Mari clapped her hands happily, "Awesome!" She was truly excited.

"Alright hold up a sec..." She said and scuttled off only to return a few moments later, arms full of bottles of hair dye.
"We have...like five shades apparently, I never knew where was such a thing as 'Periwinkle Black Number 5'..." She said and scratched her head with mild confusion, "My moms a little obsessive about her looks but she must be grayer than i thought because shes used all these..."

Mari laughed lightly helping her with the bottles, "Insane…"

"Hardly, just vain," She said with a giggle, "You know how to do that right? I need to go find some clothes for you. You cant have a bunch of mine. Not sure the'll all fit though, your not as twiggy as I am"

Mari nodded softly as she looked through the dye trying to find one the was the closest to Cathrine Zeta-Jones' in Chicago. Smilig happily once she found one and worked on putting it in.

"Im back!" She said with a smile and sat down next to her, "With any luck theill fit," She said and held up a pair of cargo pants and a shirt.
"You do realize that people are in fact going to recognize you," She said and placed the clothing next to the bed, "And their will be talk about...you suddenly dressing like a boy. Its not going to be fun."

"Eh I'll deal....I'm a bit desensitized to being mocked...." She said sighing as she looked at the clothes nodding.

"Mm, you havent been mocked until you've worn a dress to school, well, and you have a penis," She said with a sad sort of laugh.

"But you look really pretty in a dress!" Mari said smiling at her, "Stupid close-minded people..."

"Id look prettier if i had a girls body," She said with a sigh, "Life isnt very fair is it?"

"Never is...." Mari said frowning. She shrugged, "But it is what it is...blah those words sound stupid from my mouth..." She shook her head. Positive thinking took too much effort.

"Hm well, stupid or not that's the way I think, or at least try to, so dont mock it so much," She said with a giggle.

"I won't....it's just not for me...nice for some like you...and maybe your the lucky ones...personally the glass half empty is more my style..." Mari said with a light chuckle.

"Oh well...Lets get off this topic," She said with a sigh, "Oh, by the way i have some pizza downstairs in the fridge if you want a snack"

Mari smiled at her friend, "Thanks that would be awesome!" Her tummy rumbled hungrily. She smacked her belly gently, "Oh shut up...."

"Dont worry i shall appease your stomach gods with Peperoni pizza," She laughed and trotted downstairs.

Mari laughed with her going with her happily. Her stomach gods growling.

And so the dynamic cross dressing duo went down and feasted upon the pizza, and it was good. And there was much rejoicing.
The next day...

There was a slamming of the door as Brendon exited his house for the day, he and his dad had had a little fight. In case you where wondering it was about socks. Don't ask. With a little huff Brent did his very best to ignore the fact that his father was still trowing curses from the house and move on with his day. Walking down the street, a bit too fast for it to be normal, he made his way up towards Maris house to meed up with her on the way to school as he did every day.

Mari saw him coming and frowned she hated lying to her friends knowing Brendon would be lost with out her but ....it was part of the plan...

When Brendon got to the door Mrs. Melton greeted him. "Hello Brendon...your here for Marisela right?"

"Yup," He said, doing his very best to fake a happy smile for her. He would get out of his funk in a little while, but it was still dragging him down more than he wanted.

"Oh....I'm sorry Brendon didn't she call you she'd came down with a nasty fever....she won't be at school for the next couple days...Heetori put her under quarantine until she gets better...no school or friends....sorry..." Mrs. Melton said smiling sadly.

"...Aw...well," He said, his heart sinking a little. He had really hoped she would be there to cheer him up, "Well tell her i hope she feels better"

Mrs. Melton nodded as she began to close the door, "I'll pass the message on..."

"Thanks," He said with a smile and headed off, more than a little disapointed that Mari wasnt there, but, hey, if your sick your sick. What cha gonna do?

At school Misa and Kiro were going through the boyfriend competion where they would debate who was better. Valone was drowning them out up with her music jumping.
