying pet chihuahua perfectly like marble statues. Alex mildly noticed that this was a strange thought, but it passed easily. Despite her usually even head she was as nutty as everyone else.

"Well...i just wanted to make sure...you scared us," She said with a sigh and downed her coffee.
